What a joke! Went into the shop just before 10.45pm and they only have ice creams available

I went on Pancake Day and I wouldn’t expect the standard of service to be this low! When you walk in, unless you know you’re meant to get a table, you’re hesitant to get yourself a table in case someone is meant to show you there and when I pointed this out to the server, he didn’t understand and asked what table I was at and didn’t speak in a very respectful tone. Secondly, there were marks on my table that I thought wouldn’t have been missed when cleaning but they were. I still sat there & there was a fly buzzing round me at one point which really reflects the cleanliness of the restaurant & when I got my food, bare it in mind all meals come with a side of creams ice cream, this other server didn’t even give me a spoon- I had to ask for one! Would not go back again.

Usually this place is a place that’s a really nice to come to and nice company from the people working there. I came in yesterday with my partner who struggles with eating, and anxiety. so it was hard enough to even get her to come in and eat. she ordered herself to which she was told “that’s a lot of food, i hope you eat it all” as she wanted some bananas and strawberry’s on her waffle? We tried to ignore that and then once her food was brought to the table she was told “there is your massive waffle”. excuse me? Sometimes opinions should be kept to themselves. people don’t know what anyone is going through especially with problems with eating. Not happy with the service at all.

Honestly I would love to come here every weekend. The atmosphere is amazing and the prices are not expensive for what they offer

Unfortunately, we ordered creams through Deliveroo and the waffles and cookie dough was cold and minimal. It was dried without the sauce that we ordered. Please do better.

I went here today for my bd party and we all loved it so much. The food came 5 mins after we ordered and it was amazing. But a little while after I started feeling a bit sick and nauseous, i'm not sure if this was because of something else or the food.

I absolutely love this place!! The staff are friendly and they treat you very well. They are excellent!! The food is simply delightful and I never get tired of it. The place is kept clean and is a good vibe. The food is top-class even when ordered on deliveroo/uber eats. I highly recommend!!!

Overall a pretty standard experience. Ice cream was nice but the staff all seemed either stressed or angry, we were served by a very grumpy gentleman who made us feel that we were a nuisance rather than paying customers. Honestly, I wouldn't go back. Not worth it.

Just took 6 kids plus accompanying adults for a 7th birthday party. Brilliant. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. All the awkward orders handled perfectly by a till wizard, everything arrived very quickly. exactly as ordered, and everything tasted as good as the pictures looked. Definitely recommend.

Great place to come with my daughter. Her favourite place in Guildford and its quickly becoming one of mime too.

RISK DEATH. Yes, that may sound dramatic, but it is very important that anybody who is thinking of going there reads this beforehand. I went in and ordered two milkshakes, one Smarties and one Kinder chocolate. The unfriendly waitress behind the counter called me over once they were both ready and said here is one Snickers and one Kinder. I queried this as I ordered a Smarties and a Kinder. She said oh sorry, I meant to say Smarties and Kinder, so I asked her if she was sure about this, and she said yes. As my wife has a nut allergy, it was quite concerning as to whether her milkshake was in fact, Smarties or Snickers, the latter containing nuts aplenty. I tasted it before giving it to her and it tasted very nutty and therefore was the snickers one! I went back and saw the same officious woman who again disagreed with then proceeded to try the milkshake and then agreed it was Snickers. No apology despite me telling her how careful she needs to be in future as this could be fatal potentially. She knew exactly what she had done but played dumb. I then proceeded to email Creams via their website that same night to advise what had happened and requested contact back but heard nothing. This was over a week ago and pretty much demonstrates the overall poor service of the staff and management who just do not give a damn about people’s welfare and lives.

Went to Creams in Guildford this evening and what makes this place so enjoyable is the outstanding service of the staff. They are always welcoming and the ice cream options are superb. A real treat for anyone who visits.

