The Boulevard in Chichester

We had not long arrived in East Wittering for a weekend away with the family and were looking for a bite to eat before checking into our accommodation. We came across The Boulevard whilst exploring the town and having a stroll down to the sea. We enjoyed a delicious lunch, all so fresh and arrived quickly. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The staff were superb and we were very well looked after by Kate and Ollie. We will be back for sure! Thank you!

I’ve been coming here for around 20 years. Never once had a bad meal or experience, the food is always amazing and very generous portions, the staff waiting tables are always so efficient and professional and so so friendly. The guys in the kitchen produce amazing meals hot and really well presented everytime. Keep up the great work and I look forward to continuing supporting you and feeding my belly for years to come. We stopped for an impromptu bite to eat at the Boulevard Restaurant and were extremely happy with the food and the staff who were polite and accommodating. Will be coming back!

It’s the Boulevard, Mexican burger was fair in spice, Heavy on the bacon!!! Chips were perfect and hot!!! Hot was Hot , Cold was cold, Beer was delicious and clean glasses!!! Great taste!!!! Eat here!!! Now!!!

Had fish and chips. Hard, tasteless chips and hard batter on the fish. Bread and butter Pudding also poor. Would not visit again. Staff friendly.

Without a doubt the best jacket potato I have ever eaten, and the salad garnish was absolutely delicious too. Just popped in here on the off chance and will definitely be back!

Excellent breakfast venue. We sat outside in the sunshine, 15 September. Good choice of breakfast options, delivered in good time. We had the Boulevard Breakfast at £10. Get the fried bread! took me back a few years. Flat white coffee ok but not quite right, too much foam in the milk 🤣.

Good traditional seaside food. Very busy when we visited, so staff were a bit rushed off their feet.

So expensive for what you get . I had a jacket potato . It was hard and not cooked through . I had a raspberry milkshake , expensive , and you could hardly taste the raspberry . It was really a glass of milk . Won’t be returning .

Needed somewhere to eat after a day on the beach. The Boulevard came highly recommended and I can see why. Very friendly staff and the food was superb. Portion sizes very generous, so much so that I couldn't have a dessert (which was a real shame as there looked a fantastic choice). Would definitely recommend if you are the area.

We were happy to wait a while for a table as it’s great to be able to go somewhere very dog friendly. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. We had the fish and chips- my third time eating there and it was, as it has always been in previous visits, superb.

Good prices, big portions of food.

Very busy place on a Friday evening but the staff are extremely efficient, the meal came out really quickly and the haddock and chips were exceptional, hot, tasty and plentiful - fabulous place to eat on a visit to East Wittering, well done to all the staff for making it a well run place.

Got several dishes for takeaway to the beach since we were in a hurry and the place was busy. The staff was very nice, however they were instructed to charge extra for ketchup and mayo packets. I can't tell you how much I paid for the fish and chips or burgers, but I can tell you that a packet of ketchup is 10p and you need to pay separately. That is absurd and really spoils the experience, we won't be back.

Stopped here this evening as they currently have a 4.7 google rating and several people had mentioned how good the fish and chips were. We were not disappointed, the cod and haddock fish and chips were truly excellent. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, bringing my daughter a blanket when it got cold (we were sitting outside). The dog loves it too! Their rating should be 5 out of 5.

yesterday I was delighted ... staff were excellent, all elements of my food order were outstandingly good quality plus in timely fashion. it set me up for a great day in the area.

We have been going here all week ordering food for my kids and alcohol for me and the partner and getting the best service with smiles. All of a sudden we go in there on our last night before we go home from our holiday and the lady that served us was rude and told us we wasn't aloud to drink any alcohol unless we ordered food for ourselves as well as the kids. The way she said it was so obnoxious and rude will never go again due to her being there

We visited with our family and had an amazing experience. Our favorite part was the homemade dessert. However, the portions were a bit small; larger portions would have made it even better.

This is our second trip here, great food, great host, great service, the Gluten Free menu is awesome and the cater towards a wide range of allergies. Really nice place... The cater towards families and children superbly.

We popped in for Sunday lunch on spec. Staff were polite & attentive, although the restaurant was very busy, they sorted us out with a table in quick time. Food was hot & the portions very generous. A very enjoyable experience, highly recommended.

I’ve been living in England 19 years now and i can safely say that The Boulevard’s breakfast was superb. The service was second to none and the breakfast was a taste sensation. I would happily recommend The Boulevard at the very least for their breakfast.

Reasonably priced quality restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. A nice range of family favourites and more interesting options. Chicken and ham pie was rammed with meat and very tasty.

