Good to buy shortbread cookies in a metal box with the image of the Scottish cow to give as a gift at £7

We went for a snack would have had a sandwich but all sandwiches have cress on them unfortunately one of us have swallowing problems so ended up having a scone and jam. Why put cress on all the sandwiches. I have mobility problems but one of staff a lady called Irene came over and helped me, she was so understanding. She is definitely an asset to your staff

Great store, there is a first part for clothes which are reasonably priced and a second part for food. It's always clean and tidy.

A lovely shop the good quality food costs a little more but I treat myself now and again.

Had to grab a shirt thought why not grab a coffee too so did that and shopped for food afterwards. You can almost occupy yourself on a bored rainy day in markies. The one in town is my favourite and the cafe is busy but the service is great I’ve been in there when it’s heaving it’s a good buzz great for people watching, the M&S food at inveralmond is in a great place but forget it during rush hours the traffic’s just crazy and there is always a beggar outside the front door which I find really intimidating

Amazing staff here are always happy to help with any questions. However the prices in my opinion are high for the actual product you get. I feel if you have a good salary you can shop here. Otherwise you're an Aldi or Lidl shopper with more reasonable prices

Was in today 18th Feb 2024 for lunch with a friend. The food was delicious. Lady who served us was lovely. Here's hoping they don't do to the Perth shop what they are doing to the Dundee one, and move it into a retail park.

Disappointed with paper bags for groceries. Not very easy to carry shopping for a distance in a paper bag and probably very environmentally unfriendly having to call a taxi when arms begin to pain under the awkward carry of paper bag rather than the more versatile bag for life. Also expensive

Must have been my lucky day on Friday because I found everything I liked in a very short time. The quality as always is excellent?

Decided to give M&S cafe a try and wasn't disappointed. I had a pot of tea and the breakfast wrap which was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe was super busy but the staff made sure that the tables were cleaned and ready for use. Would highly recommend.

Staff provide friendly, cheerful & efficient service. Well done! Food choice the usual branded M&S offering which can be a bit boring.

Why are there so few tills open at peak periods? If I hadn’t had my elderly neighbour’s shopping I’d have left my £200 trolley & I’d have gone to Tesco. I’m an ex M&S employee & I’m sad it’s come to this. I’m also a loyal M&S shopper but I’m reviewing that as it’s no longer enjoyable. Poor.

First time visit to marks in perth had coffee was adequate served lovely and hot service very good will be back

This place has over priced products that you can get everywhere else CHEAPER and just as tasty. In this current climate you would like to think that places like this would be helpful as they stayed open during the pandemic and therefore didn't lose money but they have decided to follow the rest of the greedy retailers that are trying to make up for the shortfall of when they were made to close. So in my opinion they get what they deserve.

We recently stopped for food and a coffee, the cafe itself was really dirty, the tables were being cleared but not cleaned. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days, even the chairs were covered in crumbs and old food. The cutlery station was terrible we had to ask the staff to reclean the cutlery. The cheese and ham toasties we had were soggy and I can't even describe the taste, infact my partner and I didn't feel well that afternoon. It's really not what you would expect from a Marks and Spencer establishment and we certainly wouldn't return.

Love their cafe they do really nice lattes and they’ve got a good selection of scones and cakes. Their foodhall is also very good.

Visited the cafe at Marks And Spencers with my mum for an early lunch. Great to see the cafe back open again after the end of lockdown restrictions. The cafe and staff all adhering to covid19 guidelines which gives you peace of mind. The cafe is clean, tidy and accessable for those with mobility issues. The cafe is on the first floor of the store. A fair selection of snacks, cakes and drinks on offer. Easy to chose what you want to eat and to order with staff the drinks you want. We ordered our drinks and a few minutes wait we had them. It is self service primarily at the cafe. A great wee cafe and staff are friendly and welcoming. Worth a visit!

Top quality fruit at sometimes good prices (other times too dear). Staff knowledge level varied. The lady I spoke with in the fruit section really knew her stuff about the grapes whereas the lady dealing with my menswear enquiry needed to ask her manager and wasn't familiar with current discounts (25% discount off men's accessories) maybe she was new? This was the first day after covid-19 unlock for non-essentials so I was expecting staff would have been FULLY briefed by management and aware of the special offers.

Very quiet, reflecting the poor limited range of clothes for sale, very disappointing.

Visité a mi amigo para tomar un café rápido y un pastel mientras salía de compras por la ciudad. El café está situado en el primer piso de Marks And Spencers. Obviamente, con la "nueva normalidad" hay marcas claras de dónde caminar para mantener la distancia. El café estaba lleno y todo el mundo se adhería a mantener su polvo. Puede elegir ciertos alimentos antes de pedir bebidas y el servicio es rápido. El personal está haciendo todo lo posible para ser amable y servicial. Los cafés eran normales y las tartas también. Para un café y un pastel no fue nada extraordinario, así que califico como promedio. Volvería de nuevo pero sin prisa por volver.

It was okay got what we were shopping for.

Treated myself to lunch today after a long , hot , sweaty run. Tables socially distanced and well organised. Service was a bit slow but understandable at the moment.Had jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn. Potato was not hot enough and I would have returned it if I had not been so hungry and paying full price for it today. No pressure to leave table once finished meal.

A very sweet cheese, sausage and onion toastie costing around £4. Pretty poor food tbh. Something you'd expect from a good burger van for half the price. Great service though. Quick, spacious and the friendly south African floor staff, came over with his lovely accent and asked if I would like some water, which both surprised and delighted me. Shame about the food. Asked if there was a method to tip without leaving change but was advised there was not. Sought a comment box to no avail but got an online feedback address. Probably won't use again.

