We had a wonderful Sunday Roast here. They were able to get us in without a reservation and were so nice and friendly despite being super busy. The inn oozes charm and the food was delicious. We got a beef roast and lamb roast and sticky toffee pudding (gf) for dessert. A quick stroll down to the beach for a lovely view. We feel lucky to have found this gem!

I wandered into the Beau Nash during a circular walk around Tunbridge Wells early Wednesday afternoon. There were a few other punters in and the food looked good. I didn't want a full lunch so opted for a plate of chips which were very well cooked and, unlike in other TW pubs where you can price up individual chips, the portion size was pretty generous. Harveys Best was on, but I opted for the Gun Scaramanga on handpull - which was excellent. I believe the new manager is having a guest beer on regularly alongside Harveys which is great news (other pubs in TW not supporting local breweries take note!). Customer service was also excellent, Phoebe was great with all those who came in for food or drink; polite, friendly and efficient. All in all a very enjoyable place to visit for drinks and/or food. I will be back soon.

Exceptional. I’m not entirely sure where the bad reviews have come from. We arrived as a large group and were offered a space to seat and have a drink before sitting for lunch and look through the menu. The service and food was faultless throughout, I couldn’t reccomend it enough!

When we first walked in the staff just didn’t acknowledge us there was no table of 6 available so asked if we could move the table of 2 and table of 4 together as they were next to each other and both free. At first we was told no and then after a bit of explaining we was told we’d have to wait 15 minutes so they could clear the table. There was a tray with a few empty drinks on. 15 mins was up so we all went in and sat down the tray with drinks on was still on the table and the table hadn’t even been wiped. After all getting settled the waitress finally moved the tray and explained they was busy. We ordered drinks and food together. The drinks took 20 minutes to come. I had coke in a bottle and a glass with ice in. My ice was already half melted. Over an hour later our food came out. Burgers were dry. The Mac and cheese was the worst thing I had ever seen. It was like really stodgy porridge and did not taste of cheese at all. Any time we asked the waitress something she just made it seem like we was asking her to go above and beyond for us when really we wasn’t being difficult even in the slightest. At the end we go to pay and they add a 10% service fee without even asking. Why would I want to pay 10% of my nearly £150 bill for a poor and quite disgusting service. The only plus’s side to this place was the decorations, the mayonnaise and the fact they allowed dogs in

Local restaurant near Oxford University! It is very convenient if you make a reservation first, but we leave a method of ordering for people who will visit on the same day like us. 1. Grab a table and memorize the table number. 2. After choosing the menu you want to order, go to the bar and order. 3. When ordering, give your table number first, then tell the menu and pay. Most people order food and alcohol together, but since you don't know the type and taste of alcohol before ordering, you can ask the staff to let you taste a small amount using a tasting cup, just like Baskin Robbins 31 in Korea provides a tasting spoon. Most of the food was delicious and good, especially the pork tonkatsu.