Really good lunch at The Boulevard, service was good and quick. Both had fish and chips and the portions were generous, especially the chips. Can tell the chips were home made, they were beautifully done. Fish had skin on too, massive positive. Proper fish and chips!

The Boulevard had a very varied menu, including some excellent daily specials. They serve really well cooked quality food at very reasonable prices. There is a choice of inside or terrace dining and the staff are great! There is no parking at the restaurant, but there is a large pay and display car park about a 2 minute walk away.

Only place to eat when in Wittering. Huge range of food and great lack of portion control.

We have been using this restaurant for many years and have always enjoyed a great meal there .But today we had the most horrid lunch we have ever had anywhere my wife had Chicken pie and vegetables.i had steak and ale pie with chips and peas.both pies were ice cold but my chips were lovely. My wife's Veg was just about passable but her pie was the worst concoction I have ever seen Sorry to say after looking forward to a great Lunch at one of our favourite places We will Never go there again

Although the food is still good the prices have rocketed since Covid and the portions are now smaller we had 2 chicken and bacon salads just basic it was £33!!! Unfortunately won’t be returning too expensive now not value for money it’s a shame.

Fantastic home cooked food, can't fault it.

So nobody gets up here hungry. 😉 The portions are really big and the food is down-to-earth, but really good. The service was very friendly and took great care of us finding a place for 8 people.

We were recommended here by a local and have absolutely no regrets - so much we used it both nights of our stay. Food was excellent and home cooked, and the service was and prices were fantastic. A special thumbs up to Ellie our waitress for fantastic service and attention.

Having read the online reviews we went to try this restaurant as 2 of my sons are Celiac and the service and food was amazing! A whole menu that was gluten free my boys loved it! Thank you!

Lovely staff, great food, nice location. Plenty of free parking in the area. No idea if you can reserve a table, but it's popular even in the winter so might be worth checking.

Nice place, we always go here when we come down, food is decent-gets very busy, and service can sometimes be affected but no reflection on staff as they always are great when they are not rushed off their feet! The mixed grill is awesome, as are the milk shakes! Would give this place a strong B+

The restaurant was heaving with customers on a Mothering Sunday morning, but we were lucky not to have a wait for a table, and were offered a choice. Service was quick, efficient, with friendly servers, making us feel welcome. Our cooked breakfasts came with plenty of choices, and everything was cooked nicely. Our two full English included our hot drinks, and I appreciated the option of oat milk for my cappuccino . The coffee was lovely and the value for money was amazing at under £20 for 2.

Stopped by for a cuppa ended up with fish and chips (no idea how that happened 😁). Delicious, but the main two points are: they understood and were very good when I mentioned my allergies. And the service from Jodi was brilliant. She was bright and shiny, very smiley, super efficient and didn’t make a big deal of the allergies which can be in some places leaving you feeling you stick out like a sore thumb. 10/10 for her.

Busy cafe on the road to the sea. There is also a covered outside seating area to the side. We only had teas and shared a sandwich but this was nice. The menu has a very wide choice. Prices are a bit on the high side, but service was good, even though the cafe was almost full of customers.

Was looking for somewhere to get lunch on a cold windy December day - found the Boulevard open and very busy - waited short time for table and ordered the pensioners fish & chips with free cup of tea - had to wait a while but when it arrived it was lovely - hot and tasty and very good value - staff all friendly

Outstanding in all areas. We arrived around 11am on New Year's Eve whilst mooching around East Wittering for some breakfast and were lucky to stumble upon this place. Although busy, we were seated within a couple of minutes by very jolly staff. The breakfast choices were excellent (I went for the "boulevard" signature version) and very well priced. Service was prompt and our breakfast arrived in minutes. The quality of produce was excellent and plenty of it. One of my frequent pet peeves is waiting around for the bill when I've finished however here, they were very attentive and efficient. Would definitely come here again if in the area and highly recommend.

We were a large group of 10 people and visited on a busy Saturday (today). Staff were welcoming, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were served with efficiency and warmth. The hot, fresh food came quickly and the portions were generous. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and finished everything. Staff checked on us a couple of times to make sure that everything was OK. This was my first visit to The Boulevard, on recommendation of one of our group, but it certainly won't be the last. Can't recommend it enough. Bravo to all the staff that were working today.

This place never fails . beautiful food

Food very good, but sometimes not hot enough, as found in a couple of occasions, good offer of a free drink before 12pm on breakfasts, not being picky, , but some of the younger generations need to concentrate more on serving customers & not talking to each other as much when you are waiting for service, being more alert would be great, as last week a couple walked out after waiting for he said 15 mins in front of us, but overall good, Regards Rob.....
