The most delicious wines in a fantastic location. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

A real find. I have walked past many times without noticing but this time something drew me in. Excellent pork croquettes, unfussily served, with a glass of well kept wine, enjoyed whilst sitting in the sun. Service is attentive, friendly and discreet and the prices are, for Guildford, surprisingly reasonable! Highly recommended.

We had a really nice time! The place had a cozy vibe with great music, and the wine was fantastic. I tried one that wasn’t quite my taste, but the owner was so helpful and kind, and helped me find one I loved. My partner’s white wine was also really good. We also shared a cheese and salami platter, which was tasty, but the portion felt a bit too small for two people and a little expensive for what we got. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely come back!

A great little spot in Guildford, great wine choice and nice tapas style small plates. It was nice to be able to sit outside on our one summers day! Staff were very attentive. Will definitely return

We stopped by to have a glass of wine. The very friendly waiter recommended the Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand (or was it Australia, I’m not sure now) and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely wine, really nice service, great location on central Guildford, just a genuinely nice place.

Lovely wine bar in town, we love the outdoor seating in the summer for a drink. The staff are always really friendly and the drinks are great - love the Porto tonic!

We booked Journeys for a small drink reception following our wedding. We had a fantastic time and were very well looked after. The food and drink were brilliant and we were looked after very well on the day. We would definitely recommend to anyone!

One of our favourite places in Guildford. Extremely friendly and excellent food and wine! Also do an incredible chilled port. In the summer it's particularly great as they have seating all outside Tunsgate!

Recently had my second delightful evening at Journey’s and wanted to spread the word! You are made to feel so welcome, and the quality of the food and drink are just fantastic. Joao is the perfect host and it’s lovely the way he shares his knowledge and passion for Portuguese food and wine. Thoroughly recommend ending the evening with the chocolate cups filled with cherry brandy!

Lovely staff, really enjoyed a quick drink and cheese board. Good selection of wines, will definitely be back to try more! Cheese board for one was £15, but worth it given the quality of the products used. Thank you.

Always a pleasure to while away several hours at Journeys. Lovely wine, lovely atmosphere. Only problem is that you will probably spend more time there than planned!

Just stunning! We stumbled into this delightful coffee shop / bistro after 3hr car drive abs having never been to Guildford before, feel as if we left as friends! Super chilled relaxed service , simple food done exemplary and just delicious We will be back

Really enjoyed my first visit, it won't be my last. Really interesting selection of wines served by Joao who has a real interest in wine and in ensuring his visitors have an enjoyable experience.

A great find. Independently owned and it shows. The uniqueness of their selection of food coffee and wine. A fusion of Portuguese and Latin food makes for a delicious combination. The coffee is the best quality Colombian coffee can offer. I have not even mentioned the service. Attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

Fantastic delicatessen with cafe inside and outdoors on a pedestrianised street. Extremely friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Freshly cooked chorizo was to die for. Will be returning for sure

My husband and I visited here in May this year - purely by chance as we were heading off to another restaurant that had been booked. We sampled a couple of glasses of bubbles, met the wonderful owner ... loved it so much we came back after dinner to sample some more wine and bubbles and a few of the cheeses... and then chorizo!! ..... I have friend visiting from overseas this weekend and I know just the place I am taking her to (my husband and pooch in tow!) for a glass of something delicious to wash down some of those wonderful cheeses - can't wait!

The service was great, as well as the food (although a bit limited in choice). However red wine was served at room temperature, which was way too warm. I would recommend improving that. Also it did smell detergent when we arrived.

We just had such a lovely evening here! A beautiful wine list which is very reasonably priced for the quality, and a cheese board to share. Loved the relaxed atmosphere, and the owner couldn't have been lovelier. In a Guildford which seems to be dominated by chain bars and restaurants, definitely recommend this gem of an independent!

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat for lunch, but somehow ended up ordering everything on the menu. Great little place with brilliant dishes. Wonderful wine selection and it makes a perfect dinner treat. The coffees here are pretty great too. We go back every time we’re in Guildford.

Stopped in for a coffee as this place is also a café. The coffee was great the owner was very friendly and the Pastel de Nata are the best I've had in UK.

Stopped in for a couple of glasses of wine before dinner and were tempted by the small charcuterie board. Host / owner was helpful and pleasant and recommended some great wine :) Had a great feel and will definitely go back
