Malmaison Brasserie in Glasgow City

DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT! Stone cold fishcake, rock solid mac cheese, non existent service , only ones in restaurant. Very disappointing, felt like a total waste of money. Edinburgh city however is an excellent place to visit.

The service was outstanding, the tenderloins were cooked to perfection, and the decor and ambiance was nice. The chocolate caramel dessert was delicious.

Staff were friendly but low on numbers which could have resulted in better service. Food and drinks were nice however limited choice. Was convenient for our nights stay however wouldn’t return in a hurry

The food was fantastic, the sharing platter was delicious, a great selection of antipasti, hummus and pittas, chicken, and the cobb salad was fab. The steaks were perfectly cooked to request, the peppercorn sauce was plentiful and a hit with my husband, The sides of fries and brocolli were so tasty. Service was a little slow, and could have been a little more attentive to checking on drink refills. Lovely restaurant. Great deal for £69 which includes a bottle of wine.

Menu not that extensive but what we had was great. Competitive prices and excellent service from Kyle and then Sorina - thank you!

Booked Chez Mal for my 60th Birthday with 2 friends as I had used it before and loved it. Very disappointed with the menu an A4 piece of paper with a few starters and mains not a great selection. We all ended up with the burger not my preferred choice. Service was OK certainly not as good as previous visit. Lovely decor but won't be back, compared to previous visit it has gone downhil.Drinks menu was also paper copies for a fairly expensive restaurant I found this cheapl

We stayed at the Malmaison from Christmas Eve until Boxing Day during which time a festive dinner was offered on Christmas Eve; a full breakfast on Christmas Day; Christmas lunch and a full breakfast on Boxing Day. We were delighted with the menu options and the quality of food served. The service, too, was second to none and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. They wore face masks at all times while in proximity to the guests.

We generally prefer not to eat in hotel restaurants because they serve a captive audience and often don't deliver good value for money. But we were tired after a day of sightseeing and didn't feel like going out. It was a lovely surprise to stumble into this fine place for what turned out to be an excellent meal. We started with the beetroot and goats cheese salad and the tomato and mozzarella salad, both of which were well realized and tasty. For the main, we had the chicken fricassee and the soy/maple blackened salmon, both of which were superior. I ventured the profiteroles for dessert and found them a tiny bit disappointing. (I should have stuck to my favourite sticky toffee pudding!) We both had good wines that were reasonably priced. All in all, a very gratifying experience that made for a romantic last night for our fantastic week in Scotland!

This was our first venture to a restaurant since lockdown and we were pleased to see the measures that had been put in place (one way system, tables far apart, staff wearing masks, etc) and felt very safe. We had been to Chez Mal on a number of occasions before for Sunday Lunch and the first course used to be a great buffet. Due to Covid restrictions they have had to change this and now you pick a dish from the menu and it is then served at the table. There was still a good choice and this wasn’t a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful and took time to explain why things were how they were and went out of their way to be welcoming. If you are looking for somewhere that feels safe at this strange time, Chez Mal is to be recommended.

Amazing meal and fantastic service, I hadn't dined at Chez Mal for a couple of years due to living overseas but managed to stay a few nights at the Malmaisson and took advantage of this opportunity to enjoy a couple of visits to the restaurant and happy to say it was excellent as usual.

Gifted a voucher for a meal for two but not sure if I would go back. Waited ages to be shown to a table and even though at this point it was quiet we were put beside a door to the toilet/ hotel which was frequently opened and causing a draft. I requested a different table but it never happened. Had to ask the waiter if we could order our drinks as no one asked. We were waiting 45 minutes for our food and noticed other diners who had arrived after us being served before us. We asked a waiter about it and then our food arrived ( issues with the printer in the kitchen) Another lengthy wait for the plates to be taken away (I had to ask!) and again a long wait before we realised that no one was offering a dessert menu. The food was nothing to write home about but I could have overlooked this if the service had been in any way acceptable. I was beginning to wonder if we were invisible!

Great staff. Very attentive. Lovely relaxed Christmas dinner. Food was excellent too. Even let my OH go off menu for dessert. I'm not a fan of going out for Christmas preferring to do it myself at home, but illness precluded me doing that this year. And this was a very worthy 2nd best. The best compliment I can give is that my OH would go back again next year if we are going out for Christmas lunch.