Me and my sister were wanting ice cream and Creams went above and beyond with the best tasting, warm cookie dough and combination of ice cream. It was such a special occasion with quick service, friendly employees and a lovely booth to sit in privacy. Thank you so much for making our evening special x

Took a Girlguide group of 30 people in for an end of term outing. The whole thing was so well organized by the very friendly staff at creams. They explained how things could be ordered so that it worked out easiest and best for both parties. They knew exactly what the kids needed and gave a fantastic service, would certainly recommend to any youth groups for an outing.

Yummiest desserts here. So pleased that our favourite, nutty bannoffee waffle, has returned! Unbeatable!🍦🧇 Lovely place. The sparkly walls, mirrors and especially the slideshow of desserts on the screens keep our little ones entertained while we wait for our desserts. Highly recommended!

Had white chocolate cookie dough which was nice and warm. Quick service and friendly welcoming staff. Was getting busy when we visited but well staffed. Would have liked the option of leaving out the soft ice-cream and swapping it with flavoured gelato for a little bit extra, instead of the regular charge for one scoop of ice cream. Will be back to try other desserts.

Great place to catch up with friends, lots of options on the menu, tasty food and big portions. Sadly it was also a bit expensive. £1 per topping. If you want some slices of bananas, it's £1... I am better off buying 5 bananas and chopping them myself for the same price.

It’s not even summer but it’s so warm in here, there is no air conditioning. We started sweating when we got in.

Visited for my sisters birthday after eating dinner elsewhere and had a good time as always. Creams is the place to go for desert and has good vibes, with good aesthetics and great food. I always rate the toilets where I eat and I was a little disappointed that there's only one toilet available, and the area outside the toilet has missing roof panels/ cables hanging down which is the only area I can fault. Otherwise everything else is top marks!

Although they did not have hot chooclate (!!!!) due to the steamer being out of action, the staff were great, really nice, friendly, let us bring other drinks in from outside (as my young twins wanted hot chocolate) and i ordered a shake. They let us hang out for quite some time even though i technically only ordered one item from them. Really nice, pleasant atmosphere to relax in.

Reasonable selection of products. Was empty when we visited, however many products were unavailable such as savoury items. Service was fast and friendly. Whilst clean, it desperately needs refreshing the decor. Portions were massive and was quite expensive. £30 for 2 adults and 2 kids, but I guess it's consistent with other dessert shops. Probably wouldn't visit again

Delicious dessert in a purple palace! Loads of booths to grab a sweet treat, tonnes of choice- gelato, sundaes, crepes, waffles and hot drinks. Thoroughly enjoyable for all ages.

Last week we ordered takeaway ice creams Was very disappointed not much of a choice Very sweet sauces and sorbets, they should do plain ice cream with not so much junk in them if you ask for a strawberry sundae I would like ice cream and strawberries not crammed with sweet sorbet sauces chocolate sprinkles etc, can you not muse something simple which maybe more. Very much a guilty pleasure of mine in Guildford! The range of deserts is great, they have a lot of ice cream flavours, and the coffee is good. My favourite desert is the Millionaire's Waffle (pictured), but anything here with chocolate is amazing :) There is now a range of plant-based and vegan deserts. I haven't tried these yet, but they looked interesting. You can usually get a table at any time. We last stopped in at 3pm on a Saturday and although it was busy, we had no wait. A desert and drink will set you back around £12. Just don't look at the calories printed on the menu!

They now just seem to become a little careless about presentation and taste. After having tasted waffles and crepe at other places recently (same prices)and gone to creams, I have to say creams Guildford lost that effort its now just sugar. Quality has gone down and their effort is trying to make something delicious.

I didn't actually go to the store, I ordered via ubereats, but they sent me roses n I guess only the people working on the 12th of september evening will know but thank yall for the rose, made my day <3 the food is always good and the staff are very helpful, i just wish I could credit the them, 100% recommend

Came to the store today, and the staff was so lovely and great, they was very polite, happy, welcoming, they greet you with the smile. Very helpful with the menu. The food was delivered quickly, delicious, happy costumer, the manager said I should come back more often :) at least once a month. Thank you the girl for making us the waffles very nice, thank you to all the rest of team.

