Costa Coffee in Adur

This is one of the nicer Costa Coffee cafes i've visited. Plenty of room between the tables and very clean.

Located at NEXT at Holmbush retail centre. Cosy and friendly place to chill out. Can get very busy.

Nice coffee shop inside Next. Staff very friendly. Costa just need to employ one or two more to keep the tables clean and tidy.

Food and drink were excellent. Just coffee and toasties, but they were up to standard. Service was fine, nothing outstanding, was a bit unclear who was serving me at the start (turns out 2 people were both doing it). There was an annoying group of kids in there, who didn't bother me too much, but were clearly bothering others.

Another Costa, another mistake. This one I ordered a takeaway Americano with milk. Only after leaving and too late to go back that I went to drink it and found no milk.

I never go to this or any other major coffee house, neither should you

Excellent service, good variety of sandwiches and cakes. Clean cafe, lovely and friendly staff. For those reading the less positive reviews, I come here regularly and it just have been the odd cases where people had a bad experience, but also a lot of the reviews are for Costa coffees in other locations. This Costa is within Next in Holmbush centre and not at Southland hospital or anywhere else.

At next coffee shop very nice and tea there too .

Absolutely horrendous service we had by 2 dark haired girls on the 18th October at 4/5pm! me and my daughter where served but shortly after my mother that suffers with serve mental health issues which is undoubtedly not unrecognised had ordered a drink and food and she was told the tills where not working approximately 1/2 minutes after I ordered, the lady looked at my mother and carried on writting her stock take, and told her she can take her order in a minute. Then the lady making the drinks decided to be rude and tell me that I better shut up otherwise she will put my drink in a take away cup! I can understand the times and maybe the store was closing but the service was appalling and we were told to leave as she had told my mother she was rude when actually the service she provided was really appalling! I think this store needs a serious look at customer service as this was definitely not the right approach nor the correct way to speak to a customer! We had been coming to this store for a while and the manager of Costa is absolutely lovely very disappointing for the other 2 members of staff! We will not be revisiting

This costa coffee is always clean, tidy and has a good selection of food to offer, the staff are very bubbly, friendly and helpful.

No salt or pepper supplied... Makes sandwiches rather bland...

Use costa lots in and around Brighton

Have just call in to Costa Coffee homebush Shoreham The service could not have been a higher standard by the young manageress who is excellent at her job and customer service and customer relations in this day and age was a breath of fresh air whilst still training Sam (trainee) again excellent work and another first day (trainee) A review from myself is a very rare occurrence but just felt that it needed to be NOTED EXCELLENT HOPE YOUR BOSSES DO TOO

Terrible coffee, very watered down and tasteless. Dirty floor and noisy staff, very unprofessional.

This is one of the best Costa's, I go in. My mum and I love the manger, she is a real asset. Her and her staff work so well together and very hard working. Coffee is always fantastic.

Everything was good except the length of time it takes to get served. The staff were working hard, but it puts me off standing in a queue so long!

I got a delivery it took 40 minutes for it to come then when it came the bag was wet because my drink spilled all in it so I only had a small bit left and when I tried it was the wrong Order I ordered no coffee and it had coffee in it horrible service

My partner and I always go and get a Large Latte we love it. Great place to grab a coffee ☕ I would highly recommend a Costa.

This place is inside a shopping centre. It's upstairs and a bit hidden but once you found it it's great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with my assistant dog. I ordered coffee and a toastie which was half price at the time. The place has wifi and a bit of seating but it filled up quick when I was there with a mixture of moms having coffee a purple of people working on laptops and people shopping who wanted a drink.

Very happy to sit comfortably and enjoy my dairyfree coconut flat white coffee and chocolate half covered vegan rice cakes. Wasn't too busy. Just right.

If this is Costa Coffee in Next at the Holmbush Center Shoreham, unfortunately it is the worst one i have been to, not very clean at all and the staff were quite rude to, so will not be visiting again any time soon

What a total shambles - queue for 10 minutes for coffee to get to till and be told we couldn’t order coffee unless we had a table - to then wait for a table while they serve take out cupa and let those people take free table - disgusted to say the least and then listen to them defend that action- dont bother coming here - awful customer service

The third time I've been in here it seems they are short staffed tables dirty loaded with cups staff really busy long ques just for coffee come on Costa your better than this ,get some one out with the customers cleaning up ,I really enjoy Costa coffee and cake..make sum improvement soon

Very well organised with staff immediately clearing tables as it was very busy, disinfecting tables and encouraging people to sit on right size tables for number of people in party. Queue was long but dealt with expertly by 2 ladies.

