Had a lovely experience at Gracie’s! The curried parsnip and coconut soup was amazing! Food and service was great. Will be back :)

2nd time visiting Gracies, dropped in for tea and coffee and a sandwich. Had the Ruben's toastie. It was packed with pastrami and swiss cheese and came with nachos and side salad. Excellent value.

Coffee was good but don’t know about the food. And they’re Dog friendly.

Had lunch there today with our 2 children and food/service was fantastic. Staff were Uber friendly, attentive and enthusiastic. Highly recommend this place for family lunch 😎

With all the coffee shops and cafes in Broughty Ferry, Gracies is definitely one of my favourites. The staff, and manager, are always friendly and helpful, and the food is wonderful! Whether you're a local or a visitor to this beautiful seaside town, Gracies should be on your list as a place to visit.

Super lunch time ambiance, customers around chatting and relaxed. Very warm greeting and send off afterwards. Efficient, smiling, lively friendly waitress served us Had hot lentil soup on a very cold windy day, full of flavour and filling. Highly recommended

Went in for a quick coffee, and despite it being fairly busy, service was quick and the friendly staff couldn't be more helpful. Definitely going to be a regular visitor from now on!

Lovely little cafe. Ordered 2 teas and 2 scones and was pleasantly surprised by volume of tea, easily 3 cups each in the teapot. The scones were warmed and delicious. My only slight issue was that it took almost 25 mins from ordering to receiving our food and drinks. It was busy, but not mobbed and others who came in after us were served their orders well before us. (inc plates of food!) These things happen, but staff never acknowledged it. Anyway, small thing and it wouldn't stop me returning as the food and setting easily compensated.

I was last here with a friend a few months back. Waitresses came round and informed diners they would need to pay by cash only as the card reader was down. It was my friend's turn to pay but he only had credit cards and no cash at all, luckily, I found a £20 note in my wallet and offered to pay on this occasion. I approached the owner asked for the bill, he said it was £20 + 70 pence, I explained I only had £20 on me but would get the 70 pence to him to which he replied in an abrupt manner 'WHEN' I repeated I would get the 70 pence to him, this time he replied (more aggressively) 'but when, I need to know so I can balance the till'. This made me feel humiliated & very embarrassed especially as there was a group of people standing there waiting to get in. Prior to then, I had been a frequent visitor along with friends colleagues and sometimes family but have not darkened his doorstep since and have no intention of ever doing so again. This rude individual allegedly operates in the hospitality sector but there was nothing hospitable about his behaviour on that occasion, to the owner at Gracie's I can assure you there is no mistake on my part. events stated in my review are 100% accurate and not embellished in any way. How it ended was, I stayed behind whilst John my friend and fellow diner dashed out to get some cash and ensured you got the 70 pence you were making such a song & dance about, then we both left your premises feeling disgusted with your behaviour and vowing never to return - we haven't since.

Had brunch with my mum here, was a really nice experience. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely.

£11.50 for a toastie with a mushroom and some brie on it and it was absolutely disgusting to boot. My husband owns a restaurant so I know about paying for costs, staff etc but this was just a rip off. Also £11 my friend was charged for a plate of chips with a bit of sausage in blanket on it pitched as Christmas poutine. No idea how they can justify this or how it manages to stay open. Hadn't been in two years and won't be returning any time soon.

Staff were great, very attentive. Food was good, I had the “Chick in hell”, which was spicy chicken nuggets with chilli sauce on a waffle. It was ok, but I was expecting a proper piece of chicken rather than nuggets, which sadly made the whole thing a bit dry and disappointing. Another one of the family had club sandwich (I think) but they said the avocado on it wasn’t great. Good place, with good service and overall good food, a little disappointing that it wasn’t great food

came here with my partner on monday and it was lovely. im a very picky eater and substituted many things and the guy serving us was so friendly and accommodating, also making good menu recommendations.

I love it here. The staff are on the whole really nice, the manager is amazing. The food is excellent and the renovations looks great.

Decided to have their Christmas special and I tell you what... Superb... Could do with a wee bit more gravy/juice but the taste amazing..

Lovely food, great service, highly recommended. Sadly taking a star off in this revised review for the smaller portions. We paid more than £1 for 4 small mushroom caps, usually you get a decent amount as a side with scrambled eggs. Not so today unfortunately. Probably won't be going back other than for hot drinks.

A fine late lunch. I had the fried chicken with waffles. Chicken strips were nicely cooked and crispy. Super addition is the maple Buffalo butter sauce and the jalapeños. The better half had poached eggs with delicious tomato sauce. The addition of crispy bacon was good. Coffee and mocha were nicely made and tasty. Dog friendly too. Friendly and efficient staff make for a fine late lunch.

Visited too late for a breakfast bap, but the lovely waitress said she would see what could be done, a couple of minutes later a lovely bacon roll and pot of tea.