While staying at the Hotel we had a lovely meal, menu selection was excellent the salmon starter was really nice and the chicken & salmon mains were delicious no room for dessert so finished off with some lovely coffee & excellent cocktails in the bar. Served by 2 excellent members of staff George & Rebecca who were welcoming very friendly and efficient. Can't wait to come back and try the Sunday lunch which I have heard is superb.

Went here with my boyfriend for Valentines Day and could not fault the service. The staff were so welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were served by Douglas who was fantastic and so friendly! The food was delicious and such a great value for money! Definitely one of Glasgow’s hidden gems.

I went here with my husband for a Saturday lunch on a 5pm big deal. I can't fault the place, it was delicious and I was a bit greedy and went for a third course. I had a prawn starter ( still in the shells), sea bass for main and a lovely apple and blackberry crumble with custard for dessert. Sometimes I think when you are on a deal you don't get the same service as other customers but this was definitely not the case here. The service was great as was the standard and choice of food. It was not a special menu for the deal but was one that you can get just walking in with no booking, great choice. The deal included a classic cocktail, again good choice and was pleased with the quality of the cocktail. The restaurant was quite quiet but still had a good atmosphere, wouldn't put me off going back at the same time. We went in to the bar after lunch for another drink. I will definitely be back for food and would even just drop in for a drink. Some restaurants advertise as restaurant and bar , the bar being a few stools at at the bar or a couple of tables stuck in the corner. They actually have a separate bar which is very nice, high glass ceiling. If I was being picky I would say that we waited quite a while for our dessert plates to be cleared as the waitress appeared to be on a break and the bar staff covered. Not a big deal for me. The overall experience feels like something special , a bit of a treat without being stuffy, I look forward to returning.

Managed to pick up a last minute offer on 5pm for 2 courses with a glass of wine for £14.50. Bargain. Had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. This is not the 1st time I've eaten here and it won't be the last. Lovely restaurant with a nice ambiance to it. Well worth a visit.

Lovely meal once again.Such natural attentive service from Sophie our waitress and very attentive. Dealt with some problems so well in surrounding tables with a matter of ease - a credit to the hotel!

I have been to Chez Mal twice in the last two months and both times the customer service has been outstanding, it is a very personal service that is given. I Don't think we have experienced service quite like it before. The food is also incredible. We had the pork belly and then seabass, both absolutely delicious and full of flavour.

First time here and we enjoyed the food and the service was good. Street car parking and metres are free after 6.00pm.We were there on a 50% off 5pm deal and it was amazing value for money. £29 for both of us with a two course dinner from Festive Menu and two cocktails/Prosecco. Nice atmosphere and impressive facility, although it took a few minutes to work out where the toilets were.

A very pleasant meal and a good selection of beers sold in 2/3rd of a pint schooners. Nice food well prepared and very tasty, Very pleasant surrounding and good staff.

This was a very good deal from 5PM. All the plates that we ordered from the Xmas menu were good with moderately sized portions. The fairly small selection on the menu was well chosen to suit a variety of tastes and the service was unhurried and efficient.

A little walk away from the centre, though it was worth it. My daube of beer was very well cooked though my starter of asian salmon was overpowered by the chillies.

Had a meal for 2 on the set menu which was really nice. Reaps taurine was very nice and service excellent. Food was exceptional. Would go back another time.

We went to the bar before our meal, despite being quiet the tables were dirty and with 4 staff around the bar we waited almost 10 minutes for one cocktail and one beer as they were more interested in chatting amongst themselves.

I was here with another three people on a Thursday night. One of our party is gluten-free The meal was excellent everyone enjoyed the meal. The service was likewise.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our Itison Festive Afternoon Tea today. The teapot of gin cocktail was delicious, and served in a cup and saucer. The food was well presented, fresh and very tasty. It was a very relaxing afternoon in a well decorated bar area - Xmas decorations were lovely. One of the highlights was the waiter/ barman, Reuben. He welcomed us immediately and let us select where we wanted to sit. He was professional and friendly. Throughout our stay he ensured we were happy with what we had and checked back ( without being intrusive ) to ensure we didn’t require further items and cleared away cups, plates etc we had used. It was a pleasure to find a city centre bar with such excellent staff. Well done Malmaison!

