Thank you to the team at The Coach for making our little boy's birthday so special tonight :) What do you do when your 11 year old foodie asks for a Michelin star meal as his birthday present? Book The Coach! The team went absolutely above and beyond to make him feel special with so many little extras, gestures and even a little tour of the kitchen - so much more than we expected! The food itself was absolutely wonderful, it was hard to pick a favourite but the hispi cabbage and the onion soup were big suprise hits! Also the chips were literally the best chips I've ever tried in my life. We had 2 plates each and then all just shared which is the best way to get to try lots of different things and, doing it that way, we felt perfectly full despite the dishes being quite small. But it really is the people here that make the experience, every single team member was warm, friendly and really made our evening. This place is an absolute gem - a Michelin star experience that isn't stuffy like some, welcoming to children and fantastic value. We'll definitely be back again in the future and this will be something the birthday boy remembers and talks about for a long long time....

Lovely looking pub and very clean and comfortable. It has a good selection of food. Steak ciabbata was really nice, but horse radish was a bit too strong. Sean, our host, was excellent. He had a good sense of humour and was attentive. Highly recommend the hot drink with mini pudding to end the meal. Would love to visit again.

We have been here about 6 times over the past year whilst visiting The service is always brilliant both efficient and friendly We always have fish and chips ( meat free Monday) and it is always fantastic. The fish and batter are amazing! Thankyou Running Horse Look forward to our next visit and wish we lived closer otherwise you would be our regular Redlady

We were meant to be there for our Christmas works meal but something went wrong and they didn't have our booking as Christmas meal so we just had the normal menu. Great value during the week but the pub was almost empty apart from us. Thanks to the staff for their patience waiting for us to order 😉

Amazing pub, went for a Christmas party, the drinks were good value for money, and the burgers were great! A great spot in Newbury, well worth trying!

Extremely slow service Cookie dough so dry and so thin near enough burnt .they have no idea how to make a flat white , seemed like they gave me hot milk , no manager there to speak to

30 Radley Senior Golfers enjoyed a seasonal luncheon at the Boundary House yesterday. The food was good and served in a festive manner by very the attentive team! Despite having so many people to deal with at once the team managed very well. The pub was decorated beautifully which added to the festive cheer. Well done the Boundary team!

Stopped on route to Portsmouth Ferry Terminal for dinner. Lovely building. Friendly and welcoming. The food was superb. Very talented young chef.

What an exceptional experience! It’s one thing to order food with specific instructions, but for the chef to not only listen but masterfully execute a burger that completely exceeds expectations is extraordinary. The texture, flavors, and precise balance of seasoning and spice were exactly as I requested—perfection in every bite. I’ve officially found my go-to spot!
