Fantastic place to eat , staff were as good as the food and well ill be using a lot more

Actual interior of restaurant is lovely and decorated really nicely, however, coffee was awful. Mocha was stone cold and tasted like lukewarm water, definitely dont recommend. Cake was ok but very dry. Server was young boy who had no idea about anything on the menu. Better to spend your money elsewhere unfortunately.

First time in the Vine. It was genuinely lovely and I'll happily drive from Glasgow to go back. Staff are good people, informal, relaxed and fun. I had monk fish and prawn kerala curry, he had Thai chicken curry, both to die for. Next time I'll try crispy chicken bao buns. Gorgeous x

Friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food. cakes and pastry taste like home baked. Really warm and inviting decor with lots of healthy plants. A wide range of beers and spirits. Try the tennents lager, stored in gorgeous visible tanks suspended from the ceiling. #tankbeer. Highly recommended 👌

The Vine had a great atmosphere. Was very busy but the staff were attentive and service was prompt. Menu held a great variety of choices. Went with the flat iron steak. A great choice. Prices weren't cheap but neither were they too expensive considering the quality of food or service. Overall, great value.

Just popped in for a few drinks, so I don't know what the food is like, but the restaurant/bar is beautifully decorated. The staff are great and there's a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Definitely want to come back and try a few things on the menu.

Fantastic restaurant. Beautiful food and great service. My favourite near Kilmarnock but not cheap either (£50-60 per person) if you fancy fish and a few cocktails. But it is worth it.

The quality of the food was very poor - calamari starter was 4 small rings of calamari and the braised steak was basically braised fat with a small bit of meat on top of a huge plateful of chips. The pulled beef that my partner had was like string. One of the poorest meals out we have had anywhere.

Niece had her leather jacket stolen from here security door staff told her tough luck , went back out following day was handed another jacket that didn’t belong to her and left at that cloak room was closed so where was she supposed to keep her jacket hope the person who stole it was nice and warm on way home !!!

One of the best places in Prestwick. Great food, amazing service and beautiful decor. Came for a light lunch. It was perfect, we shared the Mac N Cheese and chips. The Mac was delicious, creamy but crunchy too and it’s served with amazing garlic bread! Will definitely come back when in the area!

Good food but kinda slow service

Went in on Christmas Eve with my husband and two kids. Although it is a very busy time of year, the service was excellent and made us feel very attended to. Staff were highly professional, and also very friendly, from start to finish. Absolutely gorgeous decor, and really lovely food. My favourite place to eat in Ayrshire.

Great quality food a little on the pricey side, good service marked down ordered wine but didn't receive it eventually cancelled it since the meal was nearly finished. Fairly good atmosphere

Service was good,nice atmosphere, food let it down caesar salad was very bland,chicken was dry, tasteless and very cold and just placed on top of salad..no dressing on chicken didn't think it was good value.

Was there with family, I had lamb shepherd's pie, didn't enjoy it , had a bone in it also to strong in tomato flavours, 2 adults 1 child didn't like there mac and cheese. Was very disappointed.

Excellent brunch for us, we have visited most of this group of restaurants around Ayrshire, and they never disapoint, always pleasant staff, food is exceptional, we've dined brunches, lunches and quiet evening meals and always take our friends and visitors, they all love the various restaurants as far as Largs down to Ayr and all in between, just a great experience every time. Oh! the food exceptionally good, and a super selection menu. The visit today again very relaxing with most enjoyable ...

I have freqented The Vine regularly since moving to Prestwick earlier this year and I have noticed it slowly becoming less appealing to eat at. Our last visit being on Xmas Eve was thoroughly disappointing . 3 times I had to ask for water for the table, my daughter’s dinner was cold my vegetables were cold when I asked for a replacement I was given a dish of cabbage only and not the full assortment of vegetables I had originally been given. We waited over 25 for our food and it was not at all busy. Our chips were also cold. They did take off all our drinks from the bill but I don’t think I would rush back to be honest. It’s really put me off returning as it’s not a cheap place to eat and if they can’t even do the basics well (service and food delivered to the table promptly) I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

My family business visited Vines tonight for our Christmas night out. We all went into the bar had drinks and the service was first class. We were then taken through to the restaurant for our meal. There was twelve of us and the service, food and quality of food in my opinion could not have been improved on. An excellent night out and twelve out of twelve agreed totally. Well done, the whole team at Buzzworks! You are a hospitality leader in your industry.Merry Christmas.