Le lieu en sous-sol est une vraie belle surprise ! Cadre chaleureux, agencement agréable avec des tables pas trop près les unes des autres pour préserver une certaine intimité ! Une serveuse d’origine polonaise souriante, agréable et professionnel ! C’est très bon sans être renversant ! Conseil pour une entrée... le gratin of Tiger prawns ! Un peu relevé mais juste délicieux !

Wow. This place has stepped up a notch. Our meal was absolutely gorgeous. Soup and chicken wings to start. Followed by sea bass and the beef rib. The beef rib was a massive chunk of the most tender beef with a delicious glaze. The whole meal was super tasty. Lovely surrounding. And great service. Well done!

Ate here for 2 nights good food and service, and a good choice on the menus, the pineapple upside down cake was excellent and we both recommend it.

Fabulous “old fashioned cocktails” made by Ruben at the bar at malmaison hotel Glasgow. Service with a smile and great explanation of the subtle differences between the old fashioned’s.

We stayed at the Malmaison for a Sunday date night deal, which included a three course meal on the Prix Fixe Autumn menu. Our whole experience was just fantastic... but 10/10 for the food and service.

First visit for us. As a comfortable, relaxing and friendly venue for lunchtime drinks and food after shopping, it’s really great.

After reading a few reviews my husband did suggest we eat elsewhere but being 9 months pregnant and staying in the hotel I wanted the ease of just eating in the hotel. I wish now we just went out.

Bought an itison deal to try Malmaison. Have to say from the minute we arrived in the bar we felt ignored/not particularly welcome. Then waited at restaurant door for an uncomfortably long time. Service was very slow. Starters were nice but rump steaks completely awful. Would not even serve these to guests in my house let alone in an upmarket restaurant. Like cheap minute steak tbh. For a meal that eventually cost around £90 including drinks-simply not worth it.

We visited on a Saturday night at 8pm and had booked it in advance as we had an itison voucher to use. Our waitress seated us and asked if we would like some water so replied yes. She then took our drinks order a few minutes later and asked again if we would like some water. Our drinks arrived (without the water). I ordered the bread basket to start and my boyfriend ordered the soup of the day - leek and potato soup. I then ordered the linguini arrabbiata with a side of chips and he ordered the steak frites. Within a few minutes the waitress returned and my boyfriend had to pick something else as they had ran out of that so he chose a ribeye steak and she asked if he still wanted chips to which he replied yes. The steak frites is £23 and his new main cost him £32 which we feel is unfair as he didn’t want a more expensive steak and the restaurant were the ones who had ran out. The starters were nice but we still hadn’t had any water by the time we were finished so we had to ask for it for a fourth time. The mains looked good when they were brought out but they could have been more generous with my boyfriend’s peppercorn sauce considering it costs. My boyfriend said the steak was great but we both thought the chips had far too much salt on them. The arrabbiata pasta was very disappointing as the sauce didn’t taste nice. It was so sweet and considering arrabbiata is meant to have a spicy kick to it there was no flavour or spice in their sauce. Our big issue was during our main course (at around 9:20pm) the waitress decided to clean all the tables either side of us with cleaning product which was a really strong smell so we could smell it as we were trying to enjoy our dinner. We also thought it was very off-putting and made us feel like we should leave as they are closed (even though other tables were only on their starters). Due to this we decided not to have a dessert. About 5/10 minutes after our main plates were cleared, the waitress came back and asked me if I liked the pasta and I told her my issue and she agreed they don’t make it like a proper arrabbiata sauce. She asked if there was anything else off the menu she could get me but by that point we just wanted to leave. The waitress was nice but seemed very understaffed for a Saturday night. Our itison voucher gave us a £40 credit and we still had to pay another £40 on the night and the meal was definitely not worth £80. We wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend the restaurant to anyone else.

Beautiful surroundings, great atmosphere and a creative and delicious menu.

El personal fue muy alegre y servicial. Izquierda con barrigas excepcionalmente llenas. En todo caso, demasiada comida!

