This place is horrendous and not dog friendly, unless you want to sit in a dirty leaky awning with zero service. Please avoid.

Lovely food atmosphere and service

It may be that we were unfortunate, but i can't help feeling this place is more style over substance. There is no doubt the decor and atmosphere are excellent. However, we called in for breakfast and ordered some fresh oj and lemonade and an egg and mushroom sourdough and a swiss cheese and ham benedict, and then we waited......and waited, and waited some more. in fact, we waited 40 minutes for the food to be served and when it came out the cheese which had melted had soldified again probably whilst the waited for the poached eggs so it came out lukewarm, and it wasn't even that busy. As for the f.o.j and lemonade, I think they may have sat the lemonade next to the oj as they certainly didn't put much in the glass. all in all, it was probably the first and last visit left disappointed and underwhelmed

After going here for years and loving it, we went last Friday the food and the service was terrible. I wrote to complain and never got a reply. Not good customer service. We ate at Scott’s Troon on Sunday and it was a good as usual. Don’t think we will go back to the vine

Beautiful place, lovely staff very welcoming and helpful but the Mac and cheese ( which my daughter had, I tried it) was the worst I’ve tried, very runny,no flavours, and bland, was like pasta and milk. This recipe is definitely lacking flavour. Rest of the food was beautiful, really enjoyed the chicken. Great price too.

Went for dinner on Easter Sunday and the food and service was excellent. There was plenty of space between tables which we all appreciated. Menu was terrific, so it was difficult to make a choice but every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Great place to watch the football and for an evening out. Excellent value for money and the staff are always courteous.

We went in on a busy Saturday night looking for a table and luckily they were able to fit us in. Ellie was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. She looked after us really well, was very friendly and didn't seem stressed rushing about even though it was really busy.

I wouldn’t recommend here. The service was extremely offhand and the food (cheese and ham croissant) almost unbearably salty. Based on this visit. I won’t be back.

Booked a table and was greeted and seated straight away, the menu has changed from the last time and there was a lot of Asian style options which looked great! The staff were friendly, however I gave a three star because we continuously had to flag someone down to order more drinks or water for the table etc. Very happy to serve and chatted when over, just had to wait a while to get someone and sat with no drinks at several points waiting.

Very expensive for what it was, we had the vine platter, 6 small pieses of tampura chicken, mostly batter, 2 chicken kebabs (6 cubes of chicken), over cooked so chewy,4 veg gyoza, over cooked flats bread, got a portion of chips and 2 coffees £35 felt I had been done will definitely never be going back, over priced and tasteless

Had a lovely time at teatime. Served by a lovely guy called Max at the bar. So cheery and attentive made our evening.

Our server ( didn't get her name ) but the young slim blonde girl was fantastic, great attitude. then the very pleasant young man who actually brought the food, well trained young people. Topped with the lovely lady who was maitre d. This is not the cheapest establishment but well worth every penny, we shall retun. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful decors inside. First time in here definitely coming back again. Amy is lovely and friendly. She took our orders. I ordered M Slider board. Small size burger, Crispy prawn, pulled pork/cole slaw all came with mini buns. It was cooked perfectionist to my taste. My friend had beef burger with chips. It wasn't too expensive. I came back today 22nd Feb with another friend. We were served by Emma such a lovely friendly girl. Catherine had slider board and I had sweet chilli chicken with rice and prawn crackers. A little bit sweet for me.

One post roast was beautiful. Meat fell off the bone

Meal & drinks at Vics (the vine) Prestwick, as they have a dog friendly section. Have been here many times but had to leave a review regarding our experience. Staff always first class and very friendly, especially Stacy who makes your visit extra special with her professionalism and warm welcome. She keeps the place immaculate and works like a wee bee buzzing about. Stacy always has time for our wee dog Cody and due to his kidney issues he no longer can have his doggy sausage which Stacy used to give him. She is a star employee who goes above and beyond to make your visit memorable. The food always great and good value for money. Our only wish is that dogs were also welcome in the bar area. Well done the vic for great food, great staff and always a great experience.

Booked for 60th birthday, asked for nice window table, which I appreciate is just a request, were given a table in centre . Weren’t told certain dishes were not available when given menus so eventually got third choice. Didn’t get asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, which we would have ordered as special occasion, eventually managed to get bill, expensive £81 for 2 starters, 2 burgers and 3 drinks.. not offered water for table. Certainly don’t mind paying for good food and service but for a special occasion this was disappointing, don’t think we will be back.

Food was well above average. Would visit again. Top drawer quality. Service a bit slow, but the restaurant was busy. Music slightly on the loud side ( I'm just an old git!), but good atmosphere.

Lovely this place. Such a great dining space. Comfortable, welcoming with a great buzz and fantastic lighting. Staff friendly and attentive and we all commented on how good the food was.

We visited for brunch this week, it took a long time to get service. When we did order we had a lengthy wait for the food. The food arrived and it was mediocre, the eggs were over cooked and lukewarm warm. We have eaten here before and the food was good but a big disappointment this visit.

Popped in for a morning tea and scone. The service was really good, the price was very reasonable and the scone was good with plenty of jam.

Verbally abused by a member of staff who accused me of peeing on the bathroom floor! One of the urinals was blocked, so maybe you should sort your plumbing out, rather than falsely accusing customers, who in my case will never return.