Absolutely without a doubt the worst "Christmas dinner" i have ever experienced. Day old reheated roast potatoes charred part cooked vegetables. An appalling meal and a waste of money.

Food was ok , service was great can't comment on the atmosphere due to the time I attended.

Perhaps just a one off but 1 Dec a group of 6 of us went to the vine. The service was slow, the wrong drinks order was taken, the toilets had no heating, the toilet roll wasn't in the cubicles, it was on the sink outside. One of us had the prawn and monkfish curry that was lacking in monkfish. I gave feedback via their email and emailed the vine directly, but no one got back to us. We spent £300 that night and overall was not a great experience.

Last years Christmas Dinner was delicious. We were so looking forward to returning. This year it was absolutely awful the meat was rubber, no mashed potato, no yorkshire pudding, the stuffing hard hard bits in it. £65 later and the only thing that was nice was the starter. 100% will not be recommending it this year. Very disappointing. 😔

Service shambolic and waited quite a good while then while waiting one staff cleared my table thinking I was finished. Not worth the cost.

Very disappointed, food was tasty but the portions were small actually left after a three course meal still hungry. The time it took for my starter to arrive was at least 20 minutes, and a further 25 minutes for our mains. I had the Sunday roast beef which arrived with only two slices of beef (costing +£19) really poor. The rest of the guests had roast chicken and did enjoy their meal but did comment on the portion size. Had cheese and biscuits, was absolutely a disgrace, compared to other establishments no garnish on the plate and the young waitress literally through the plates on the table. Buzzworks we expected better.

This is an excellent place to eat, the food was delicious. The food quality and presentation was lovely. The service was great with very friendly staff who catered to your needs. The atmosphere was a blend of classy and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant but looked into the bar area and were impressed by what we saw. The menu options were impressive with several specially priced offerings.

Decided to have a Sunday lunch , after being here3 times before I can honestly say I won’t be back , had pate to start with dreadful still had a rind in it , never before must be bought in !!!! Goats cheese cold and awful !!! Well main course , ham and cheese toastie and cheese was cold in middle and a few lettuce leaves , my husband had haddock Goujons , o had to hand back my toastie , my husband sat with his for 15 mins ,cold by the time mine came back , at the end the waiter apologised and gave our meal for free as the chef said he would be arsed and make me wait for toastie , very professional!!!!!

What a genuinely lovely place. The service was easily some of the best I've experienced. Attentive but not encroaching on our enjoyment. Food very good, hot and fresh. Loved my visit there. And it won't be my last

I have enjoyed eating here since it was Elliot’s and my latest visit was nice enough. We stopped by for breakfast, all of us opted for the full breakfast. All elements of the breakfast tasted nice and of good quality. If any complaint at all I’d suggest the black pudding and haggis were slightly greasy but by no means the worst I have tried. As usual the surroundings were welcoming and service was slightly quicker than usual so all in all a good visit. In addition, the breakfast was so filling I did not eat another thing all day!

Regularly visit here for food. Never disappoints. Staff are first class and food is always excellent.

Lovely well laid out restaurant, delicious food and a good selection of drinks. Service, although generally pleasant, was slightly spoiled by one server being a bit condescending towards one older member of our party.

All buzzworks are now no longer Gluten Free. When they were sandwiches were awful, hard and a bit of cold meat with no garnishing. Inedible. Menu choice for gluten free very poor. Service very slow. Lost my custom as no longer have a gluten free menu. Place has gone downhill which is a shame as I used to enjoy going there.

We had a really fantastic meal here and we had gone for the 2 course set menu, but we're actually charged for individual items, but my wife thought the meal was that good that she didn't challenge the final bill. So just check your bill if your going here, but I can highly recommend the food as it was a really wonderful dining experience.