Asistimos esta tarde para el menú fijo de cuatro platos. Nos recibió un maitre de muy atractivo. Después de eso, el servidor de nuestra mesa explicó exhaustivamente cómo se realizó el proceso de almuerzo.

fue muy agradable, la comida era excelente, 4 de nuestro grupo tenía el Chateaubriand que estaba cocinado a la perfección y las salsas acompañantes estaban deliciosas. Las piruletas de pollo fueron un éxito al igual que el plato de sal y pimienta calamares. Se hicieron comentarios especiales sobre la crema de vainilla quemada para el postre; de hecho, se solicitaron recetas. This was the most disappointing dining experience ever. We will never eat here again. Overpriced and very small portions. Do not waste your well earned money dining here. Restaurant was empty not surprisingly our wine was good and staff were also very polite on a plus but this is not enough to complete a good enough experience. Very poor.

Our Hosts Andrew and Ana were amazing. They literally took care of our every need. With our bottle of wine bought and glasses were topped up before we needed to ask, A drew recommended the best on the menu and did not fail to please! We had a fantastic evening and cannot stress how much they made our night!

The afternoon lunch was scrumptious with everything from starters-mains- deserts cooked and presented perfectly. Staff were very customer focussed and attentive throughout our time in the lovely restaurant. We will return very soon.

We ate breakfast on the two days that we stayed at the hotel (Malmaison). Food was very good and service was efficient and friendly.

Went in for Sunday lunch and it has to rate as one of the best in Glasgow. Superb food, great surroundings and lovely staff. A real 5 star experience. The buffet style starter mix featured everything you could wish for, meats, fish, cheeses, breads, pastas, etc and no limit to how many times you can go back up for more. The mains were beautifully cooked and presented. Will definitely be making this a regular stop.

I got a voucher from Itison from a good friend for my 50th birthday for two courses and I decided to have Calamari from the A La Carte menu as a starter, it was terrible, they tempered chillis to make it look like you had more than you did, I couldn't taste anything, only hard bits of batter, my husband had scotch egg and said it was ok. However for main my husband had the Rigatoni primavera and he swears it was a reheat, it was served with dry pasta, a little bit of feta cheese crumbled over it and it was supposed to be with broccoli but it was served with asparagus which looked limp. I had Cumbrian chicken and the potatoes were awful, black bits and I bit into soil so I don't think they were even washed. We had Mango and passion fruit cheesecake for afters, I took one bite and couldn't eat any more of it, it was so dense. The waitress kept asking us if everything was okay and we said it was because her service was the best bit! The people beside us were complaining and getting their bill reduced but as it was a gift I didn't want to make a fuss. I would never ever recommend going there and was extremely disappointed. My husband said it was the worst meal he ever had it was shocking!

Visited to have gin high tea which was mothers day gift. Service great and made very welcome from start to finish. Great selection of savory and sweet food. Hendricks gin served in teacups served from pot. Too much food but lovely box to take extra away. Value for money and definitely recommend.

Amazing service from start to finish could not fault the hotel, the staff or the service. Would highly recommend this hotel. We booked the private dinning room for our group, the staff set the room up and went above and beyond to make it special and helped in every way. We had our own waiter who was so attentive & helpful. Now one of my most favourite hotels...cant wait to come back.

Loved this restaurant, the choice was varied and difficult to choose what to have. Service was excellent and decor stylish!

We were here for Sunday lunch again and certainly felt the food had improved since our last visit. The buffet starter course is excellent value and this time the main courses were tasty and properly cooked (the last occasion the meat was dry and the sides minimal). Service was excellent and the atmosphere quite pleasant.

I visited the Malmaison for the 2nd time for afternoon tea,with Hendricks Teapot Gin and it was just as perfect as the first time. The selection was amazing and the teapot of Hendricks gin was an added delight , the young waiter was very helpful and attentive. I would certainly return and would definitely recommend a visit , regards Four happy ladies x"

One of the best Afternoon Tea’s I have had. Sliders, bagels & soft rolls as savouries and delicious cheesecake, cakes, tarts and milk shakes as sweet treats. Warm scones with cream and jam finish it off delightfully. The gin cocktail comes in a Hendricks teapot with dainty cups and saucers to match. Your choice of tea or coffee are also included. I’ve been fortunate to have been given this as a gift twice. Thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Beautiful place to relax and enjoy!