We arrived with two dogs at quarter to 12 , set up the outdoor heaters and checked the breakfast menu . Went in to order at ten two and was curtly told it was too late to order breakfast ? We would be able to order lunch at 12 . Menus were only then removed from the display shelf and lunch ones put there at 12 , 10 ft away from us although the server could see we were sitting there !. First time and last time we will try this pet friendly !!customer friendly restaurant . Surely they should advertise breakfast up to 11.30 rather than 12 . Would it have been too much trouble to serve a few filled rolls ?? Went elsewhere where the service and food excellent. Disappointing vine

Absolutely stunning decor and interior design to make a spectacular seating experience. Really makes you feel like you're in a well cared for restaurant. The food in my opinion wasn't up to the price they charge unfortunately. Don't get me wrong it is good, but can get the same elsewhere for less.

Used to go here when it was Elliotts, this is the first time in The Vine. I would recommend the pan fried seabass, I had it for lunch and it was delicious. Nice relaxed resteraunt with great food 👌

Just wanted to leave a review to highlight the great service provided by one of your staff. Nothing was too much for one of your servers. Always a smile on her face with every request. The only thing I would say should be looked at is the portion size of the adult macaroni. Everything else was plenty but the mac was the same size as kids on bigger plate. However I will definitely be back as the service was 10/10 and the food was lovely.

This is the best meal we had eaten in a long time. Food was fresh, hot and tasty! Friendly, helpful staff. Would be important to book in advance.

It was really hard to get the servers attention when we were looking for water, then the same again when we wanted the bill.

Went here with friends following a recommendation. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Food and service was excellent. Cheese board was amazing. If I'd had a fridge in my hotel room I'd have asked for a doggie bag to take what was left home for supper lol

Excellent attention from John and Georgia during our visit. Both were so friendly and attentive during our visit. They are great ambassadors for the company. Food superb. Will be back for sure.

Great Sunday roast service first class and good atmosphere

What a lovely experience at The Vine. My friend took me for a Birthday lunch and the food was outstanding. The BBQ cod and seabass especially. The setting is beautiful and the service was excellent. Can't wait to go back!

The portions of food shocking fish gougains l received 3 only and husband had the lamb received 4 very small pices of meat.

I had lunch at the Vine today with a friend. The service was excellent but, unfortunately, the meal was not very hot. However, the waiter said they would work on that.

Just enjoyed a delicious late lunch in The Vine with my friend today. We visited the restaurant the last time we were in Prestwick and we were so impressed we thought we’d try it again and we were not disappointed. I’m quite a critical person but I was so impressed with the whole ethos of the place. Literally everything has been thought of with the customer in mind. The staff are well trained and professionally friendly, the menu choices varied to suit most tastes and the decor so relaxing. I sometimes wish I stayed in Prestwick just to visit more often.

Went for full breakfasts with my friend recently the place looked nice the staff were attentive but the food was disgusting could hardly eat it. Was not cooked fresh to order rock hard burnt bacon ,potato scones like rubber, no haggis and not told it would be missing . The tea was foul like a pound land variety. And it was extra ££ to get a pot of tea or a coffee with breakfast. The plates were warm but the food was placed on them cold!..beans were like a teaspoon worth in a tiny milk jug also half a tomato ,two small mushrooms, inedible bacon ,burnt black pudding and a pork link that tasted of nothing was peel wally undercooked looking. And the toast placed over the top to.make it look like the plate was full..tiny portions given. All in all for two brekkies and teas was £34 plus. They also added a cheeky service charge ,seems the chef was lazy everything was reheats. Wanted to try this place for ages but would never go back we did wonder why it was so quiet when the wee cafe next door along was absolutely rammed with people in for brekkie (possibly we know why now.)overpriced cheap rotten low budget food and bacon fused together as so burnt!

Great food and service.Reasonably priced and nice and cool inside on a blistering hot day. One miner gripe waiter asked about allergies or ingredients not liked.My wife told him of her distaste of coriander which he noted.When her food arrived smallpieces of corriander mixed up through her salad.🤔 But apart from that we will be back.

Picked this restaurant at short notice, was absolutely amazing, food was great, staff were incredible, well oiled machine without feeling rushed.

The food was very good, if a bit pricey. The ladies had cocktails which were good though. There is parking around the back and plenty of on street parking. The service was quick and efficient, the restaurant is is very nice inside.

Cannot recommend this place enough. I went on a Monday night and it was ridiculously busy. After tasting the food, I can understand why. All 3 courses were delicious. If I'm ever back in this area, will definitely go back

I’ve written this review on booking online so have based my review on this rather than actually visiting on this occasion. Been to the Vine lots and normally had a really nice relaxing lunch. Went to book a table for lunch today and basically given the table for 1.5 hours max. Tried different times with the same result. On previous visits it’s normally about half an hour before the starter arrives as you’ve to be seated, choose drinks, look through the menu etc therefore unless I want to race though everything I’m not going to fit in starter, main, coffee in about an hour. Unfortunately this seems to be a trend in a lot of restaurants now who obviously don’t value their customers and expect you to shove the food down your throat and get out as quickly as possible til they get the next customer in. Not hospitality at its best. Sorry Vine I won’t be back until this changes.

Have been here numerous times now and every time it has been great Customer service is fantastic, all of the staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and always spotless and the food is delicious. We usually come as a family with a toddler and baby and have been made to feel welcome everytime. Highly recommend

Pop in in a Friday for lunch specials amazing value for money, food good and always clean, I always see adverts for theme nights that look great, defo need to try one of these.

Lovely restaurant, nice staff, good starter .... but ... awful main course not as described in menu. Seabass on top of bed of mash rather than accompanied with baby potatoes. Terrible as a result. Concerned that apparently I am not the first to make that complaint??

Had a lovely catch up today for late lunch, with family from Prestwick Kilmarnock and Cousins from London, Cambridge and New Zealand (Who originally came from Scotland) Food Service and atmosphere were all good Perfect meeting establishment would highly recommend
