Riviera Restaurant

Selsey South, Chichester
19/08/2018: We had planned a day out in Southsea and Selsey, and I wanted to ensure we had somewhere nice to eat so did a lot of research and this place seemed perfect- and it was. The welcome, the efficient staff and customer service, the setting and atmosphere as well as the food was honestly faultless.
18/08/2018: Visited this week with family and friends- excellent service - lovely food - very helpful staff - I would recommend

The Crate and Apple

Chichester West, Chichester, 20-30£
15/08/2018: We searched throughout the day in central Chichester to find a quality Restaurant or Pub to celebrate my wife's birthday and came across this place close to the centre. We visited on a Monday night and we were delighted with our choice. The food was equivalent of a high class restaurant and very well presented. My hake rapped in parma ham was exceptional. Wine menu was good from which we choose a white Rioja. Service was excellent and anybody staying in Chichester should not miss this delightful experience.
12/08/2018: Lovely lunch today beef and lamb amazing good wine staff where great fabulous atmosphere best roast in town

The George

Chichester North, Chichester, 20-30£
17/08/2018: Four of us had lunch.Bread and olives boring.Whitebait delicious.Belly of pork tasty but rubbery crackling, liver and bacon a bit ordinary, pie very good. Denby red wine not available but told Bolney.noir could be the same price .It was £5 more and should have been offered at a reduced price as a goodwill gesture. Overall disappointing, lovely restaurant, comfortable table and chairs, slow service.
14/08/2018: I have heard many good things about this place for a few years now, and I was definitely not disappointed. Nice beer garden surrounded by trees for a private feel, service was excellent and one of the female waiters (possibly one of the owners) was very friendly. One of the waiters called Roger was an incredibly friendly and helpful chap.

The Boulevard

East Wittering, Chichester, <20£
29/08/2018: Having been before our friend took us to the Boulevard, it was very full .and i thought it would that ages to get our meal, well that soon passed as our food was presented in a very short time ,very pleased with the food and the quality service,, i don,t know how it was done, because i have been in the restaurant trade, in one of the busy sites of the uk, so to say i was impressed takes first prize.well done to the management and the staff, well worth a visit ,you will not be dissapointed.
27/08/2018: Been here twice both very busy food pretty good and prices competitive nice family restaurant will visit again soon

The Berkeley Arms

Bosham, Chichester, <20£
27/08/2018: Booked last minute birthday meal with the family. Were very welcoming, letting us take the dog into the pub.Catered to my gluten and dairy intolerance perfectly, offering a full gluten free menu. The chef also came out and made me a dessert which was not on the menu but which I could eat. Also helped put the candles on the dessert for my birthday. Altogether, really friendly atmosphere and staff which went out of their way to help.
27/08/2018: The Berkeley Arms is a good down to earth honest pub no pretention, good beer good food good company.

The Lickfold Inn

The Gribble Inn

North Mundham, Chichester
12/08/2018: Great friendly pub with well kept real beer that goes down far too easily. Friendly helpful staff and delicious food. They also do smaller portions which is great when you fancy something, but know you can't eat a whole meal. Highly recommend the beeramasu for dessert too. All round fab pub and restaurant
11/08/2018: Im writing to say how good value the burger was at £13. I would say this was very average for a for the area with salad and excellent home made chips. My wife had the fish and chips which was also very good in fact all the food looked good value

The Fox Goes Free

Boxgrove, Chichester, <20£
17/08/2018: Having eaten here a number of times before, we decided to come here to eat for my fathers 60th birthday. The service was incredibly slow, the pub clearly were almost bursting with the number of dinner guests and we even had to ask to move tables , due to a table next door to us of hooray Henry’s being incredibly loud. We had to chase our main courses a number of times even after the waitress eventually came over and asked, are we still waiting for our mains, she had also forgotten the wine we had ordered. Eventually the mains came, and all was a little bit dry and over done, something not experienced before at this pub.
17/08/2018: There is a car park, as well as ample roadside parking. There is a large outdoor garden area, for summer weather and for the nicotine addicted.

Gartons Coffee House

Midhurst, Chichester, <20£
28/08/2018: We stopped whilst cycling for a great lunch. The food was good and was served quickly and politely. This is a great place to stop just off the main street. The setting is great in a old square and therefore great to sit outside
09/08/2018: Lovely place, lovely people, lovely food and - coffee! Sorry our kids made a bit of a mess but the staff were great. Thank you...

The Stag Inn

Petworth, Chichester, >100£
29/08/2018: I loved it here, so friendly and welcoming to my kids and the roast Beef was awesome! Really lovely management & Staff and to top it off the Cook gave our dog a little bit of beef from the kitchen, we give it top marks!
28/08/2018: Excellent beer and a good quality pub menu. Not cheap but also not expensive. Also not to OTT when it come to choice of food.

The Hollist Arms

Easebourne, Chichester, 30-45£
25/08/2018: Popped in with my wife on a Saturday lunchtime. Pub virtually empty but they didn't know if they had space to serve us. Cold welcome so we walked out and found a far superior friendly pub down the road. The Halfway House- go there instead.
14/08/2018: We returned to the Hollist Arms as we had enjoyed our previous visits, it’s had a bit of a make over so it looks nice and fresh, the staff were equally as friendly as before although I think they maybe new?

The White Horse

Bury, Chichester
26/08/2018: Had to post to say THANK YOU. Chris, Will and all the staff that we encountered on our stay (that due to family illness was 'cut short' by one night) were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The room was exquisite as was the fabulous bath. The food was divine and the wine chilled to perfection. We were 'robbed' of our full stay by circumstance but be sure when life calms down a tad we will be returning to 'conclude' our White Horse adventure <3
17/08/2018: This is a delightful country inn with a terrific menu, especially if you like seafood. Good value for money and a lovely ambiance. Staff are friendly and attentive without being in any way intrusive and the food is simply delicious. Highly recommended