Amazing! Booked afternoon tea with a voucher as I was meeting up with a friend, Food was lovely and service excellent. Thought we could finish off the cakes but it was difficult but able to take them home. Two guys that were on were very friendly and will definitely be back.

Was in for lunch today, had the falafel burger and the truffle chips with the almond sundae for pudding. The food was top notch and the craic from the two boys behind the bar was just as good and I was made to feel welcome by the two guys behind the bar; George and Alex. George made me a virgin mojito after I made it clear to him that I didn't drink. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend and I will be back at some point when I am back in Glasgow.

Was really excited about going here so bought a deal on a deal app really looking forward to this deal. Phoned at least a dozen times over two day before anyone answered (Mayb have an answer machine or redirect to reception??) told couldn’t book for 5 weeks as deal popular (not a good start but thought ok). The two days before tried to call again to confirm as I had dietary requirements and again took 2 days and numerous calls to get through! Anyway, was still looking forward to it went along whenever spoke to staff individually they were polite helpful and tried to assist. Couldn’t help notice how fed up everyone working there looked (everyone looked seriously fed up). Anyway the food.. starter help yourself to average soup which was high up on the bar! Was ok though! Next course sort of all u can eat also on bar mainly lots of ham again ok. Main meal came was ok but slightly cold and small bowl veg for two. Then found glass in middle of veg ouch! Staff came over and offered free wine but have to say overall really let down others there seemed to enjoy it but far far better in the city ...

Had an annual catch up with 3 friends over a beautifully presented lunch which was delicious! The restaurant is well appointed and the staff courteous!

Christmas gift voucher - and what a gift - think this is the best afternoon tea I’ve had (and I’ve had a fair few). The food selection, presentation and service was first class. We opted for the gin cocktail which was damn tasty. Malmaison for afternoon tea is definitely top of the list for ‘must return soon’.

We visited the hotel on Saturday 2nd March. First of all we had to wait at the door to be told they didn’t have our reservation despite spending days calling to make our reservation.

The booking was down for the wrong time under the wrong name.

Esta semana optamos por utilizar nuestro cupón de regalo de Navidad. 2 platos y una bebida. Ambos elegimos la sopa de mariscos y nos quedamos con cuchillos y tenedores. Pedí cucharas y platos para las conchas de mejillón. Me dieron una cuchara y un plato, pero no a mi marido. ¡Mala atención al detalle!

My partner and I decided to make use of the itison deal (2 course for £29). We had never been to Malmaison so thought it would be a great chance to try it out. The atmosphere is pleasant and the waiting staff are extremely friendly & helpful however that's as good as it gets.... The food was strange, the mixture of ingredients in the dishes were not complimentary and the food was not seasoned. We were rather disappointed and will not be visiting again.

Visited using 5.PM deal, Chateaubriand and wine for 2. Excellent quality meat cooked to perfection and a good quality wine, highly recommended

Good lunch today, portion sizes just as we would want. Scallop starter excellent. Staff were very friendly, helpful and service couldn't have been better. There were two staff on duty, Roisin being our main server. A good day.

Came to the the brasserie and bar for our works chrismtss party. 20 of us, the even was organised perfectly and the food and service impeccable. I will be back.

Arrived at 2pm for afternoon tea and didn't receive food until 2:55pm.

Este lugar fue una vez uno de los lugares "IN" en la ciudad hace unos 10 a 15 años y luego cayó en desgracia un poco. Pensamos en volver a intentarlo cuando vimos una oferta a las 5 de la tarde, ya que no habíamos estado en los últimos diez años.

Visited with friends. Place is a bit dated and shabby. Staff in bar were nice but service is slow. Restaurant food was good. Staff were not. It felt like we were a major inconvenience. Also, complete lack of flexibility with minor amends to dishes. The inconsistency with customer service was disappointing.

