Nicely decorated and clean. Came very early as staff were setting up. Prices on the high side but food was nice and coffee was hot

Sunday morning breakfast , early so wasn’t too busy. Food took ages to come out and my bacon sandwich (£9.95) was freezing cold , bacon was frazzled and snapped into pieces butter didn’t melt it was that cold Bread hard too was like eating a flip flop , so dry! Coffee was nice hence the 3* Would not return

Popped in on spec and was enormously impressed by the great range of coffees on offer. It actually took me a while to choose my brew but the flat white I ordered was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Slow service, the girl who took our order was sweet but seemed slightly overwhelmed in spite of the fact that the place wasn’t full. The food (Caesar salad and avocado and bacon Benedict, and millionaires shortbread) was actually pretty good, but it took a while to arrive. Nice tea, too, but one dirty cup (had it even been washed??) and the cutlery wasn’t great, either, both were replaced with good grace. And, what’s really annoying, the place is ‘cashless’. There are at least four banks within moments from the place. By refusing to take cash, you are contributing to its disappearance. I’m sure your customers can deal with handling the occasional twenty pound note.

This is one of the very few cafés that has remained dog-free. I am so glad I can have a drink without being bothered by dogs and their owners who seem to be intent on taking over the world.

Early lunch on a Saturday is very busy time with a long queue. However, in the café style of service, find yourself a table, look at the menus and select your choices, go to the order station and pay before receiving food. A numbered paper coffee cup given to you after payment and placed on your table assists the serving staff to locate you. The rooms are bare of sound proofing, with faux greenery and tables are not dressed. Cutlery is in wooden holders on the table but had to request black pepper shaker. The food is not your run of the mill greasy spoon café. The website has details of various menus, including for children. A variety of coffees are available being roasted on the premises by a Giesen coffee roaster thus having freshest roasted coffee. The crockery is heavy, clunky and noisy when moved adding to confusion of noise. A very pleasant and helpful service. Recommend it, but will visit it during the quieter period. Avoid tables near the entrance as on a cold day it is cooler there.

The trading post was the perfect venue for our private birthday party, the staff were so accommodating and made the place look beautiful for the evening. The service was amazing and the drinks were delicious. Love coming here!

I last came for breakfast with a friend and a lovely lady called Rosie made me one of the best coffees I've had! Delicious sausage sandwich, will come back to try the rest of the menu

Trading Post Coffee Roasters in Chichester became my go to place for breakfast over four days at the end of October. My first attempts to find a place for breakfast in town were foiled before I found Trading Post. One big plus was that this café opened at 7:30am. Great I didn't have to wait so late into the morning to get breakfast. First day I tried their English Breakfast and was pleased. The other three mornings was buttered toast and jam with Cumberland sausage. Again also very nice. Tried my first halloumi, a cheese new to me. Cappuccino was always good. The staff was tops, very pleasant to talk to over these four days. Orders were always correct and arrived quickly.

Every time I come to trading post the service always matches the beautiful coffee. Coffee always served piping hot and beautifully crafted no matter what you go for!

My favourite coffee shop in Chi, staff are so friendly and lovely, coffee is so good (and a lot of great blends you can chose from so makes your cup personal to you) and great food. Poor coffee. Ordered extra hot coffee for my wife and was assured by the person who served us that this was possible. It arrived luke warm. Took it back and when second cup arrived still luke warm.