The restaurant is delicious. The chicken breast and salmon with a bit of Thai and Eastern flavor. I look forward to coming again.

We were visiting friends and we all came here for lunch. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere good. The food was excellent no other word for it.

We went out of our way today to go here for lunch as we love it and always visit when we are in the Prestwick/Ayr area. Today we wished we had given it a miss. Don't know what's happened but the menu has changed and the food we did get was absolutely tasteless. We ordered the sharing chicken tempura which was around £17 (on its own) it wasn't even enough for one person never mind 2. The chicken wings were dry and over cooked. Chips were cold. We ordered a second portion of chips as we didn't have enough with the chicken portion being so small. The second portion of chips didn't appear. We asked to swap these to an ice cream for our little girl which came out melted. Service itself was pretty poor certainly not up to usual standards. Unfortunately we won't be back to a restaurant that we used to love when in the area.

Lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated, relaxed atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Will definitely be back, my vegan burger was one of the best burgers I've had ( am not vegan so this includes meat burgers) and my mum said the salmon was delicious. Wish I lived nearer, this would be a regular haunt.

Excellent visit to Prestwick with very nice lunch shared with friends.

5 couples booked in on a busy saturday night visiting friends in the area. All had fabulous meals, hot food served to all, service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone wishing to eat out in Prestwick.

The star was excellent. The main course was terrible I ordered peri peri chicken that was not what came out it had no taste of any peri peri on it at all .

Have eaten here many times but have found the service getting really poor. There no longer seems to be a senior ‘Floor Walker’ in charge. There were 7 of us on a Sunday evening where the restaurant was only moderately busy. Starters were missed for one us which made everyone feel bad - no one really apologised or expedited the delay. Main course took ages - and again, ages to clear away despite waitresses just standing around chatting. We had to get up to ask for more drinks. At the end we skipped desert as it was taking so long for attention. I removed the service charge due to poor servicing and expected an inquiry as to what the problem was (or an apology). Waitress had no interest in why or what could have been done. This was a great venue once - but this was very poor. No ‘grip’.

I won’t be back following our recent visit which could only be described as a catalogue of errors. Served the wrong mains, the replacements were cold and missing items from the menu description, dessert was served in a puddle of mostly melted ice cream that should never have been served to paying customers. Of course the bill was also wrong. No one seemed to have ownership of our table and we were served by 4 or 5 different staff (all indifferent and poorly trained). Consequently no one seemed to identify that our experience had been really poor. I don’t know what’s happened here but this restaurant has really went downhill, worst of the Buzzworks lot by far.

My granddaughter and I were here for lunch.....We both had had the catalan stew, which was a fish stew cooked with tomatoes and vegetables in it with herbs and spices...It was absolutely delicious... This place has a lovely relaxed ambience with good service and excellent food....

I am very disappointed this restaurant is no longer gluten-free. They give you a menu which says Low Gluten. In my 40 years as a coeliac, I've never seen or heard of low gluten menus. I've dined here for years. Surely, a big company like Buzzworks could provide a gluten-free option. I have spoken to Scott, the food manager, numerous times, so I am waiting on yet another update. I've spoken with Coeliac UK. I dine here, usually with friends from Glasgow and friends from Edinburgh, so I can't do that now.

Nice venue but my food was disappointing. I opted for the Sunday Roast which I was really looking forward to as it's a classic meal. I was asked if I would like my meat on the pink side and I said yes, when it came it wasn't pink. Sadly that wasn't the only thing, I could have done with a steak knife to get through my Yorkshire pudding and the carrot. A roast dinner is simple so all the elements have to be done well and this just wasn't. No complaints about the waiting staff though.

I walked in today. “Older” American woman on my own. I’m never sure where I’ll feel comfortable. I was made to feel so welcome from the moment I walked in with a a friendly HI from the bartender. All the young servers were so nice. The food was really good, and the place was clean and such a pleasant and fun atmosphere. I highly recommend!

Lovely surprise to find on Prestwick's main street. Staff are friendly and efficient, menu has some different twists. The burger and roasted chicken are recommended. The decor is refreshingly different too - the Instagram crowd will love it!
