My daughter and I had dinner at the Two Brewers on Friday evening. We sat "downstairs", in a comfortable semi-basement area, off the main bar. The pub was crowded at 6.30pm, which is a good sign. The food was good pub fare, excellently presented and served, although one or two items were "off" the menu, owing presumably to high demand. Leah, who served us, was delightful and knowledgeable, and we will visit again.

My wife and I came here about 2 and half years ago and we were excited to return back thanks to our amazing visit so long ago. Much has changed within the pub with some screens which don't really fit with the theme of the 300 year old pub. We came back for an amazing Sunday roast and were immediately greeted and given a table even though we hadn't booked we were pleasantly surprised to see one of the staff on our first visit was still here and one of the reasons we came back! She made us feel so welcome and special on our visit we vowed to come again and to our suprise she had recognised us! Thankyou very much Jessica for another lovely visit, tasty triple roast and good beer

A lovely pub in a quiet, riverside location. Great selection of beers. Unfortunately the food experience was extremely poor. After a 30-45 minute wait (it wasn’t busy), we had 4, hurriedly and poorly put together dishes with salads that were dry and wilted from having been under a heater. The food was bland and clearly from a kitchen who didn’t really care for the experience of the customers (although good chips..I’ll give them that). Extremely underwhelming and not befitting of such a lovely venue. We also chose the venue for the well advertised dog friendliness. They never acknowledged our pup or even offered a bowl of water. No mention of the dog menu. While I’d certainly stop for a drink, I will not eat here again.

There were 3 adults, a young child and a baby in our party. The food, beer and wine were all very good. Bertie made us very welcome and her service was excellent, particularly with the food and hot water for the children. The pub is close to the river, so beautifully located. This was our second visit, and it will not be our last.

We booked for Easter Sunday late Lunch as we were staying in Marlow. We also had a little Dog and we saw this pub was dog friendly! The staff were really welcoming and accommodating. We great Sunday Roast, I had the Trio and my wife had the Turkey, we were also offered an extra Yorkshire Pudding, which being from Yorkshire this was a winner, extra gravy is also a real bonus and I have been to places were they don’t or won’t give you extra. The beer was from the local Rebellion brewery and was also very nice. I did not get everyone’s name, but Amelia and all her colleagues really looked after us and made it a really pleasant Sunday lunch, they even gave our Dog Daisy some treats which is always appreciated.!

We cleverly booked a table as we knew it would be busy for a bank holiday! So glad we did it was so busy. The food was amazing steak and venison pie didnt touch the sides and the sausage and mash were just good home comfort foods, the children's food was great the portion sizes were spot on plus kids ate for a £1 this week which we were unaware of but the team talked us through it and extremely helpful in such a busy rush Staff super friendly, helpful and very attentive. Jess and Leah really stood out for us amongst all the hustle and bustle of the pub and it being so packed out we were always made aware that there maybe a wait on food. Well done Two Brewers we will definitely be back

Been using this pub for years and it’s been great in the past. However, recently there has been a change. Firstly it started running out of beer on a Friday night, the food has become boil in the bag and the pièce de résistance they’ve installed video screens into a 300 year old character pub. Whose great idea was that? The Two Brewers is in a fabulous location and could be and should be a great pub to meet up, have a drink in a quiet environment and enjoy some good food. As a Marlow local, I couldn't recommend The Two Brewers highly enough for relaxed drink or / and food. In my opinion, it is the only true 'Pub' in Marlow, in a great spot by the river for any time of the year. Fire/s in the colder months and a great garden for the warmer. Great staff and customers away from the high street.

Chose The Two Brewers after looking at the menu online. I was planning to have the House salad with grilled hake, my mother wanted the Hake & scallop tagliatelle, and my 2 sons a burger each. Sadly when I went to order I was told they were completely out of fish - blaming it on 'fish Friday' the previous day. So my mum went for a burger too, and I chose instead to have chicken and bacon with my house salad. To be fair my mother and sons were very pleased with their burgers. Tasty and moist. A bit frugle in the accompanying chip offering though. My salad was rather frugle too. Not only was it lacking the cucumber ribbons, tenderstem broccoli and crumbled feta cheese promised on the menu, it came with a rather small piece of grilled chicken beast, and 2 small thin pieces of bacon which didn't equate to one slice. See attached photo. Very disappointing for £19. On the plus side: the staff were very welcoming, helpful and attentive. Our table (3) was very poorly lit.