To commence this review on the only positive points, the atmosphere was welcoming in the restaurant and the waiter was very polite. Now to the rest, I've never been this restaurant before and I always viewed Itison vouchers as an opportunity to sample something new and then return! However, we will not be returning! We had two courses for two, with a glass of prosecco each. The table was booked for 5.15pm on a Saturday and approximately there were only six to eight tables occupied at this time. It took almost an hour for our starter to arrive, then almost 40 minutes for our main course (we had a show booked for 7.30pm!). In between we were asked if we wanted more drinks, but my husband was driving and I was not drinking that evening as I had an early start the next day. The food portion was child size a la carte to put it mildly, moreover it was tasteless. My husband is gluten free, but this is the first time he had ever had food in a restaurant which was completely bland!! The hotel / restaurant is approximately 10 - 15 mins walk from Central station and not worth the walk. Residents of the hotel, Glasgow is built in blocks and easy to navigate so go and try other restaurants.

Booked this as a birthday treat for my wife. Located to the top end of Glasgow, the building is actually an old church with the brassiere located in what was the crypt. For those less sprightly there is a lift down to this area. The brassiere was very comfort and had an air of luxury, the only slight criticism I would offer was that it is a tad too dark inside.

I'm not sure whats happened here because several negative reviews almost put us off dining here. In fact, it turned out to be a pleasant experience. Good food, if not great. Service was fine, but perhaps could have been a little better. A little more attention to detail and this place could be up there.

Left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. On arrival we were sat at the wrong table and given wrong menus. Our waiter was miserable and clearly didn't want to be there. I ordered a prosecco and my friend ordered a cocktail, the prosecco was brought over and we had to wait ten minutes for the cocktail. We had to ask the waiter throughout the meal for drinks and had to try to catch his attention to order food. The food was very poor quality. The pasta dish was like something from a packet, and the chicken and mash potato dish tasted worse than a ready made meal, it was so bland. Would not recommend anybody going here.

I ate here last night with my husband and daughter and was not impressed. First of all the decor is awful, the lighting kills what atmosphere there is, if any. The service is slow and not particularly professional, the food is way over priced for the quality. It’s below average for a hotel restaurant, certainly will not be returning and they seriously need to up their game if they are trying to keep up with other city centre restaurants who charge the same but their quality is way superior. I don’t mind paying for something that is worth it but that was not the case last night.

Had a delightful gin afternoon tea today to celebrate my friends birthday

This was 1 of the worst places I’ve been to for a long time!

We went here for my husbands special dinner. The seats in our booth were dirty. The waiter pointed to our seat then walked away! The aperitifs arrived with the first course. My husbands very expensive steak was totally over cooked. We were not offered a drink with our cheese. The service was very poor. The manager was very sullen but did reimburse us for the steak and the £15 service charge. Very disappointed

The dining room was rather dreary. The serving staff did their best but were somewhat overwhelmed. Fortunately we were all keen to catch up with each other so any delays didn’t really matter.

Had the Hendricks Gin afternoon T with a friend and can honestly say it was fantastic. The food was awesome, the gin was great, the service and staff were faultless. Such a lovely place and nothing was a problem. Will definitely be back very soon.

Así que mi madre y yo visitamos hoy para comer el domingo. Me gustaría empezar diciendo que nos fuimos bien alimentados y seguramente feliz. Así que me inició en una nota positiva.

Fuimos para una cena de graduación. Hemos esperado mucho tiempo para comida y bebidas para ser tomado. El restaurante era tranquila, sin sobre 5 mesas ocupadas. Pedimos cócteles y tuve que pedir de nuevo después de 10 minutos cuando nos dijeron que estaban viniendo de bar principal. Nos dijeron que como ellos antes de empezar, y supongo que lo que habían casi terminado de arranque cuando llegamos, arruinando los cócteles ambiente. El plato principal era bastante normal, aunque el mejillones eran mejores. Conseguimos nuestro espresso antes del desierto. Para la cena de celebración no estaba contento por la falta de servicio y esta tomando bebidas y las edades a venir no lo hacen la comida especial que habíamos planeado.

My wife and I had an excellent dinner. Our two different types of steak were both perfect and cooked just as requested. Starters and desserts were very tasty. The service in the restaurant and in the bar area was also very good.