Your standard markies, food is amazing however, I find that maybe cause I'm young some of the older staff look down their noses at us younglings, as though we're not "posh" enough. You don't need to be posh to shop there, it's only markies not harrods

Very well stocked food hall for 5:30 pm on a Saturday! They had every thing on my shopping list.

Only went to the food court to pick up some bits and pieces for the hotel. The queues were really long for 17:30 on a Friday and after waiting 5 minutes to progress in the queue a manager opened up another kill. Always like m and s products.

If in Perth, anybody should visit M&S

Didn't get a refund for a 2 day old coat with a full receipt. Nothing wring with coat I was just allergic to the wool. Won't go again.

Two self service tills out of order in the food section- never enough staff at lunch time.

Had to enquire why no Daily Mails were on display despite bundles of them still wrapped in a trolley in a staff area. All other newspapers were on display.

Visité con mi amigo para obtener algo cálido para comer y beber en un miserable día lluvioso. El café está arriba y se puede acceder por una escalera mecánica o un ascensor. El café en sí es luminoso, acogedor y limpio, con asientos amble. El personal y todo amable y servicial. Hay una buena variedad de sándwiches, pasteles, galletas, bebidas para adultos y niños, aunque para cuando visitamos el refrigerador, la selección estaba un poco vacía. Queríamos un refrigerio caliente pero los hornos estaban rotos, de ahí la razón por la que obtuve solo 3. Decidimos tomar el festivo chocolate con naranja y chocolate caliente y tuve una rebanada de pan dulce millonario. El chocolate caliente estaba delicioso y el pan dulce era bueno. Bonito café y con suerte la próxima vez que estemos en sus hornos y trabajando.

A decent sized Mark's and Spencer's with a good range of clothes and food on sale. The Cafe was a bit on the small size compared to other branches of Mark's and Spencer's.

Looking for a new top and disappointed nothing of interest. The layout has changed downstairs. I can see why they did it as you have to zigzag in shop and potentially you will see more stock. It didn't work for me although my lasting image is a rows and rows of jumpers situated on the right side going through front door. I wandered round looking for ladies tops and it all seemed disconnected and cluttered. Now I might have missed some ladies tops as I became frustrated and left.

Standard M & S fair, neither outstanding or poor in any category.

Very disappointed, for such a large uk company they have frankly pathetic customer service. I was bought a shirt as a gift however it was the wrong size. Luckily the tags were still attached and i even had the receipt. This would seem like an easy situation to remedy. Not for Marks and Spencer. No exchange, No refund and No manners. Since the undamaged item that was returned within their return period was not bought from that particular store it was not their problem.

It makes a really nice change to go into a shop for something specific and in five minutes leave the shop with exactly what is needed and no need to question the quality

Enjoy shopping in M & S, I'm a great fan of their range of shirts and jackets, great quality. Can't go wrong with the food either, good value. Always stop at the café for coffee and a bite to eat when I'm in the store, friendly and helpful staff in all departments.

Visited here for a coffee and a tea-cake. Coffee was piping as requested, tea-cake was lovely, so can’t fault it.

All superstores have excellent food but Marks and Spencer’s has often a bit more quality. In Perth you find biscuits or salads you did not even know of. Also the service is friendly. Go for the Sparks Card, too.

When pushed for time don’t think it will be quick here because it last not. I don’t tend to use this cafe but my mum has vouchers for free tea/coffee so we came here as we just wanted a sandwich and a coffee. The place was busy and there was a queue, nothing new. The staff at the till were slow, nobody going up the line asking what teas/coffee folk wanted. The gent behind the till was filling up cups and general faffing about and the lady on the till seemed to be doing it all, serving and getting drinks, putting things in the oven. They really do need a better system. Once I was asked what drink i wanted I gave the gent my toastie to be heated up only to notice when I got to the till it was still sitting on the counter.. this really was annoying. I won’t be rushing back, especially on a Saturday. Perth has lots of coffee shops that are much quicker than this Sorry Markies

I regularly shop in the High Street store in Perth. This is mainly for food products as I am guaranteed consistently fresh, quality and long lasting produce. When ready to go to the check out I do opt to go to a lady called Lesley. Lesley is not the fastest at scanning goods going through the conveyer belt but I do enjoy watching her interact with the shoppers before me. Lesley gives the most pleasant experience to customers who perhaps may live on their own, lonely or just need a bit of time to pack and pay for what they have bought. I have witnessed her speaking basic French to a couple of tourists at her check out - these tourists were delighted and showed their appreciation. Lesley always has a positive comment on some of the items that she scans - e.g. - the bananas are very good this week, I tasted this lovely cheese last week or the lettuce is very crunchy! Very basic comments but nonetheless positive to Marks and Spenser and the customer. There is also another employee that greets me in the food department, her name is Jackie, she always greets with a "nice to see you" and "how are you"and on occasion will recommend new products to the store and ask later if I enjoyed them. I feel that credit should be given to staff from customers, sadly lots of customers lead too busy a life and absorbed in their own priorities that they view the service as a favour to them and not the opposite! I have been to many M & S food stores and the Perth Hight Street store is one of the best.

Was looking for quality shirt and jeans but cost of each was very expensive finished up buying similar quality shirt from another store in Perth for considerably less.

Keeps to its own high standards. Only was in food hall, but excellent products well displayed and helpful friendly staff Maybe not the cheapest, but hey quality makrs it all worthwhile!
