That sounds delightful! Here's a review based on your experience: --- **Review: Sunday Roast** I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a Sunday roast at the two brewers, and it was an exceptional experience. The meat was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth. The potatoes were a highlight as well, being wonderfully fluffy and light with traditional veg which was excellent. Overall, the meal offered great value for money, making it a highly satisfying dining experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hearty and delicious Sunday meal.

These ‘sharing nachos’ were £14.50 with cinema-style cheese sauce instead of sour cream. That’s all I have to say - staff acknowledged the misely portion and said head office were focussing on high quality ingredients. It’s crisps and cheese.

Alright pub but food was pretty bad for the price. Tasted okay but absolutely nowhere near the price we paid for it and was also not as described on the menu. Service was slow and we were told there were no potatoes left for the roast after we had already ordered and paid. Would stay away from the food for that price.

Traditional pub, staff all seem nice. The sunday lunch though is very substandard. Damp veg - potatoes and parsnips. Not crispy and inviting but more like school dinners. Beef well over cooked. Not a hint of red in sight. And the beef pie was pale on top and had a chewy filling. I hope someone walks through the steps to improve the food as its a great location. And dog friendly. (Roasties and snips - crispie and hot. Beef - red and unctious!!!)

Horrendous! loud music, playing on arrival, we like meatloaf but not at 150 DD at lunch time! We asked for menus to order food and also asked if the music could be turned down a little. However, reply was - we would be like weatherspoons- so no! Unfortunately we decided to leave and so did others, bar staff/management were extremely nontulant and unhelpful. Disappointed as I have been to Windsor Two Brewers, which was amazing! Frequently visit Marlow and will never go back to The Two Brewers!

Booked Sunday lunch 10 of us ( special occasion) plus baby Lovely little pub for drinks only . Waited an hour and half for Sunday roast because I had 5 allergens ! After an hour asked for food and was told it’s being plated up . Waiting another 1/2 hour then food appeared. Whilst I appreciate the attention to allergies I have never had to wait an hour and a half for a Sunday roast or any other food for that matter . Very disappointed and will not be returning for food. No mention of a discount after waiting so long . Cost of food and drinks £314 🙄

I took my kids there and paid for the kids meal (main and desert). When we finished the main course we went to the bar to order the deserts. The person serving us said we could not have the deserts unless I paid extra. No sensible reason given. Something like he could not give them to us as it would effect the ordering / or he couldn’t do it on the till. We ordered the same way a few days earlier. He stood his ground despite the food being paid for. Not the end of the world but pretty annoying for the kids. We have seen this pub change hands numerous times over the years. Most locals go elsewhere and so will we now. Sorry to moan publicly but no one could be bothered to reply to my e-mail.

The team seemed nice, I was sceptical about eating here after reading the reviews on trip advisor but thought we’d try it. I would not visit again as the reviews stating that the food is not good are correct. We arrived at midday for our booking and were seated promptly. We had pre booked an afternoon tea for two. The first tray of food arrived and was not as described - pre grated mozzarella filled one sandwich which should have been the taw valley cheddar sandwich, the chicken and bacon open sandwich was not open, and the jolly hog had the same bacon used in the chicken and bacon non open sandwich. The sandwiches looked very basic and thrown together, and seemed thrown onto the cake stand. The scones were warm and nice. The chocolate brownies were lovely, the mini apple doughnuts were not mini or apple, they were regular ring doughnuts chopped in half. The mini rhubarb and custard sundae was ice cream which some spray cream on top - the description of this dessert on the main menu was far from what we received.

Premium prices for Wetherspoons-standard food and service. Menus were sticky. Had to use an app to order - drinks then didn't arrive and had to be chased. Apparently the drinks order went through to the kitchen rather than the bar. Food took ages to arrive and quality was poor (chips still raw inside - straight from the freezer, roast potatoes soft, etc. Plus, items were missing and had to be requested. Oh, and there was drug paraphernalia in the toilets. Avoid.

A place where I used to go years ago. Nice little pub behind what was The George and Dragon (where I worked) . Well worth a visit if in Marlow. Love this little town.., so many memories. One of the oldest pubs in Marlow, The Two Brewers has been serving pints near the River Thames since 1727. It’s most famous as the site where Jerome K. Jerome wrote part of his classic novel – Three Men in a Boat. Jerome thought Marlow to be ‘one of the pleasantest river centres I know of. It is a bustling lively little town … there are many quaint nooks and corners to be found in it’. Two Brewers Marlow is the perfect pub in Marlow for great traditional pub food and perfectly served drinks. We look forward to seeing you at the best pub in Marlow!

