Visited with friends for lunch and ordered the baked camembert as shared starter with the truffle mac n cheese for main. Absolutely delicious, it was just a shame I had to share the starter!! The mac n cheese had the perfect amount of truffle, not over-powering and presented beautifully! Lovely buzzy atmosphere - feel like we have discovered a real little gem on the Midhurst High Street! We will be back!!

Having recently undergone a change in management and kitchen staff l was interested to see what this would be like? I am pleased to be able to recommend this place for a drink and some good quality food. We had a mix of starters and main courses (including halloumi fries, pardon peppers, venison and mushroom pie and truffle Mac & Cheese) and if empty plates is anything to go by we all enjoyed our meals! This establishment is on a journey and the passion to please demonstrated by the staff, should be applauded and supported! Give it a go!

Located on the high street, had dinner for 8 on a Saturday night. Service was very slow. Took ages to get our order in so two courses took 2.5 hours. The starters of prawn and calamari was below average. Prawn on bread is blend. Calamari looked like it came out of a pre battered preparation. The mains of fish was good. Accompaniments was average . The rack of lamb looked good. Mark up for wine ok- just need more decent wine selection . Interior minimalist.

Amazing service and food at Red H. We had previously dined in the Haslemere restaurant, which has sadly closed. But the Red H in Midhurst is still going strong. Lovely meal and service, the proprietor was there and kept us entertained and fed. Felt really welcome.

Another excellent lunch at Red H. Great menu choices and lovely atmosphere. The manager is so friendly and love the fact that dogs are allowed in. Amusing to see the two resident cats just stolling around. Always a great place to eat. Cocktail list is good, try the Bakewell Blitz, lip smacking good !

This is the best restaurant in Midhurst, bar none. I know the town well and I am very glad that Red.h has been going from strength to strength. As well as the excellent selection of beers and delicious lunch menu, I can highly recommend the espresso, and the ice cream by the scoop.

Three of us had a lovely lunch in the pretty courtyard garden. We all chose the bread basket to have alongside the Caprese salad of mozzarella, tomatoes and avocado salsa, both of which were perfect in every way. We followed with delicious homemade cherry ice cream. Lovely staff and impeccable service. Well worth a visit to this gem in Midhurst High Street.

Great food, great staff, great value. What more can you ask for? Well worth a visit, the garden is a hidden gem in the heart of Midhurst.

Had a great birthday lunch, in the garden. Food was delicious, and the service was excellent. A party of 3, plus 3 dogs, we ordered 3 starters,and mentioned we would share. Without prompting they brought out additional plates. Plus water bowl for the dogs. My steak was perfect, as was the prawn salad, and prawn linguine. Lovely choice of ice creams too!

Fantastic place. Great menu, cocktails and service. And a large eat in garden to boot. Often recommend guests to come here and never disappointed

We had yet another lovely dinner here tonight with friends and were so well looked after by Mimmo and his team. The food is delicious and atmosphere always so welcoming. Lovely garden out the back too, and they also serve a really delicious and great value breakfast in the mornings - a real gem in Midhurst!

Fun spot with great food and a really humorous and fun owner / chef! My husband had the Spanish Fish stew which was amazing with large pieces of fish and seafood in his meal. My meatball dish was tasty and authentic Both of our wines red and white) were really good and complimented the meal well My husband enjoyed a really good tiramasu for dessert and I couldnt decide between salted caramel ice cream (my all time favourite!) and the homemade cherry ice cream so the owner was kind enough to bring me out a sample of each ... the cherry won and it was really delicious with cherry sauce ribbons running through with large chunks of cherries in there as well Great value for money and it seemed like a lot of the locals were regulars there and enjoyed coming back time and time again!

Lovely casual restaurant, enjoyed a birthday lunch yesterday. The staff were really friendly. A good menu on offer, the food was excellent and generous in portion sizes. I was even given a little birthday dessert at the end. Will definitely be going back.
