Kings Arms

Bagshot, Surrey Heath
15/07/2020: First post covid curry night still just as delicious and good value felt totally safe and comfortable well done mark and the team
15/07/2020: We had a lovely welcome from Josh who explained about how we could order. We wanted to sit outside so ordered on the Greene King Ap which was very easy. Had great service from Steph who was very friendly. Thank you for a great evening. We will be back

Jenny's Restaurant

Town, Surrey Heath, 30-45£
02/03/2020: Really good eggs, service good too. Could be a little more inviting with the layout. Overall good experience.
17/02/2020: A good basic cafe but with lots of choice, good portions, good food and decent prices. Too many places trying to get too fancy but a good full breakfast in a place like this is always good.

Hare and Hounds

West End, Surrey Heath
22/07/2020: We telephoned this pub as needed somewhere close by Woking Crem to hold an unofficial wake. Right from the first phone call, the staff were really friendly, explaining that they could absolutely accommodate us and put us at ease. We booked and were very pleased. Friendly and efficient table service. The pizzas were incredible and just what we needed after an emotional tiring morning (having driven from Dorset). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub - and when we're next in the area we will be back. Thank you to you and your staff.
09/05/2020: A lovely takeaway fish and chips on a Friday night all in line with social distancing guidelines. Massive portion of fish with crispy batter, a good portion of chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce. All for a very reasonable price.Look forward to returning for a pint in the beer garden at some point!

The White Hart

Chobham, Surrey Heath
20/07/2020: Every time we have visited, the service and food have been outstanding Extremely professional establishment which you will always get no matter which day of the week you visit. The food is consistently good and great for meeting family and friends as it’s so picturesque
14/07/2020: We were really looking forward to eating out after months of eating in - so booked The White Hart as we know it well. The changes made were excellent and made us feel welcome but safe. One way system clearly marked, hand sanitizer when entering and leaving, less tables, menus used once, salt, pepper and cutlery delivered on a tray, as were drinks. QR code on tables which we used to order and pay. Slightly different menu and the chicken burger was delicious. Thanks team - we will be back.

The Surrey Cricketers

Windlesham, Surrey Heath, <20£
24/07/2020: Came with a friend for a drink. Staff very welcoming, made us feel very comfortable. Food looked amazing. Will defiantly be back again soon to eat!
21/07/2020: Food was delicious and service was amazing. Best pub in Windlesham. The garden was lit up and filled with lovely people.

The Sun Inn

Chobham, Surrey Heath
29/03/2020: There was eight of us for dinner on a Monday night so as expected there were not many people in the place. There were three other tables with people. We parked right outside, just managing to pull up at the right time when another car was leaving. There is a car park but inevitably it is limited and must be ever so busy at other times if is full on a Monday night. We had a nice table of 8 just by the glass behind which is the kitchen. The top half is clear, and the bottom half is frosted so you can’t see through it. If it is going to have glass I think the whole thing should be clear glass. What are they afraid of us seeing? We all had starters and mains, and a couple of us had a dessert too. The food was good, everyone enjoyed what they had. Service was good, but there weren’t many tables to serve. It was also friendly too, which is good.A nice pub doing good food with good service.
10/03/2020: Overpriced poorly executed dishes. The mushroom fricasee was more like soup and fortunately the waitress noticed and bought us spoons, tasty but very watery and masses of garlic. The paella was dry and tasteless, best item was the red mullet on the top but the rest was poor. The rest of the diners didn’t fare much better. The curry is tasty but vegetable free and therefore looks very one dimensional in colour. The fish cake was small with no accompanying sides. Could do better

The Inn @ West End

West End, Surrey Heath, 45-60£
22/03/2020: Well done inn@Westend during these trying times just had a Mother’s Day takeaway very tasty good value thank you for your efforts
16/03/2020: At the moment, there is a superb selection of daily specials. If they were put together as a set menu including a bottle of wine at 18 euro, you'd swear you were travelling through France and had stopped at a Routier. But this is Surrey so dig a bit deeper and fork out £80 for two for apperitives, kedgeree, braised steak, pancakes, and pinot noir. Sounds simple but one of the finest meals I've ever had in 25 years patronage. Sorry Gerry, even better than your chefs.