As walk-in guests we were advised roasts weren’t available due to high numbers of bookings although other menu options were offered. A wait time of 40+ minutes was explained to us both however 10 minutes later our food was ready. I couldn’t recommend this little gem of a pub more. In 20 years of visiting hundreds of local pubs, we have never been told that walk-ins can't order food. It was 1:00 on a Sunday and there was only 6 tables being served in the whole restaurant. Worst, we ordered two beers and then she told us no food. We were stuck there with drinks and no food.

Yet again, brilliant customer service, this time from the fabulous manager Bertie who was so warm and welcoming, wonderfully supported by Corey and Marcella with their exceptional customer service skills - and very accomplished kitchen staff. Ordered food at 12. 35 and it took 48mins to arrive; when it did, it left a lot to be desired! Sausage & mash (a staple for a Saturday pub lunch) was already off so ordered the Gammon with fries, fried egg and grilled tomato plus a side of "seasonal veg". When it came, it was missing the fried egg and tomato (apparently, they'd run out of eggs!!), the veg comprised half a carrot, half a very large, under-cooked parsnip and a single, small spear of broccoli. Not a good food experience and certainly not worth the high prices!

We had one coeliac in group who could not preorder as we were unable to contact the pub by either phone or email as no reply. On the night we were the ONLY booking yet my pre-ordered pie was not available due to a fridge/freezer failure! Staff unsure what coeliac choices were. My wife's steak was missing onion rings. Food was ok, I had lamb shank with mash which was small portion and no veg just garnish of rocket. Didn't try dessert as brought our own cake, however we ordered coffee and were told they had run out of coffee beans! Offered tea or instant so we declined. Food a bit limited too (we were there at 7pm) as a number of items weren't available- e.g. no steak, no gammon and another I don't remember. Most of us had the beef pie which was tasty, if a bit small. Rather mean on the gravy provided, which meant the pie was not as good as it could have been. Brocoli was on the menu as tender stem - no it wasn't !

The food wasn’t bad, however it took 45mins for 1 burger to arrive (the pub was at 15% capacity) after I’d gone in to check where it was. No urgency or attention to detail from the staff. Well staffed but no initiative. As an example I saw food in the window for 10mins, while the staff chatted nearby. Once I let them know I’d seen that they jumped into action. £17 for a small overcooked burger and small fries. That’s way overpriced for what it was.

My family and I went to the two brewers and were treated by the kind friendly faces of Amalie and Tom. Drinks were served quickly. Ordered food in peak time and we were told a wait of half an hour but only waited 20 minutes! Compliments to the chef Lorraine for the amazing food. Ordered a few of the classic burgers and chips along with one fish and chips. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great lunch with atmosphere!

After waiting for approaching 50 mins for a sandwich we were told it would be another 20 mins. Offered the choice of wait or money back. After having been here a number of times this is our last, due to a lack of service recovery.

What has happened to this pub? 12 months ago it was one of the best places to get a drink in Marlow. Tonight Guinness, Peroni and Rebellion Lager were all off as there were line issues and there were a number meals that were unavailable due to a shortage of stock.

Appalling booking system and extremely unsympathetic telephone booking staff. I followed instructions to the lettter and got nowhere from 07.50 onwards using on line and telephone reservations conflic

Awful. Firstly they forgot the cutlery and bread with the starters. Ok fixable. Then, when we were asked if we were ready for the mains they arrived immediately so we're obviously not freshly cooked

Pub closed 2021. Really sad that this pub closed in August 2021 and hasn't (yet) reopened under new ownership. Looks as if it's surrounded by security fencing pending redevelopment. Another lost pub
