Meal arrived quickly, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had Sunday roast which was very nice and plenty of it. We will return!

Horrendous, took half hour to get our first drink, 2 bar ladies in a sunny Saturday afternoon and the pub was packed so very short staffed. Not the bar ladies fault at all but one of the beers came in a filthy glass and I asked for a replacement in a clean glass to which one bar lady replied, all those glasses our stained we can't do anything about that...well when I'm paying £5+ a pint I expect it in a clean glass. The other bar lady overheard and said "well my coffee cup at home is filthy" .... What kind of excuse is that. Very unprofessional the pair of them,the landlord was walking around carrying food out while belching all over it (witnessed numerous times, not just once) the whole place is a shambles with poor management, and poorer staff. A cross between faulty towers and the conjuring

Nice pub, reasonable selection. Of beers, ciders etc. Food was OK, nothing special. Has lots of screens to watch sport.

Very dirty glasses the past few times I’ve come here had to ask for new ones and they have just put the dirty ones back under the bar without cleaning them.

Quiz Night Booked for the quiz. This was obviously a popular night. Glad we booked as every table seemed a buzz with eager teams. The quiz master Karen was excellent she made the night with her witty banter and ensured everyone was made to feel they were all part of the fun. We would definitely recommend this as a night out for everyone.

Have had a few meals in Greene Kings in Abingdon and this has been the best one. The staff are very lovely and helpful especially Emma.

Just got back from a lovely meal and had a table of 16 for a birthday booked. We had pre ordered food, so when everyone was there, I just asked at the bar to pop the order through. It came out really quickly and lovely and hot. No problems at all with the food everyone was happy.The waitress we had went above and beyond. She was fantastic. I didn't cath her name sadly, but she was great, organised getting the cakes brought out and rounded the kids up from outside so they didn't miss the cake coming out. Thank you for a lovely night.

Staff are always very polite and welcoming however the food was really not good at all. The chicken strips which are £8.99 were clearly frozen and what seemed like they were from Iceland with just mushy filling that wasn’t chicken at all, just really low budget. The sirloin steak was terrible too and the steak knife just wasn’t going through it properly even though it was medium/rare.

Visited the pub today, had a wonderful lunch meal with myself my daughter and neice. Very family friendly pub. Service was brilliant too, staff were also polite. I truly recomment this place if you wanted a family friendly place and a nice meal:)

Good location and easy to find. Decent parking at the back of the pub. Service was quick and the food was very good. The lady who served us was very friendly and it's her 40th in two weeks so if you're there at the end of January get her a drink in...!

Attended a Radley Golf end of year Xmas lunch yesterday and had a 3 course meal. There were 30 people attended and the overall quality of the food was very good. The staff were attentive and it was a very enjoyable experience.

30 Radley Senior Golfers enjoyed a seasonal luncheon at the Boundary House yesterday. The food was good and served in a festive manner by very the attentive team! Despite having so many people to deal with at once the team managed very well. The pub was decorated beautifully which added to the festive cheer. Well done the Boundary team!

Great afternoon with 30 golfing mates for Christmas meals. Staff friendly and quick, meals great value and quantity. Pretty sure everyone in are group enjoyed the afternoon 👍

Meet a friend for lunch but only 2 other people there when I arrived, so I thought perhaps it wasn't going to be good. However, it soon filled up and became busy. Very friendly staff and very quick service. Greene King menu, so standard choices but served nice and hot and good flavour. Gluten-free and children's meus available. The dining area is set up with a good amount of room between tables, so it's not too overcrowded. Good amount of parking and easy accessible for wheelchairs.

The website says it opens at 10 for breakfast. A group of us turned up at 10.30 only to find it shut. Eventually someone came to the door and told us they don't open until lunchtime.

Visited yesterday. Food was much better than when I last went. Although on arrival there were no staff around for minutes, so we found our reserved table ourselves. Then staff told us off saying “You can’t just seat yourself, what if the booking was for another <name> at this time. You need to check in next time” and she stormed off. Bit rude, I mean we stood around for minutes trying to check in. If staff weren’t chatting out the back, maybe your processes would work!! Annoyed me a bit. Always have issues here. It’s never just a pleasant, easy experience.

Visited today with out two Grand Children, made very welcomed, and staff went out it their way to make Grand Children welcome. Food was prompt and enjoyable, again Grandchildren’s desserts exceptional. Thank you and we will be back

We came here tonight with some of our family we all said we had a lovely evening together and all our meals and our grandchildren meals were nice our Daughters said it was a nice place to bring their children and have a family meal together inside and outside. All the staff were friendly helpful and polite nice time we all had and would come here all together again

Staff were rude to my colleagues for ordering separately and gave them dirty looks for not speaking perfect English. EDIT: came in today and there was only 2 staff on the bar so they were struggling however we ordered to the table and had to come up and get our drinks. My mother was waiting and asked for the drink she ordered and someone asked for proof exclaiming “we don’t just give free drinks away without proof” even though they weren’t free as we’d ordered. Also heard a lot of swearing out of frustration, incredible unprofessional

We came here for our wedding reception. Alex, Karen and the staff couldn’t have been more obliging and welcoming. The food was amazing- it was really warm, so Kudos to the bar and kitchen team. Thank you for making our special day so great. Love, Ian and Tom xxx

A bowl of soup plus bread. The bowl of soup was only 1 inch deep. Waitress and chef were surprised when we asked for more! It was topped up somewhat but hardly worth the money at £5.

