Quick service staff friendly, Argos in store to collect various items, TU clothing as well

The new refit is confusing currently but I'm sure we'll get used to it. The aisles seem wider, very neat and tidy

Went in today but got a little confused with the location of some juice. A friendly staff member help me and was very helpful and kept a smile on her face. Top tier customer service. Well done Sainsbury's.

Without doubt the best wine selection of all the supermarkets. Picked up a primitivo in a cardboard bottle! The wine was actually brilliant. Fantastic for a picnic (or any other time lol)

Sainsbury's is never my "go-to" for groceries however it is becoming the place to go for clothing. The clothing section here is really small hence the 3 stars. If it was bigger and I didn't have to order online I would give it more stars. I find the groceries expensive. I can buy better quality for the same price from M&S or Tesco. I don't like the way the shop is set out either. It doesn't flow.

Recently visited and am struggling with crutches. The lady at customer services couldn't have been more helpful and kind. I was given use of a scooter so I could do my shopping at leisure. I needed help with some items that were out of my reach and staff members were more than happy to assist. When I returned to customer services the lady explained she would walk with me to my car and she even packed my shopping bag in my car for me. As I tire easily with all the help I was given it really made my day. Thank you very much 😊

I ordered a folding bed from Argos today. I asked for help to my car. No one else in the shop and was told they were too busy to help. I went to my car and as I thought I couldn’t lift it myself. I went back to customer services at Sainsbury’s and was told the same to busy to help. I went back to my car and an elderly gentleman help along with a lady that was at customers services at the same time and was shocked at there responce. Shocking service

Miri that works at the Argos in this store needs to be spoken to. Her attitude is absolutely disgusting and no customers should be spoken to that way (it wasn't just me she spoke to rudely) - Very condescending manner. Also just because you turn your back to me...I can still hear what you're saying...

Nice deals so make sure you have a Nectar card to benefit. Great produce and bakery departments. Prices a bit higher than Tesco

The road leading in is in a pretty bad state. The store inside is nice and bright and clean. It seemed well stocked and we saw most of the store. They have those horrible invasive cameras and screens at the self service so we used a standard till with a nice member of staff

Can’t judge Sainsbury’s themselves as went to the Argos part of the building but did visit the men’s room and it was clean and tidy

workers started to phone police cause me and my friends were getting munch for sleepover due to holidays in the free time that we have and we done nothing wrong, they started being very rude and violent to my friends , who r minors, and i do not think this is acceptable in any way and i would not recommend this to anyone who has kids and bringing them as the staff were no help and not polite in anyway!!! (ps we are minors)

It sèmed really well stocked. Prices appear to be getting better. Had been to Asda and went to Sainsburys for a couple of things that Asda no longer stock. Think we will be back soon

Decent sized supermarket on the east side of Dundee. It’s not the biggest supermarket in the city, but big enough with lots on range. Service is all very quick and lots of parking. Has a petrol station attached. Most importantly, it’s conveniently placed next to a KFC! 😘

Bad customer service, higher prices than other super markets, low stock

Hate hate hate the company i moved into my current property 2 years ago next to there store in dundee i used them for a little bit but was instantly discriminated on by staff i have psychosis and lost my top teeth and broke my nose in a motorcycle accident 2 years ago im in recovery if i go in store the staff hate me due to past incidents of complaints now this stupid nectar card oh my days face it yiur not m&s not good enough to compete with asda amd tesco. Your outshone upon by aldi and lidl and your staff hate the disabled and are always miserable nope no way would i return ill walk the mile to asda and bsck with shopping

Shocking customer service. No tills open for checkout. If you have to do a big shop, be prepared to spend a long time scanning items yourself and then bagging them. It takes longer to checkout than to shop. On a Saturday afternoon you would expect at least a couple of tills to be open. This would never happen at a Tesco. We were even told to sort our own security tag and were asked to provide a receipt once we had paid. One would expect better service. Won't recommend.

I don't like the fact that you have to have a nectar card to get better prices. I have a nectar card but didn't have it with me therefore paying the higher price. £5 instead of £3.50 is just one example. I only went to Sainsbury's as it was the only place opened on new years day.

Typical supermarket but with a higher quality than most. The Instore Argos is great if you forgot about a birthday or anniversary.

Due to its distance from us, we don't often shop at Sainsbury. However, it's a good place to shop in and they have a good range of products.

queue at the check out is always long as they use self service now which isn't kind for the elderly community or a big shop you'll be there a fortnight. Also note the fact of the recent EVENT that happened with them poorly managing an a "recruitment Event" left teens and adults standing for 3hours in the shop! and for them to then turn them all away! and with no communication! Not showing any respect to the wider community of course as they are a big brand I am appalled by the recent events! The women had the cheek to say check the website for temp jobs even tho everyone had too 3 hours standing in sainsbury out of there while evening! the even cheek to think people would want a job that's temporary after the shambolic event I'm certainly not happy and neither are a lot of people! hope hiring manager and her team have a good learn from this and for this to never happen ever again!

Had to do a quick shop at argos online pickup was at argos in sainsbury store was easy, and efficient so if u need anything fast and argos has it even open on a Sunday

I was delivering Amazon parcels in the area and went in to empty my rugby ball size bladder. The app asked me to add photos but that would be inappropriate.

Great for shopping. Fresh and frozen. Shame their is no food or coffee offer.

The 1 peeve I have with this and other Sainburys is they sometimes have only self-service checkouts. That's not great. There should be staffed checkouts as well, especially late afternoon early evening.

Lost a star as no cafe, online said there was so we hoped I might be able to get gluten free here is at least buy something in store to eat but nope. Supermarkets are often a safe bet for a decent cafe.

Friendly staff good choice of products. Easy parking and easy shopping with plenty room to move throughout the store.

Food is all value added prepacked. Difficult to find a cut of meat or ingredients for a home cooked meal.

I find this particular Sainsbury's store very quiet at all times every day of the week which is good, but I find the range of items to be really poor. To be perfectly frank, I only visit because of Argos. When I'm doing that, I buy some of the 3 things it sells that none of the other major supermarkets sell and that's me done for 4-6 weeks. I'd rather see less effort on the Tu & general merchandise to improve availability and product range as the store is simply too small to try and cater across all the things it is trying to do.

I used the new scan and go phone app its good and the staff hear helped me set up so friendly and helpful could do with bright.its a bit dark

While all supermarkets are moving to "self checkouts" our branch of Sainsbury's is pathetic. Red lights take too long to be dealt with and staff are too busy chatting to each other. They'll be asking us to fill the shelves next!! The selection of products is good but the final part of shopping is poor.

Wonderful retail store. Low prices Grocery, clothing,drinks and more.

Only one lane staffed with huge queue. Six other staff standing around. I asked for assistance due to a hidden disability making it difficult for me to put through a large amount of stuff from my trolley. I explained I needed assistance. Staff member not happy. Started to say loudly in front of other shoppers “I’ll teach you how it works so you can do it yourself”. I explained again I understood how to do it but just at this present moment couldn’t. She was rude so I left her. Went to costumer services to speak to someone. Staff member couldn’t look away from her phone to speak to me, standing laughing at whatever she was looking at. I left.

Helpful staff. Handy late opening hours. 10pm. Argos in store too, also convenient.
