Cherrybank Inn in Perth & Kinross

Went for lunch yesterday with my parents and dog on arrival our table was clearly marked ours and there was already a bowl of water awaiting my dog I thought this was super sweet and thoughtful, the waitress we had was brilliant with my wee Jack Russell she gave him a few biscuits and attention he loved it. Service was quick and the food as always was delicious. Lovely warm welcoming place to eat out and we always choose here when we go for lunch. Great menu lots of choice.

Stopped here for something to eat with the grandchildren Lovely food and quick service. It was a Tuesday and we didn't book, just rang on the off chance. Lots of steps up from the carpark so not great for a disability, not sure if there is another entrance, best to ask if going to try.

Visited with parents this week for tea. It’s a number of years since I have been here and I have lots of good memories of lovely meals here Things have changed since the last time. I myself had scampi - all six small bits of it. My husband chicken pie looked great and the pastry was lovely but the actual chicken and sauce was only look warm.. my dad had the fajitas which came out looking great on a special dish but were so spicy he could hardly eat them (he had asked before ordered In to make sure they would not be too spicy). My mum says her curry was wonderful and full of chicken Puddings were lovely and service was quick but really feel let down with the main courses. Would I go back - yes probably just to see if this week had been back luck

First time visit today meeting relatives for lunch. Lovely restaurant , friendly attentive staff and efficient , prompt service of very good quality tasty food . Good portion sizes , filling but not too huge . Very flavourful coffee after the meal . Very enjoyable and would recommend .

We have just had lunch here with very old friends who now live in Northern Ireland. The staff were friendly and efficient. The menu had a great choice for all tastes and everyone was happy with what they had chosen. It’s so nice to have such a good pub so close by.

The Chicken tikka masala was ok, but only ok at best. The naan bread was hard around the edges. The spaghetti bolognese was tasty but dry. The onion rings sadly were almost tasteless as there did not appear to be any seasoning in or on them and the batter had very little flavour. The staff were courteous and efficient. We only went because of a few good reviews here on trip advisor so it saddens me to write this review. We will not be visiting again I'm afraid. Hope you have a better experience than we did.

No enthusiasm from the bar staff did not really know what they were selling when asked questions

Very good food. The fish & chips very well done. All the dishes that the other diners ordered were very good. They have a high chair for babies. Very friendly waitresses. Only problem...climbing so many stairs with a baby or invalid stroller. In good weather the outdoor terrace must be great.

Food was so tasty and very hot. Service was excellent and so attentive / a good location parking on site. It is doggy friendly which we love, but with saying this is restaurant area is so clean! Lovely outside area which we will definitely be back to use in the summer We didn’t stay in the hotel so I can’t say anything regarding the hotel.

Bar has terrible atmosphere. Food is Brake brothers at restaurant prices. Inadequate proportions . Just a shame it has the monopoly on the Glasgow Rd .

Family meal to celebrate Mums 84th birthday Food was ok, building was cold. Cheeky barmaid wasn’t happy that the table of 8 wanted to pay as a 4 and two couples! Told me to make sure I count it up next time! Don’t worry there won’t be a next time!

I had lunch here with about 20 forer school chums for a reunion in late May. Two pints of Guinness, macaroni cheese and a capuccino. The bill came to 23 pounds. Tasty food and well poured and stored Guinness. An excellent venue for a large crowd of people.

Thought the Roast beef lunch was a bit short on the mashed potatoes. Smaller portions compared to my last visit. Had to order a pudding as was still a wee bit hungry, and I never do pudding.

Been here a couple of times. Food has always been good. Had been tacos could have done with like or coriander on salad or melted cheese on taco. Salads could do with some sort of dressing on them . Also, on the website it was meant to be a Mexican WEEKEND special which I was looking forward to they had sold out of nearly everything. My wee boy had been looking forward to the churros. Maybe try and make sure you have enough for the weekend if you are putting this on your web page?? Banoffee pudding good. Wasps outside are really annoying I know it's not their fault just a warning when they are dieing off. Fresh cocktails are good here but pump ones are a bit watered down

It is a lovely place, the staff were very busy but all excellent all the same. The food is good. The issue is that the portions are getting ridiculously small. Fish & chips was tasty but had the size of a bargain lunchtime menu - but with full evening price. Also the menus were absolutely covered in sticky areas, dirty parts etc - concerning in these Covid times. THey need a full wipe down/clean.

Cherrybank has been renovated internally & is lovely & comfortable & cosy. Also beer garden looks good if wrapped up warm. Staff were very friendly & we were served quickly. However food is not good, think it’s heated up. Macaroni was dry, curry was not great it was like a supermarket jar, don’t think it’s freshly made. New chef needed and it could be excellent.

Had a good lunch here yesterday. The staff were lovely and helpful. Service was excellent and quick. Had the steak pie, which was tasty, lovely fresh vegetables and chips. I would recommend and it is busy. Sorry I felt a bit like I had returned to the 80's when I went to the loo...old fashioned but perfectly clean. Continue to do what you do.

Visited for coffee with a colleague, tastefully decorated and clean restaurant/bar area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good variety of food and drink at great value. Will be back and would recommend.

Although the meal was nice I had a hair in my meal. The staff were nice and friendly but the reason I gave a low score is no mention of discount for having a hair in my food not even a drink taken off. So for this it’s a low score. Place came recommended to me as well and was looking forward to eating there .

This is a busy place serving good value for money pub food. The ordering system is not clear but we spotted someone else going to the bar for a menu, you also order at the bar quoting table number, easy when you know how. I think they were short staffed the night we visited as the waitress went to get dessert menus for us but forgot, we went back to the bar. Our table was next to the only toilet, it wouldn’t have been my choice of table but someone had to sit there. We enjoyed our food and it was good value less than £20 per head. As the place is very busy it has a good atmosphere. I would visit again.

It was my birthday today and we enjoyed a very good lunch in pleasant surroundings. The staff were friendly and attentive and we did not feel rushed when making our choices. Thank you too for immediately providing a bowl of water for ex-guide dog, Beau.