Just stopped at the Guildford store. It was 4:45 on Sunday and there is a bouncer at the door!!! He then asks me to stand at the bottom of the entrance ramp and wait to be seated. The place was almost empty . It took him several shouts to get any attention from the staff. Eventually I’m asked if I want take away or eat in. Eat in please and I’m shown to a booth amd given a menu and told to go order at the counter. I sat down and faced the entrance. The bouncer randomly asked some people entering to wait for assistance whilst ignoring others. Why does a ice cream shop in Guildford on a Sunday afternoon need a bouncer. ??? And if you do, try training the individual and equip them with some basic understanding of your company policy. Unless sloppy a La night club inconsistent security is your policy. I shall stick to eating magnums in future. The ice cream was overly sweet and not high quality.

The place is rather dark. The menus could do with being renewed as they were rather grotty. Maybe laminate them so they could be wiped clean! Staff were friendly enough. We ordered three sundaes and they were on the table almost instantly and yet we never saw anyone actually make them. Are they pre made?

Creams was recommended to me by Amro, however, I felt disappointed. I bought the waffle and ice-cream and my experience was of an overly sugared cheap dessert. The ice-cream lacked flavour, the waffle was too soft (a good waffle is crispy) and the cream a'tello topping was too sweet and too much. Overall, I had a sugar overload and I can only recommend this for those who REALLY like a lot of sugar in their desserts and don't mind a low quality (although big) waffle.

Not very welcoming all the staff were sitting down and I had to go find them and didn't seem in a rush to assist me with my order the sundae was nice though

Absolutely appalling. After having such a craving for a sweet Sunday treat, we decided to come to Creams Guildford. At first we were pleased with the large variety of choice on the menu, however we were very disappointed afterwards. The cookie dough was dry and didn’t come with ice cream like it said it would. It was £6.95 and a tiny portion size. The so called cookie dough stuffed waffle had no cookie dough in, looked nice upon arrival but after diving in we soon discovered it was a pile of rubbish. We also got two slices of ‘cheesecake factory’ to takeaway. For £7 a slice it was basically a slither, and came in cheap styrofoam boxes that made it look like adesert out of a chicken shop at 4am. Staff were also all moody and quite unwelcoming. Waste of journey and money, wouldn’t recommend ☺️

Went last Tuesday for the first time and I absolutely loved it !! Had ordered Royale waffles and it blew my mind. The staff is extremely welcoming and hospitable too. Loved everything about it ❤️ Great work👏🏻👍🏻

Experience in creams was horrific ! Terrible service , false advertisement on the menu , absolutely terrible , what a disappointment for something that’s meant to be delightful. I came here with my family, and on the menu there are various amounts of deserts that aren’t what they say they are, for example , “stuffed cookie dough waffle” with a picture on the menu showing what it SHOULD look like , this of course was not how it came , the waffle was just like any ordinary waffle , but the price was more expensive! Terrible service when explaining this to the staff , to the point where they physically walked away from me , a customer that is meant to be looked after , while the manager stands there and laughs not saying one word , I am absolutely disgusted by the behaviour of the staff and the lies on the menu Do not go here as it is a waste of money for something not worth the time and effort for , to be treated like you shouldn’t be there! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THIS!

Just purchased the stuffed cookie dough waffle which is advertised with a picture on the menu only to receive a normal waffle with the cookie dough on top and not stuffed inside as advertised! Not only that it is more expensive than a normal waffle ??? What a joke of a place

Friendly service which is also super quick! We enjoyed waffles, ice cream and warm cookie dough delights today and the kids couldn’t have been happier! Would definitely recommend if you have a sweet tooth -it’s not the cheapest but worth it for a special treat 🍨 🧇🍦
