We weren't expecting much, as the coffee was the same sort of price as well known chains, but it was surprisingly good. With a quieter and altogether better ambience compared to most local coffee shops. Good polite service from staff who actually spoke English clearly (the two, sadly, so often don't go together in modern England and far too often you get neither). Worth calling in for coffee, but I can't comment on the food, as we didn't have any.

No prices were displayed either on a board or on the items. Ordinary cheese sandwiches wrapped in cling film at £4.95 is overpriced. We had to ask for a plate. Tables not cleaned either. For legal reasons, all prices should be displayed for customers to be able to make informed choices. Poor experience before an evening show. Please display your menu and provide a clean environment.

We had a lovely time, the staff were very helpful and attentive (we were a party of 12). Two small things made the mark down from 5 stars to 4. Five items on the menu were already sold out (at 1pm) and the food came out bit by bit with one person not getting theirs until some of others had actually finished their meal. Also the 2 children's meals were nearly the last to come out - it would be good to get the kids eating first, or the adults can't concentrate on their food. Otherwise we had a lovely time and we will be visiting again.

1 Ash StreetCame in around christmas time, was incredibly busy but Carly made sure that we were always tended to, i would come back again because of her amazing service! she’s a real gem to the greyhound pub.

75 Dorking RdTook potluck booking a table here mainly due to location as our group were travelling from different parts of Hampshire and Surrey. What a stroke of luck.Timely communication.Personable helpful staff who delivered great service despite having a full restaurant.All the food (10 diners at our table)arrived hot and at the same time and every plate not only looked splendid but was delicious. Can’t praise then enough.