The Bear

Town, Surrey Heath
08/03/2020: A real nice place to go. The atmosphere is perfect for the pub, the staf are very professsional and welcoming and the food is delicious. Would recommend.
17/02/2020: We wanted to meet friends in Camberley as it was equi-distant for us both. The Bear looked good because of the menu. From the outside, it's not the charming country pub that you perhaps's in the middle of a shopping centre and didn't necessarily look like somewhere you'd rush to go..... but don't be fooled by the outside....once inside, the welcome was warm, the service was excellent, the menu was substantial and the quality of the food was extremely good. The Sunday roasts were delicious. So give it a try..... it's not a posh and fancy gastro pub, it's just an honest British pub that does decent food and the staff know how to keep customer's happy. What more could you possibly need?

LUNNS Catering The Foresters Arms

Bagshot, Surrey Heath
11/05/2020: Just had a takeaway burger meal. It was honestly the Best thing I’ve ever tasted. If you want a quality burger then it’s here. No where else does it better
08/05/2020: Just had a fantastic take away “Foresters burger” with a bottle! Excellent service in troubled times!

Deepcut Cafe

Mytchett and Deepcut, Surrey Heath

Silver Sea

Frimley Green, Surrey Heath

The Four Horseshoes

Chobham, Surrey Heath
25/07/2020: Just days after being released from lockdown we were treated to lovely food and service. COVID rules were strictly followed and observed which was reassuring. First time visit here and will be returning
18/07/2020: Service was a tiny bit shaky, as we returned to the Four Horseshoes for perhaps the tenth time, a week post lockdown easing, last Sunday. But the Sunday roast was as delicious as ever, with a sauce you would kill for the recipe for. Overhearing the owner talking to fellow diners, it sounded - like everyone - that it had been a worrying time. But thank you for re-opening and catering to us. A mix up over a salad proved beneficial, with clearly more effort going into the ingredients to satisfy the customer

Brasserie at Pennyhill Park

Bagshot, Surrey Heath, 30-45£
27/02/2020: See my hotel review for details - food ok, staff not so good - the lead waiter had a body odour problem which was truly horrific. When I asked to sign the bill - I was dealt with by a really nice well mannered young lad, however as soon as I walked off his associate (she was the only lady) rather abruptly told me in no uncertain terms that I should sign the bill before leaving (which I had just done). I don't mind being asked it was the manner in which the lady asked that made me feel uncomfortable.
23/02/2020: Over the years we have used this restaurant many times and always had a good experience with both food and service.. However today we have just had Sunday lunch with friends and were left hugely disappointed all round. The food was lacklustre and disappointingly cold. It was also lacking somewhat in choice especially in terms of the desserts. The service was totally non-existent. There were only two young waiters on duty for quite large and, ultimately, busy restaurant so the clearing of tables and attention to your drinks needs i.e. pouring the wine was a case of do it yourself or nothing at all. They were both very personable, nice young lads who were overwhelmed by the number of large parties present. The only saving grace was the jazz band were totally on form . The cost has gone up but the service and quality has gone down massively and, to to be honest, it was a lot of money for a very disappointing experience. We will not be coming here again in the near future

The Goose

Town, Surrey Heath

old wheatsheaf

Frimley Green, Surrey Heath
06/03/2020: My wife and i enjoyed a pleasant evening at the wheatsheaf and the food was good we will definately return again when we are in the area thankyou.
23/02/2020: A quiet pub in a quiet village and the clientele match the location Been here on a few occasions and the food was decentToday was the first time that we made a visit on a Sunday, so we figured we would try their Mixed Meat RoastFor £11.99, we had high expectations Maybe that’s the problem, because you don’t get too much veg on your plate and the slices of meat were so thinly sliced, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were being fed a child’s mealWould I come back...yes...but not on a Sunday
