An intimate, cozy evening snuggled away in their comfortable seating just off the high street, Guildford . Olesea is a phenomenal host introducing Moldavian wine to our repertoire. We are elated with the discovery and look forward to visiting again soon.
Delicious and independent veggy and vegan cafe in the heart of Guildford run by very friendly owners.
Just what Guildford needs.
To start I had yummy homemade mushroom and leek quiche accompanied with fresh tasty mix of different salads.
I stayed to write my Christmas cards being so behind with Christmas, they didn’t mind at all.
All that Christmas card writing made me hungry, good excuse to enjoy a lunch of mushroom stroganoff, salads , followed by Fruit Crumble and cream. Yum.
Set in a lovely, atmospheric, historic building. Good value too.
Great little vegan cafe / lunch spot. Had an amazing black bean and pickle burger served on a ciabatta bread. Nice wedges with rosemary on the side and a delicious smoothie. Lovely family business as well. Would definitely recommend, not just for vegans.
I discovered Pasta Out during lockdown, so unfortunately there was no availability to sit down and eat within, but the golden side to this was that I discovered their lovely take away service. The pasta is absolutely beautiful, so much so, that I will only have dry pasta in the house for emergencies only. There is a great choice of freshly made pasta and if they don't have any left, they will make it for you there and then. Easy to cook and beautifully fresh, soft and tasty. Highly recommended.
Had intended to go to Wisley , but bus driver said today i have drop you all in Ripley High Street. there is shuttle bus to Wisley. No Shuttlebus , and a number of foreign visitors from Guildford were also stranded,.
Our first visit here we were greeted by friendly staff. The coffees were served nice and hot - good prices, too. Browsed the small farm shop and bought some lovely, fresh rolls. The only downside was the three large dogs in the small café area at separate tables which made it difficult to avoid them.
We walk in Norbury Park most weeks starting at Crabtree Lane in Great Bookham. We usually aim to stop for a coffee at the van called Wild About Coffee which is located by the now sadly closed Saw Mill. It a great place to meet other walkers many with dogs. The service is welcoming. We pay by credit card.

After shopping and with time before the next bus home, this is the ideal place to rest in an airconditioned environment, very Covid-safe, and enjoy a coffee and cheesecake, as I did today.
M&R have widened their food offerings with the addition of hot and cold breakfast and lunch.
Today I had a jacket potato with butter chicken and coleslaw. The potato had been properly oven baked and the butter chicken was very tasty. Coleslaw made an excellent side. All for £7.00.
New menu board attached.
Coffee and cakes continue to be top class.
I was very impressed with the food from here, highly recommended. The fish and chips were cooked freshly to order, and both were cooked just right.
Nice crunchy batter on the fish with fresh, tender cod inside. The chips were nice and thick cut and had a crispy outside with soft potato inside. Even after a 15 minute drive home they hadn’t gone soggy like they tend to from some other places.
Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £11.80 which is more than most charge local places for the same meal, but the quality of food was worth the price and the portion sizes were generous.