He estado en este restaurante y fue una experiencia bastante agradable pero hace años este era servral. He visitado de nuevo, ya he visto una oferta para un almuerzo de 2 platos y llegamos bien, se sentó y nos dieron el menú seleccionado. Yo no diría que el gerente del restaurante creo, pero quizás sólo el camarero vino y tomó nuestra orden y bebidas. El paquete incluía un cóctel y puede ser solo mi gusto, pero fue tan fuerte y no sabe bien. Mi principal preocupación era la comida principal y me hubiese sacado una foto para ti, pero por desgracia no lo hice. Mi amigo el cerdo opción del vientre y habría adoptado una lupa para encontrar la carne y era como de goma. Mi pollo era insípida. Si no hubiera sido por el hecho de que era un bono no habría pedido a llevar. Mi amigo quejarse del cerdo pero realmente fuimos en saco roto. El restaurante no estaba lleno, pero el servicio era malo como esperamos un tiempo para nuestros postres y no se nada mejor. Que le demos a este restaurante en el futuro y te sugiero que hagas lo mismo

Chateaubriand independientes (primera experiencia de cartílago de esta) también habían sido fuertemente salados, comida para dos 7 y 7 fichas independientes aros de cebolla que nos enteramos cuando llegamos. Después de hacer el pedido y llegar ningún empleado nos acercó a preguntar si queríamos otra bebida, para ver si la comida estaba a nuestro gusto, si queríamos un desierto, etc. Absolutamente ningún contacto. Peor atención al cliente que he visto, incluyendo los países del tercer mundo hemos visitado

Super servicio! Ilona la camarera se encargó muy bien de nosotros. Tuvimos un vino gavi a un precio excelente. La buena fue decepcionante. El motor de arranque (salmón) no estaba en equilibrio. La salsa ácida mataron el salmón ahumado que no era uniforme. Los Milaneses chicjen le faltaba un chaqueta crujiente! La trucha de mar era demasiado lejos fritos

Tomó los clientes. Camarera de Nueva Zelanda fue uno de los mejores camareras que he tenido. Era un lunes por la noche, el restaurante no estaba lleno aprecio. Todas las bebidas todo el año y luego en empezar. Vieiras y aceitunas - delicioso. El Cordero y el pollo Rogan Josh milaneses fueron estupendos. La creación Chardonnay no habría sido mi primera elección - cliente eligió así que tuve que consumir. Estaba delicioso. A £45 una botella que tenia que ser. . .

We were given a gift voucher for afternoon tea at Malmaison in Glasgow. You enter via the side door of Malmaison and head downstairs through the brasserie. Afternoon tea is served in the lounge beside the bar. We were offered a cocktail teapot which we declined as we had to drive later that day. The afternoon tea consisted of a fruit yogurt shake with a straw, wraps, mini slider burgers in a bun, bagels with smoked salmon, fresh scones, jam and cream, chocolate brownie, and various small cakes. Service/waiting staff were pleasant and very helpful. Food was good, but it was not a typical afternoon tea. The decor in the bar area is interesting and a bit eclectic. It has a trendy, bright and modern feel with turquoise velvet chairs and neon signs. All age groups were there for afternoon tea. However, although we enjoyed this gift, we would recommend Malmaison afternoon tea menu as being most suitable for a younger clientele.

we ate here as part of our stay & the food was flawless. We had a lovely table & our desert plates came with "Happy anniversary" on them which we thought was a lovely touch.

The highlight was the teapot of Hendricks gin cocktail but everything else was fantastic too. I particularly liked the mini cheeseburger. The waitress was friendly, helpful and attentive.

We went for Sunday lunch on a 3 course Sunday lunch gift voucher. The buffet starter is a meal in itself. There is a choice of Artisan breads, a selection of meat, salad, salmon, prawns, crayfish as well as various dressings - you can help yourself to as much as you wish and go back for seconds if you wish. The main course (Sunday roast) was a bit of a disappointment after the buffet starter as it was dry and lacked any real flavour (both the chicken and the meat roast). The sweets were quite nice although seemed of the pre-packed variety. Coffee and wine are slightly above average prices.

Had a beautiful dinner & cocktails there as a Christmas gift from our family through an Itison deal. Couldn’t fault it at all. Lovely food lovely staff.
