We decided to visit for lunch on Tuesday and so glad we did. Lovely warm welcome. Amazing service and what a choice on the menu! Drinks delivered immediately. Such a varied menu you are spoilt for choice. All our choices were delicious. There was only one girl working but we were all looked after and she was rushed off her feet but we didn't feel any lack in service, in fact she did an amazing job. Reasonably priced. Due to road closure at the moment it's a bit more difficult to get there but I would recommend the detour If you like fish I would recommend the Bouillabaisse

What an amazing pub! Staff exceptional and greeted us with a lovely warm welcome which continued throughout our stay. Great atmosphere too. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, which I happened to mention this when I booked online. When we arrived, there were birthday balloons on the table and a birthday banner hung up - a lovely touch. They even gave my husband a free dessert as it was his birthday. Menu was again exceptional. So much choice and quality home cooked food with great presentation. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday a great night. Highly recommend you try this lovely country pub. Will definitely be back soon!

Friend had kindly bought us a voucher as we had not been before. Menu is extensive to suit all pallets and reasonably priced. Friendly staff from the moment of booking and attending the venue. We had a lovely table near the fire but were shortly joined by a large group to sit around the fire and could no longer hear each other over the table. I had the beef Thai dish which was delicious and my husband opted for a chicken burger which came with chips and onion rings on a small plate.

A truly excellent village pub! And a wonderful warm welcome from Ali, her son and husband. The food is pub food rather than restaurant food BUT it's absolutely at the top end of pub food. I'd been driving by for years but now it's becoming my local. Don't quite follow some adverse comments about the garden: it's a lovely place to sit and, given this is walking territory, It's hardly surprising that, from time to time, there's an "accident." I've never seen one though. Beautifully kept and peaceful in my experience. Terrific beers and a good wine list. Strongly recommended to summarise!

We came here for our anniversary dinner and we were so disappointed. We wanted to sit in the garden but there several dog poos in the garden, and the pub had only just opened so they must have been there for ages. They also had a really aggressive dog that must been owned by the people running the pub as it appeared to come running out of the staff area. We chose from the pizza menus as we got free drinks with these on a Tuesday, my pizza was overwhelmed with balsamic vinegar and then I found a hair in it. At this point we decided to pay and leave, the bar lady said she would take the pizza off our bill but then they charged us for the drink, when I challenged this she said her manager told her to charge us for the free drink as we didn’t have pizza. After we got home we looked on trip advisor and other people have complained about dog poo. The pub overall was really tired and scruffy looking. I would definitely avoid this pub.

What a find! Lost count of the amount of times I've driven by this place over the years but this was my first visit and I could not have been more impressed. Charming bar and restaurant area, gorgeous looking fireplace (I think I may have spied a couple of club chairs in front of it - heaven!) and just generally a nice 'vibe.' The vibe was aided and abetted by a lovely, efficient and accommodating serving team and a delicious (roast) meal; compliments to the chef! We noted that there was overnight accommodation so we'll definitely return as this pub also looks as though it would be a great base for walking in the Hampshire countryside.

Looked forward to visiting again under new management. Seemed under staffed, young lady at the bar was under pressure but had no support from other people we assumed were "management". Decent pizza, though not as spicy as advertised. We sat in the garden and am obliged to report that there were several pieces of dog poo that had clearly been there for a day or two. Will not go back except perhaps to sit inside?

The Three Horseshoes Pub has helped family and friends from Portsmouth, Reading and Southampton arrange a get-together, for Kate & Ollie, before their Big Day in September. The Sunday Roast was delicious, tasty, and so much of it! Plenty of meat, vegetables and gravy and we would not hesitate in recommending eating here. All portions are huge, service is excellent, friendly, and attentive. The pub is delightful, the gardens are lovely and each time we have been here the weather has been warm and sunny, so no excuse needed to sit awhile in the sunshine enjoying the ambience. Thank you so much for all your attention to detail with the celebrations. We have spent a lovely four and a half hours with you, it has been very much appreciated. A huge thank you to Alison and her team and special mention to the young waitress who was dealing with our every need and all our whims, you were fab! THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US! xx

We’ve been to the Three Horseshoes two or three times and again last Thursday. I love the new owners and their family and staff. They are so nice and welcoming. I really like the food, I just love a stew and comfort food. My Husband and Son had steak and it was fabulous with all the lovely trimmings. The chips are divine. It was my birthday and Alison (the boss) is so naturally warm and friendly. The perfect place for a Sunday roast (they are yummy too) a meal with friends or a cosy evening by the fire. It’s so nice to see a pub busy and being supported by the locals and visitors to the area. Love the new decor it’s my new favourite pub. I really hope they continue to succeed. I could also eat chocolate melt in the middle pudding for breakfast dinner and tea..along with a couple of the other puds!

The two staff were met were very welcoming. The menu had many things on there to tempt us but we went for one rabbit pie and one beef and mushroom crumble. Both were excellent. I could have happily eaten all the pudding choices but will have to return when I'm not trying to be quite so good. Came across this super pub almost by accident and so glad we did. The place has endless character - it's almost rustic in fact - but it is spotlessly clean and the scrubbed wood tables, which come in all shapes and sizes, set the whole place off perfectly. My duck breast was perfectly pink and served on a sauce of rich morello cherries and my son's macaroni cheese was, in his words, "banging". My son has visited the pub on a few occasions and told us it was nice so we decided to give it a try for my husband's birthday. The interior took me back a few years to my youth and had a real individual feel with open fireplaces, books to browse through and games to play (for all ages),The hosts were very welcoming & friendly.Between us we had fish & chips, rabbit pie and steak & chips. All the meals were well cooked and tasty. Nobody really had room for pudding but two of us shared the chocolate brownie which was delicious and was accompanied with a birthday candle, a nice touch. The land lady also joined in with the singing!!We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Three Horseshoes and will definitely return.