The baristas seem to be really good at this this Costa...never had a bad coffee. Small but clean and comfortable indoor seating area.

Only 1 man on all the time if its busy you can wait ages. He makes good coffee though!

Fast service, staff friendly and polite. Only downside really was how busy it is and the lack of any social distancing, but that wasn't the cafe's fault.

Very very slow service, 5 people on duty but still had to wait a very long time for our drinks and then my wife's hot chocolate had barely any cream on top compared to other branches of Costa. Better training required on how to cope with being busy!!

Serve and selection of food very good, just need more staff to clear tables , as lots of the tables were empty but still had plates and cups etc on them,. We had to clean our table before we could sit down.

The man behind the bar was friendly and efficient..sitting area was full of crumbs on the bench side, although table had been wiped. We sat in 2 armchairs ..I was very upset when an eldery couple arrived..there was a big queue and rhe lady walked with a stick and was clearly finding walking difficult and painful. She went to come in the exit where there was nobody except a waiting/clearing staff member, to sit down He refused her to come in..so the poor woman had to struggle passed around 12 people..at least then hobble to the nearest table as she couldn't stand in the queue. I was shocked and distressed as the waiter should have made an exception under the circumstances..I went to the downstairs counter to report this but they informed me that Costa was separate from Next...his behaviour to this elderly lady completely ruined my coffe experience at Costa

Very friendly and excellent service by the 2 girls working there today (1st July).The shop was spotlessly clean and very Covid safe with tables being well spaced out and a one way system in place.

It is what it is. Guaranteed a standard quality without experiencing anything special. Nice place to hang out with friends without feeling pressured to leave when cups are empty.

Popped into the Costa at Next yesterday - very impressed with Covid precautions in place : tables were very well spaced out and cleaned btw each customer unlike many coffee shops atm . The staff were very efficient only allowing you to take a seat once a table as cleared and cleaned . Lovely hot coffee and fresh cake brought to me on a tray once seated. Well done Costa staff😀

While sitting at a table today, drinking coffee and doing some work, we were verbally attacked by a group of OAPs!! The incident came out of no where and left us feeling vulnerable... think we were sitting where they wanted to be!!! The staff at Costa were incredible. They intervened and ended up asking the instigator of the attack to leave and made sure that we were ok. The staff were incredibly supportive and proactive in their actions. They made sure we felt welcomed and valued and their customer service was exceptional! Thank you Josh, Sophie, Tino, Katie and team... you’re fantastic and Costa are lucky to have such fantastic staff!!

Good nice modern Costa store. Staff here are always friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are always of a good standard. Can get a bit busy around midday.

Well it said to queue to get your food and drink and then you have to go back out past lots of people and queue again to wait for a seat! Gee whiz, fortunately we had cold stuff so left, we had done 15 minutes of waiting so I suggest you leave it unless they are empty and pop up the road instead!

Visited Sunday afternoon and waited 15mins to be served. Only two members of staff were working hard.

Coffee good. Staff doing best they can but not enough of them so we queued for ages before being served! Don’t go if you’re in a hurry.

Very nice will visit again when next in Shoreham

Was at Southlands's Costa. Very good latte and helpful staff who carried my tray to my table.

Costa has replaced Starbucks at the Next Store. I popped by on Wednesday, it's first day of trading. The seating arrangements are much better than before, more seating and comfortable to sit on. The bar area is bigger and there is a lot more choice of food and drink than previously on offer. It's still early days yet but it's definitely an improvement on what was there before. Good Luck

Costa in Southlands Hospital, Shoreham by sea. 2nd visit here. The coffee was not good when we visited a year ago. It is still awful. Doesn't taste like Costa coffee should! It's far to weak! I think they need a new coffee machine! Will not visit again!

Doesn't take Costa point cards; food selection is about a quarter of a normal Costa shop; the card machine stops working so often they even made framed signs about it — wouldn't need anything so durable if it was happening occasionally.

Visited this week and thought I would try their breakfast that finishes at 11:30, arrived nearly ten minutes before this only to wait in queue as only one person taking the money and making the drinks, when I eventually got to the till a second person asked me what I wanted and when I said breakfast she abruptly told me we were too late as it was 11:33. I tried to explain that they it was just too late and the delay was down to them not serving me quicker. She told me she had finished breakfast and we couldn’t have any. So based on my experience if you think you can pick something on their menu to eat for breakfast at there adveritised time I would not count on it. I do appreciate I was only going there as a customer to buy food that the outlet serves, when they can be bothered, but understand cooking a whole fried egg and sausage and having to put in a buttered roll is very strenuous and was probably asking too much.