My daughter and I had dinner at the Two Brewers on Friday evening. We sat "downstairs", in a comfortable semi-basement area, off the main bar. The pub was crowded at 6.30pm, which is a good sign. The food was good pub fare, excellently presented and served, although one or two items were "off" the menu, owing presumably to high demand. Leah, who served us, was delightful and knowledgeable, and we will visit again.

A lovely pub in a quiet, riverside location. Great selection of beers. Unfortunately the food experience was extremely poor. After a 30-45 minute wait (it wasn’t busy), we had 4, hurriedly and poorly put together dishes with salads that were dry and wilted from having been under a heater. The food was bland and clearly from a kitchen who didn’t really care for the experience of the customers (although good chips..I’ll give them that). Extremely underwhelming and not befitting of such a lovely venue. We also chose the venue for the well advertised dog friendliness. They never acknowledged our pup or even offered a bowl of water. No mention of the dog menu. While I’d certainly stop for a drink, I will not eat here again.

Been using this pub for years and it’s been great in the past. However, recently there has been a change. Firstly it started running out of beer on a Friday night, the food has become boil in the bag and the pièce de résistance they’ve installed video screens into a 300 year old character pub. Whose great idea was that? The Two Brewers is in a fabulous location and could be and should be a great pub to meet up, have a drink in a quiet environment and enjoy some good food. Chose The Two Brewers after looking at the menu online. I was planning to have the House salad with grilled hake, my mother wanted the Hake & scallop tagliatelle, and my 2 sons a burger each. Sadly when I went to order I was told they were completely out of fish - blaming it on 'fish Friday' the previous day. So my mum went for a burger too, and I chose instead to have chicken and bacon with my house salad. To be fair my mother and sons were very pleased with their burgers. Tasty and moist. A bit frugle in the accompanying chip offering though. My salad was rather frugle too. Not only was it lacking the cucumber ribbons, tenderstem broccoli and crumbled feta cheese promised on the menu, it came with a rather small piece of grilled chicken beast, and 2 small thin pieces of bacon which didn't equate to one slice. See attached photo. Very disappointing for £19. On the plus side: the staff were very welcoming, helpful and attentive. Our table (3) was very poorly lit.

Thank you so much for an incredible Christmas Day lunch. The staff were all amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. You catered for our very large family upstairs and we couldn’t have had a better Christmas!

Great service despite the pub being fairly busy and understaffed. 4 cask ales available from the local Rebelion Brewery. For those customers wanting to eat, they were informed that there was an hour's delay.

The Two Brewers is our local pub and we always enjoy our visits as a couple, family and with the dog! This year with family over from overseas we spent Christmas Day at the pub as we were a group of 20+. The booking was...

This is an absolute must if you enjoy utterly gorgeous food. We were a table of 4 girlfriends and tried almost everything on the menu. In fact we did try all the desserts! The pub is small and cosy and the food is divine. Mussels to die for..... I can still taste them now, 2 days later. The service we had was outstanding too. A little gem in Marlow. The only very tiny downside is that you have to book at 8am if you want a table that day. Definitely worth setting an alarm for though.

Once shown to our table it was obvious the place wasn’t cleaned properly. My feet were sticking to tenge floor, the table wasn’t clean and neither were the surrounding ledges. I ordered a bacon and cheese burger, which, when it arrived, was small and the burger was like eating a burnt brick, it must have been cooked for hours. I was so disgusted that I asked the waiter to take it away and that I didn’t want a replacement. I am 60 years old and this is the first time I have ever returned a meal. My husband refused to pay for the meal although the waiter did try to charge us for half of it, even tough I had had about one mouthful. Needless to say we will never visit this establishment again.

Shocking, went in the late summer for a lunch meal and went away extremely disappointed and we will never return again. The price for what was a very small part baked then an overcooked dried roll was daylight robbery. It cost me £12 for the plate in the photo and 1 pint of beer. Spoke to various staff members who didn't really know what was going on and said that was the price. If you do go be warned, this is the worst pub grub and value for money in Marlow.

Dropped in for breakfast and to sit outside the main entrance as it was glorious. There was only a couple of members of staff serving and the queue was building. An elderly gentlemen was faffing about, he was both sides of the counter, completely ignoring the staff or customers, just making his own coffee. Another elderly lady came in and similar, both sides of the counters, chatting to the gentleman, then going into the cupboard and messing about with the fire alarms. She’s barking orders about waiting for a coffee and rolling her eyes. Next thing they are both sat outside and the queue is even bigger, with people explaining this has become the norm now. Brilliant, I wouldn’t mind but the coffee and breakfast was no where near the usual standards.
