The Farmers is one of the last proper pubs in the local area! A great selection of beers on offer, 2 pool tables, darts, kareoke, and really good food! The staff and management are very welcoming and friendly, especially Sam who always provides amazing service with a lovely smile! A really great atmosphere 👌🏼

Good traditional pub , good selection of beers and lager, chilli was excellent. Thursday was lively with pool and karaoke all going on

Such a fun pub love Sunday fun day with the meat raffle and they always have a singer on. It’s absolutely amazing. Got so many activities through out the week and always fun and welcoming. The managers are fun and bring a good atmosphere to the pub. Defo recommend

Popped in with friends when passing by, good location right near the station. Landlady is very friendly and welcoming as are the rest of the staff will definitely be back.

Great, lively, fun atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff, good clean pint and a lovely prosecco. Huge range of spirits available and good selection of soft drinks. The pub itself was clean and the brass gleaming. All in all, a great afternoon/evening had. Thank you all.

The farmers is a great place for a cosy drink with your family and friends with the most amazing staff ever! a lot of entertainment and it’s just such a sense of community! we have solo artists, bands, singers, the meat raffle every sunday and so much more! come and give us a visit! my mum took over this pub 8 weeks ago and we’ve been made feel so welcome and we are trying to improve it slightly, we have the best customers who support us dearly! but honestly come and give us a visit guys! thank you for making us feel so welcome, we appreciate and cannot thank every single customer enough! ❤️

It's a local pub, rather for regulars. They drink a little too much, then they fight a bit and it's very loud. We were here half a year ago and weren't feeling very well. The food was quite tasty.

Pub is under new management and were incredibly helpful when an altercation between myself and another patron turned violent. I have Aspergerers syndrome and they made me feel very safe and secure. Good pool table, darts and an open fire on these chilly winter months. Great outdoor decked area and good selection of beers. Well worth a visit if you're passing by for a pint and a chinwag.

The pub is under new management, so i thought id pop in, i was greeted by lovely bar staff,they were amazing, very welcoming. I will definitely be returning. Fantastic experience.

There was four of us and we nipped in for a quick drink yesterday afternoon, greeted by lovely friendly Bar staff I think her name was Abi not sure two of us had Guinness which was bloody brilliant well pleased with that and two soft drinks I’d say an average price, but was nice and friendly and lovely, roaring open fire I definitely recommend it And we’ll go back there again

My mum took over this pub 2 weeks ago and she’s made it feel like home and welcoming in such a small space of time! the customers are amazing and so inviting! thank you so much everybody for welcoming us! we are very grateful! the pub is amazing! amazing singers, karaoke is always a great laugh and meat raffle every sunday if you are up to win some tastalicious snacks for the whole family! family and dog friendly establishment! 100% recommend !

Amazing roast dinners, Beef was cooked to perfection, roast spuds were spot on, veg and gravy was lovely, highly recommend!

A local pub for local people. Reasonable prices, well kept pints but the punters can be a bit larry. Couple times walked past and it was a bit fighty outside. When inside the same, but more tame in all fareness. Good amount of space for a DJ on the weekends but more of a venue that relies on it's regulars than new traffic.

Proper locals boozer, have used it a few times and it's always been ok. Will show the footie if you ask, assuming not already on and seem to organise events etc pretty regularly, hosts private parties etc too. I like it.

Ouch £6.50 for a pint of Stella! Is that really how much a pint is around here?

It was ok met some very friendly people and dogs 🐕. Quite welcoming.

Good place to watch sport and play some pool

Albe the manageress and her staff were fantastic. My wife had her 40th birthday there. We had about 60 people, and the staff made us feel really welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Great atmosphere. The DJ was fantastic, playing all the right stuff and even went out his way to get my wife and I's wedding song. Food was great, prices for drink was reasonable. Would absolutely use again and definitely recommend for functions. Gonna be my new local for a drink now. Well done Albe. 5 🌟

Come in for some drinks, was spoken to disgustingly by the woman behind the bar, telling me that my disgusting flat drinks were fine because they had been checked yesterday.Cola instead of coke. What even is that Shouted at constantly about the fact it’s table service.. yes lady I know but YOUR NOT WAITING TABLES!! Primark white tee shirt & leggings isn’t exactly smart work attire but i guess for that dive it’s fine I’ve never been to a pub before & been spoken to like such dirt & had such disgusting drinks. Who knew carling was supposed to be flat? Would not recommend unless your the local alcoholic or a smack head. AVOID!