Not sure why we had to choose menu prior to visit as wasn't that busy. Service was up and down. Main course of 12 hour Hampshire game pot with garlic mash and winter vegetables was actually more of a pie. It wasn't the greatest and the Christmas pudding was definitely a ping cuisine job. However, reasonable price and would try again if in the area.

This was an informal visit, as we were passing and popped in for 'pub grub'. Menu was hot a little posh, with not a lot of choice for veggies, but we ate well. The staff were very friendly and flexible and the environment was extremely comfortable and welcoming. Recommended.

Staff very attentive and friendly unless you complain about food! I was not impressed at all at their version of a fish pie. It was a soggy mess with not much in the way of fish to justify price. I hope other items on menu are better - good luck!

I needed to find somewhere convenient to meet up with my adult kids for some lunch. The Three Horseshoes is about mid-way between us all, so I booked it for Saturday lunch. I am so glad I did. The staff were there when you needed them and not when you didn't. They were all (including the landlord/landlady) very friendly, polite and efficient. The food was excellent and well presented. 5 stars

I had dinner at The Three Horseshoes twice during a stay in their lovely accommodation and can highly recommend it. Warm and welcoming atmosphere and delicious food at a reasonable price. Very nice sausages and mash one time, delicious homemade beef burger the other. The chips are fantastic!! It was quite a treat that I happened to be there for a folk music night as well. A lovely, clean, family-friendly venue that I would be very happy to visit again and recommend to anyone.

Came here for a midweek dinner after searching around TripAdvisor for a nice place in the area. I'd heard nothing about this place previously and simply came based on the photos and reviews. It certainly did not disappoint! Extremely friendly atmosphere, particularly from our host, Sarah, and lovely food. The fish pie is recommended. I'm pleased I've found this place as I'll certainly be back.

We visited the pub based on the good food guide write up and Trip Advisor comments. Did not disappoint. We were a group of 9 including 5 older children between 7 and 12. Excellent menu choices including stared size portions from the main men for the children. Salmon and vegetables special was wonderful as were their famous pies. Lovely atmosphere staff very welcoming waitress who couldn't do enough girls us. Kids enjoyed the board games too. Would highly recommend 5 *****

Was given the name of this Pub from Nick and Rose at Knox Farmhouse B & B. Decided this was the place to come back to for all our meals. Great food, good variety, excellent service and bar tending and great locals who made us feel comfortable. My husband even felt comfortable enough to take a turn at tending the fireplace with everyone. Highly recommend this pub.

We couldn't have been happier with the fantastic hospitality providing us all with a memorable family celebration. From the my first contact to make a booking the service was fantastic, conscientious, caring and warm. Nothing was too much bother.. The pub has a great atmosphere and is very child friendly, the side room we had for the gathering was ideal for a large lunch party and lots of kids. We felt welcomed and well looked after and enjoyed a lovely, well cooked lunch. Thank you for such a great day, we hope to come again!!

The Three horseshoes changed hands a few years ago and enjoyed an immediate improvement under the careful stewardship of the new landlord. In particular the food offered was excellent and naturally attracted a good local client base. We have enjoyed dinner at the Three Horseshoes on several occasions but feel that maybe a change of chef has occurred as the style of the food is subtly different - not poorer but different in a way which slightly detracts from the enjoyment for us. Still a great pub with friendly and efficient service by the landlady.

When Chris and I booked our table we were advised that a largish party of ramblers was arriving just after we planned to eat so we went for a slightly earlier time, and chose what we wanted to eat in advance. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and shown to a decent table for two. Our order had been noted and the kitchen was informed immediately. We ordered a pot of tea to await our lunch and this came in pleasant china very quickly. The restaurant area is very pleasantly decked out and the background music is quite enjoyable and not at all intrusive. Our lunch arrived soon afterwards and we felt we had chosen well with the roast beef, which was a decent size portion and excellently cooked, pink and melt in the mouth, and this was accompanied by SIX vegetables very well cooked and an individual yorkshire pudding with tasty gravy. We both enjoyed our meal immensely.

Advance booking made by our B&B produced a table by a v. warm log fire. Good job we didn't have a starter as the size of the main courses were enough. Our choices of Mussels, Steak Pie and Venison Shank in Red Wine were all cleaned up.The lovely Millie looked after us, joined in our banter and gave excellent service without being over attentive. A one off visit-would hope to repeat.

On Saturday 10th October after a rather long drive home from Cornwall we decided to stop and have a bite to eat before heading home. We have been to the Three horseshoes before just for a drink and it was lovely then. The food was amazing and the staff are so friendly/helpful. We were even allowed to bring our two dogs in! Would recommend and go back anytime! Thank you for a lovely end to our holiday!

We went to the Three Horsehoes for Sunday Lunch. The food was delicious and the service was great. One of my children has food allergies and the waitress and staff were very attentive to her needs. They have a beautiful garden and lots of games for the family to play while waiting for dinner - which helped a lot.We were staying at the Featherdown Farm in West Worldham, so we walked through the fields to get there on the Sunday. We worked up an appetite and the food was well worth it. Very well priced as well.

Shocking poor service, incompetent kitchen staff and management. Clueless about service and rectifying issues. Handed back food that was not even lukewarm to be told it's fine it's been probed! Laugha