Came in today for a small bite to eat and it was delicious! Hats off the chef! atmosphere was lovely and the staff behind the counter were very friendly and had big smiles on their faces which was nice to walk into! Waiting staff were lovely and the whole place was just a nice warm place to be on a dull day. Would 100!% recommend this place to anyone!

Would not go back! walked in asked for a table got pointed to a table from the women behind the desk, i asked for a menu and her response was horrific telling us to sit down in a tone that you should not be speaking to customers in.. we had to walk out absolutey killed the atmosphere would not recommend The women behind the desk is letting this place down, i hope she gets dealt with

Lunchtime visit. Busy at walk in. Pleasant welcome and quick service. Food was tasty and well presented. No room for dessert.

Lovely decor and had a huge vegetarian breakfast that I thoroughly enjoyed. Coffee was amazing too 😊

Love this place. Regular coffee shop on our tandem and the best milkshakes I've ever tasted. Staff are fab and the food unbeatable.....what more can I say!😁

Cannot fault this place! My husband and I came in for breakfast this morning and couldn't believe how busy it was for a Thursday! Our order was taken promptly and we did not have to wait long on food or drinks. We both got the "breakfast skillet" and highly recommend it - delicious! Will definitely be back

My daughter took us here, having raved about it . It lives up to the hype ,great coffee & the scones all warm & delicious . I recommend the red velvet cake, too . Made to feel welcome & had a good atmosphere . Will definitely be coming back again when visiting my daughter .

There curry and lentil soup was absolutely brilliant will be back for more.

Visited here today and was met by a young waitress who was really quite rude. Made a point of stating about tables that she had said not to sit at, which mistakenly we did, then made a point of telling us our mistake in front of the whole cafe. Was really nippy with a lot of the other customer as well. Making comments under her breath. Will not be back.

Fantastic little find today. Was going to willows who advertise on website that they are a dog friendly cafe, only to be turned away as only allow guide dogs which most shops and cafes do. Looked across road to find this quaint little cafe called gracie's who advertise dog friendly status and they were. Staff were friendly, professional and quick. Food was delicious with a good selection on menu. Even cooked sausages for my dog when asked. Price was reasonable. Will be going back when I next visit Broughty ferry. Highly recommend this cafe. Lovely lunch here, sandwiches are great and coffee is lovely. Service is also fab. Its very busy so would suggest getting there just before lunch to secure a table

Lovely informal cafe experience in Broughty Ferry for a Sunday morning breakfast. Service very attentive despite the venue filling up. Food tasted fresh and did its job well. Seems popular, and justifiable so based on good food and great service.

Good spot for lunch/brunch, very busy place but the staff were friendly and organised. Rubens rainbow bagel, milkshake and home bake were all fantastic. Nice decor and clean restaurant. Worth a visit.

Absolutely love the food and drinks on offer here! Always so tasty whenever we visit. Dog friendly too which is a plus for us.

My oh and friend went in for a sit down tea and coffee today.Just got seated when person behind the counter told the waitress,dont bother about them,its only tea & coffee.So they got up and walked out,went across to Willows where they were made welcome.Shocking,and if the owner reads this,you should be speaking to girl on today.Customer service,non existant.They wont be back.Interesting to see what you say?

Great Americano, unlike the insipid brown water served at certain chains nearby!

Ordered plated sandwiches and a coffee. Coffee was served quickly, sandwiches followed a long 25 minutes later. Coffee now cold, mentioned this at checkout, but apparently they like to get the drinks out early? Sandwiches were OK. Tiny bit of salad, no dressing. A few crisps. Cafe wasn't busy so not sure why there was 25 min wait. Next time I will try the Willow cafe on the other side of the road.

This is a lovely place with a friendly staff and tasty food. We stopped by for breakfast. Our server was delightful, our order came out quickly, and everything was delicious. It's a perfect place to walk to from our vacation home. Definitely recommend it!

I loved the hot chocolate and chips from here. I even saw the traffic warden heading towards my car but didn't want to leave. Took the hit for £30 to stay in and enjoy the company and food,👍

Went in for coffee about 3pm. We were not served for 15 minutes after sitting down , then eventually a waitress came to ask what we wanted. When we just said coffee she mumbled something about her colleague taking our order and walked away to serve another table who were ordering food. Not somewhere I have tried before so thought I'd give it a go, but won't be back.

Lovely restaurant. Great malteser milkshake. My wife and I took a friend's son in his wheelchair for a walk around Broughty Ferry. We popped in, and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Will definitely pop in again. Would be a good idea to increase the menu choices though, especially on the loaded fries front !

I was greeted by a hostess who was lovely, she kindly showed me and my friend to our seat. We only came in for coffee and cake which was beautiful, it was the same lady that made our coffee that greeted us at the door, the blend of coffee was delicious. The service was great, staff are very attentive. Overall a very nice experience, I will definitely be back.

Visited for the first time today as not local to the area. Excellent service, numerous choices for breakfast including healthy options too. Service was excellent and staff should be proud of their attentiveness. Overall the experience was well worth the visit and next time you are in Broughty Ferry, highly recommend a visit!