Plenty of room, drinks reasonable

No social distancing here!! So didn’t go in and carried on walking with friends that were here for the weekend. Watched young people walking in and out as they pleased, all gathering together. Hope the staff and management sort this out for when the new government rules apply this Monday

Just been down to the farmers for the regular Boxing Day visit by the local Morris Men as usual but as it is raining they are holding it within the pub. Being in a wheelchair it is impossible for me to be able to get inside to enjoy the festivities because there is a terrace with a 4/5 inch step to overcome before you get to the actual door and this has a massive wooden door sill to get over as well. Absolutely no disabled access and no website where I could send an email to point out the problems that I have had.

Popped in with friends, warm and friendly welcome, very local pub but was involved within their conversations and jukebox playing within minutes, great people, nice smiley staff, will be back :)

Good for a Pint after a hard day.

Nobody came to the bar until I walked round it and it felt very much like a fight could break out at any moment. One to avoid....

ignore kirstys review as used to work there and was sacked and now works ar the new sussex nice place but no food apart from sundays does not have to have a bouncer on the door weekends like the monk give it a try

The bar staff where amazing. And very good with dealing with payments. Unfortunately a friend I was with was VERY rude to the staff directly. Witch caused them to be rude back. Though it was well deserved, it would have been 5 stars had they kept their composure till the very end. Not an insult against them but their final remarks where horrid

Had a jar with my son....."clicky" not a place to take youngsters.. staff very good..music good...old skool pub....pool tables..etc

Was in the area and thought we would go for a drink. Didn’t actually get through the door. Lots of noisy drunks outside. Swearing and shouting!! Not a good advert! Feel sorry for people living nearby! Got back in car and went elsewhere

Rather old, dark and inviting. Drinks were okay No atmosphere in the place No food available - apparently don't do food. Was rather a surprise as most pubs do these days to stay alive!?

I have been going to this pub for a while and the last 8 months have been the best I have ever seen it. Yes! it has had it`s problems in the past, but all that seems to have been addressed . I have watched the rugby with my mates, I have had a beer with my Dad and I have played pool and darts with my kids and in all that time I have never had a problem. Nile and his partner are doing a great job. Very welcoming and a lovely atmosphere ,even my Dad said so!!

I've been drinking in the farmers for 2 years since I moved down here never had a problem with anyone. The staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome along with the customers. I have read some of the other reviews and I must say £2 for a game of pool? I have never paid that in there so I don't know where that comes from. On occasion you will get a few free games but it's not all the time which is understandable. I pay £1 for a game and so does everyone else. More importantly the beer is great.

In the farmers tonight, love it here always felt welcome, always had a good time. Love the place. Looking forward to pool on Monday with the regulars :)

Great free pool. Till they charge you £2 each. Was racially abused within the first 5 minutes of arriving by a guy snorting coke in the toilets. Still to be fair it's probably best pub in lancing.

If you are going to advertise free pool, it's an absolute disgrace to demand £2 per person to play. One of my mates only played one game and was still made to pay up. The attitude of the guy asking was disgusting. I often visit the area and initially thought I had found a nice new pub to play pool in. If you are not local then please take my advice and save yourself from being scammed. If like me you just want to have a few games and a few beers just go elsewhere. I'd rather pay upfront then be scammed. Also witnessed the racism here, if you are looking for an EDL social club this is probably the place for you! If I could give zero stars or even minus I would!

Nice place but gave up on getting a second drink due to the fact the staff was more interested in playing pool than.serving

Great friendly pub, plenty to do during week whether your playing pool, watching the footie or just socialising with friends great entertainment at weekend's. Lisa and Mark are a great couple and staff are very friendly come in and see for yourselves.

Amazing pub, live sports with BT Sport and SKY Sports , free pool on Tuesday , Thursday evenings and Sunday , Live music every weekend and Karaoke on Thursday's . New management since April 2013 and going very great vibe , pop in ! :D

This place has got so much better recently. Has live bands football ect. Great place will go again very soon
