The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

We spent Christmas Day at The Angel. We had such a lovely time. The 3 course food was excellent and the service was so aware this enabled us to relax and enjoy. We were the last to leave as we were having such a good time. The stable area was decorated amazingly and set out to make the Christmas spirit. Well done and thank you.

Family of five, 3 generations, all agreed our worst ever Christmas dinner, and it was pre ordered. Not enough vegetables and poorly cooked. Roast potatoes soft and splodgy, sprouts undercooked, one piece of parsnip per person, and one meal had no parsnip at all. Turkey was ok., two slices, and one undercooked pig in blanket. This is the view of five of us who are usually uncomplaining. Staff were very nice.

The food was OK but the group next to us were screaming and shouting so loudly we couldn't hear ourselves or the waiting staff speak.

Good location and pleasant atmosphere and usually quick service. Popularity sometimes means tables not cleaned swiftly and toilets can be challenge that is probably best avoided.

Nice friendly staff, food not served until 1pm. Plenty of parking, eurocar park controlled, saying that first three hours free, no need to register reg.

I went with friends to celebrate a 60th birthday very poor chose of food no steak or roasts.I explained that I had gone online to view menu and to download the 30% off voucher was told they hadn't been informed about it!! A very disappointing experience would not recommend.

UPDATE: Mettricks have now decided its acceptable to fly tip their commercial rubbish directly outside the entrance to a neighbouring residential apartment building. It has been there weeks. Nice atmosphere and location but the drinks are overpriced, especially the milkshake. Nearly £4 for basically a nesquik in a mason jar. Coffee is a bit expensive here as well for what it is. Update: reduced to 1 star after being charged £2.50 for a can of coke to take away

I went for a company lunch. My starters was a beetroot carpaccio which have a good taste but it was just 5 slices of beetroot and some cream cheese decorating, extremely small. Beef was not a great cut but was nicely cooked, the sides where a plain potato mash and some greens and also no much of it. Brownie was a bit dry. I did not dislike anything I eat but just no sure about the quality price or amount and price. Staff was amazing all very nice!

We stopped for lunch with three dogs and chose to sit outside. Staff were lovely and fish and chips were excellent. Generous portions and beautifully hot.

Considering the crazy Xmas rush, staff seem to be handling things smoothly. Service isn't the fastest but order is correct every time which I appreciate. Thank you 😊
