The Empire Club in Adur

Back in the day extreme right wingers like neo Nazis, national front, edl and bnp used to openly hate foreigners at this wonderful establishment. Now they have to hide it and it's bloody shameful. Why can't people show their hate for non-white at this truly British establishment? This country is going down the pan with Labour taking over and giving people, including non-white equal rights. Well, I won't be drinking here again, because I can't wave my German WW2 flag openly in the club and it deeply upsets me.

Got two 3 month £3 memberships to December.

Always lovely everytime we come down, we are not members but always feel welcome by everyone. Thank you.

A great club. Great atmosphere with great staff.

Few customers , 4at 9.40. Told closing at 10.30. Member for 30+ years. Not anything like a welcome.

First time down there all the people seam nice and friendly and it was a good night on New Year's Eve

The venue itself is a good size however I must say the communication from the management is absolutely AWFUL! they expect you to know every and anything about the venue when you are not informed. I have to add that as an ethnic minority be aware that they will watch your every movement and find something to complain about, the "members" of the club are particularly racist and pass the most horrible remarks thinking that you cannot hear what they've said. This made me feel very very uncomfortable. For my first experience I wouldn't recommend going there especially as an ethnic minority as you will be treated and an outcast.

Not worth going very racist club would not recommend anyone the management are unsociable and unprofessional in everyway and if you not white you will get police call on you even though I booked and paid the venue nothing was explained on what we can and can't take in the club each time they contact us over a month it was something else and still everything was not told to us ruined my event I would not recommend anyone booking are even attend for a drink it is actually 0 star not even worth 1

Two stars for cheap drinks ,but felt like I was in a nursing home. Atmosphere was lacking to the point ,a glass eye would fall asleep. Don't get me wrong there is a good community spirit amongst the regulars,but not being a local really made me feel uncomfortable. Leaving after one swiftly knocked back drink,was my best decision I made today. I don't think I will return, but I'm sure the regular patrons enjoy their nights out here.

Excellent service, the staff are second to none.

Full of alcoholic, chain-smoking pond life and very, very cliquey. No wonder we lost the British Empire. Worst dump in Lancing and that is certainly quite an accolade!

Where do I start? The potato’s, CRISPY. The turkey, MOIST. The swede, PLENTIFUL. Pigs in blankets in April? Unheard of. Would highly recommend eating here as whatever they serve gets the 5 stars from me!

Great atmosphere friendly people nice staff very welcoming

I didn't necessarily dislike it but it could do with a coat of paint. However we were there for a private party and my goodness the drinks were soooo cheap. Would definitely recommend it if you are after cheap drinks. I believe you have to be a member though

Very good for Rock'n'roll once a month.

Nothing bad to say, decent beer, sport on TV... Good discounts if a member. Whenever I have been in, no issues with staff.. Good to use for a function too.

Dead as anything .. Like a morgue ..no atmosphere no life nothing ..and the young female bar staff cannot put their phones down for one min ..this club is dying fast

Yo solía ir al Empire Club cuando estaba basado en Lancing, hace muchos años. Recientemente un amigo me invitó allí a buscar y tomar una copa. Nada había cambiado mucho, la misma buena calidad de selección de cervezas, a precios muy razonables, y una multitud de personas que me recibieron en una manera bastante bien. A very dated old club you have to be a member or get signed by one. This place is dieing six people on a Friday night.

A lovely place for you and your family. Cheap beer but excellent. Membership cheap sky TV and a very warm atmosphere.

Yes I am a member of The Empire Club. Have been many times through the year and every time enjoyed a decent pint at a reasonable price.