We pre ordered the food for our residents monthly lunch out we’ve been several times and each time is got gradually worse regards service and getting the food out to us. However today was a joke, we had to wait 45 mins for our starters then 20 mins for the mains and the volunteers ended up clearing the tables service was appalling. We got some sort of apology saying that everyone came in at once we hang on a minute we pre ordered but the kitchen decided to serve others whilst our poor elderly residents were kept waiting. We won’t be going back for our lunches. Avoid going big parties you’ll be kept waiting an age.

Excellent Green King Pub. we all had a really wonderful family visit. The food was great quality and lovely and hot. We received Fantastic Service especially by MITCHELL who was under pressure due to circumstances beyond his control. Mitchel who served our food was very welcoming, friendly and extremely efficient and a credit to this establishment. Sam and the rest of the bar staff were also great. General impression was OK. We got a table in the quieter part of the pub and the menu was reasonable and reasonably priced. However, I was a bit disappointed by the cleanliness of the cutlery and especially the glasses. Luckily I was drinking a canned beer and was able to see how dirty the glasses were. The third glass was just about acceptable but still not good. I would suggest they need to increase the temperature of the wash or wash longer!

First time visiting here really good experience food was amazing and staff were great above and beyond for the customers i greeted at the door asked if meal was OK a great experience will definitely return tracey was very nice

Really lovely visit today. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Everything was in stock, reasonably priced and service was great. Food all lovely, nothing missing or forgotten either. Child friendly (although we would have loved colouring but not all places have that). Ps my dessert was amazing! (See photo!) I’ve not visited in years due to moving to Bicester but happened to be in the area again today- will be back for sure. Thanks!

Me and my children visited on the weekend and I can’t beleive how outstanding the service was think her name was Sarah, she understood I have really bad anxiety and made me feel very comfortable it’s the best experience I’ve had somewhere in a while I’ll definitely come back!

Lovely pub and some wonderful staff , however I came in contact with a staff slim blonde hair from the time I got there she was giving attitude , I play no mind I said it's busy, however she and a guy came out with our food trying to explain to her 106 was a wrong table it's 101 she kept on paying us no attention, the guy listen and brought the food I said firmly it's our table , immediately she mumble I ask what did you say , she was like don't take it out on us what she's speaking about I don't know , after that she went on each table telling customers bad things about me and my family, she wasn't stopping , family came to sit close to us and she started lying telling them don't make noise etc we don't like it immediately responded to family and said there is no issue you can laugh and enjoy yourself it's a bar. They immediately said they know her and that's the usual. I think they just felt bad for us but I honestly think it's Because we were black, I went back to get some napkins and she was still lying to one of her staff member thick short guy and he refused to attend to me , however there are other wonderful staff there and I got the napkins from him and explain what they did he even point out he made the table correction because he was the same staff took the order...

Came for breakfast at 11.10 as the website says serving food. Got settled in with kids in tow to be informed they aren't serving food until 12. Clearly says in the website that food should be available from the time we were there.

The food and redecorated interior were the only redeeming features unfortunately. We were greeted by a particularly grumpy man, who told me they don't serve what I ordered...and then when I pointed at the label told me it wasn't the name of the beer, but their motto?! He then proceeded to say "it won't be, I'm working here today" when we left and said have a nice day. Updated 21/4/24 Much better service today, and a great atmosphere...clearly was having a bad day last time!

Visited here with a friend. We chose the Burger if the Week which was the Triple Signature. Amazing taste and cooked perfectly, dripping with moisture. Connor was our server and he was very attentive. Thanks for the lovely meal.

Just passing through on our way home to France and spotted the Boundary House so thought we'd stop for lunch. A warm welcome from Mitchell... then food brought to us by Tracey. Amazing customer service from both of them... if you're the manager reading this, make sure you hold on to these 2! And to top it all, another member of the team (who we had had no contact with) came over to check everything was OK. The food really was good (vegetarian chilli) as was the beer. Thank you very much for making our last day in the UK memorable.

MY Wife & I booked a table for a Brunch at 11a.m. on a Sunday, when we arrived, a grey haired old man behind the bar, we thought aggressively, said: "Can I help you?" We informed him we had made a reservation for brunch to which he was virtually apoplectic, & with a physically demonstrative manner declared: "we do not serve food till 12!" A very unpleasant experience. Why take bookings & have a brunch (Breakfast/Lunch) menu that starts at midday? The Manager needs to remind that guy, its a hospitality business, not a hostility business.

I would like to give a massive shout out to the Boundary house. The young man that is always behind the bar (I’m ashamed I don’t know his name) is an absolute delight. He makes every single person feel like they are the most important customer. He is cheerful and so helpful. I have been bringing my Mym and my uncle (who are both in their 80s ) to this pub for over a year. We had a break for the refurbishment but we are back and living it. My mum does not eat out generally as she is scared of large portions and is a very anxious person. The lady that serves us every time , with long dark hair, is the nicest server I have ever met. These two employees run a busy lunch time service as a crew of two front of house and I kid you not, there no stress or bluster and they seem to do the work if 10. The food is superb quality, beautifully presented and hot! I really wanted to take the time to tell you about the staff at this pub because if I lived nearer I would be there all the time. My uncle now visits with friends and having lost his wife a year ago, this pub is now his go to place to have a great meal with friends and companionship. You should value these staff as they make this beautiful pub a great pub. Thanks
