Costa Coffee in Chiltern

One of the most friendly, welcoming Costa shops I've ever been to. I go regularly and am always happy with the service and friendliness if the staff.

I've been drinking my coffee there for a long time, but from Nesca they won't go there, they don't have anyone's service, my wife and I won't go there anymore for cold coffee, and after I told him they started laughing

Experience in costa has not been the same since new manage and staff have been there it makes you feel you don't want to go in there anymore and I have been going there ever since it opened

Experience in Chesham Costa, is just not great, the manger is rude and short on patients.

Every time I order from Costa via Just eat they send at let one stale item. Today it was the almond and raspberry bake.

Today 11/01/2024 at around 8.45am I visited costa coffee, the guy who was making the coffee today was extremely rude, he couldnt operate the till for a few seconds when there was an error and he began swearing, this is not the first time, he is in fact always rude and arrogant. I was leaning on the counter where they pass the coffee to the customer and while i was talking on the phone he even told me to back off.

Cavernous place, tiled floor, clinical atmosphere. Drinks and food are alright, all in all kinda what one expects from a multinational concern owned by Coca Cola.

This Coffee Shop in Chesham is quite large. It sells Marks & Spencer Sandwiches. Hot and Cold Drinks. Cakes, Pastries and Croissants. They will heat up Panini's which are available from the Chilled Cabinet. Eat In or Takeaway.

Took far too long considering I only ordered a hot chocolate and a panini

I know it’s Saturday but I found just a few choices of treats displayed. It’s quite busy so the staff should restore to let people order what they want. Apart from that, very good coffee and good food, love Costa brand!

Quality of the toasted sandwich was poor. Hot chocolate was still very hot though. Delivery was very late (by half and hour). Won't bother with delivery next time, will just go into the shop

Really dreadful Wi-Fi, like most of the Bristal Investment franchised stores. & most expensive drinks, again like most of the Bristal Investment franchises.

An especially good Costa - usually with a good range of the chain’s vegan options (just missing the lotus cheesecake you find at their “stores of the future”), with a friendly team and a large space. The interior is larger and better configured than many making it an excellent place to work.

My order is over an hour late and says your app it was delivered and I’m still waiting absolute joke of service

Well located Costa shop in tranquil Chesham.

Terrible service, worst I have seen in a while - rude baristas, two aggressive men. Friends drink was not filled up to the top, more like halfway! Ordered small drinks and ended up paying for medium. Worst customer experience.

This is quite a large branch of Costa and as a result I think it lacks any atmosphere or ambience. I also find it incredibly dark inside. On the past few occasions I have visited, the staff have bickered with each other which hasn’t been pleasant. I find it quite strange that this particular branch isn’t dog friendly whereas others are. It is generally quite clean and tidy but I would recommend other establishments in Chesham for a coffee.

Delicious panini, cinnamon bun and lovely large cappochino. Staff as friendly as always

i really love Costa and this is a very nice place. the only thing i would say is that there is sometimes a lot of flies buzzing around, which obviously isn’t Costa’s fault but it is a bit annoying. side note, TRY THE BUBBLE TEA ITS AMAZING 🤩

Costa is a favourite of the chain coffees, but the staff at the Chesham one are the best of any of their locations. Always welcolming and create a great community place.

The roll was very hard round the edges. Over heated or not fresh? Cinnamon bun not usual one and poor condition.

Friendly staff. Needed a mint to take the after taste away of the coffee!!

Ordered a regular caramel latte and received an iced caramel latte…so annoying. When it arrived, the coffees had half spilled so the bag was all wet and torn at the bottom.

Original eta was 14:20, arrived at 15:14. Blondie was broken.

I've been in a few times now and some of the Batista's recognise me and know my order. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, but I'll take it ;-) Always polite and courteous and my Americano (with pouring cream) is as I like it. My go to place since moving to Chesham.

I’ll lived in Chesham for just shy of five years now and can honestly say this is my favourite place in town! Friendly staff, good coffee and a warm, relaxing atmosphere always awaits- what more can you ask for? Thank-you Costa Coffee , it’s places like these that help keep communities going.

This is the biggest Costa by far for miles. It can easily accommodate 100 people.

Very impressed by the taste of steak sandwich. Perfect place for a Sunday morning breakfast.

Located on the high street and within easy walking distance of the station, this Costa has everything you'd expect and is especially well run. The staff are both friendly and quick at making drinks whilst there's plenty of seats making it easy to relax and enjoy one's drink. The coffee tastes fine and the result is a pleasant drink in a charming town. What more could one ask for?

We enjoy going to this cafe when shopping in Chesham. There is space to sit especially at the back away from the door in cold weather. We do enjoy our coffee here.

It's a big room. OK as Costa Coffees go; friendly staff, nice colours but no real atmosphere.

Nice place to sit for a while, plenty of vegan cookies and non-dairy milk (though I think there's an extra charge?) etc but really disappointing to see that none of the savoury food is vegan unless you want crisps or porridge. Other big chains are way ahead.

Staff seem to be working very hard but it was very slow for just one tea and coffee.

Took my great nephew who wanted a kids frappacino can't believe how nice the lady serving us was so friendly and excellent customer service including him(age6) in the conversation.Not saying other Costas aren't but the staff here were lovely and the young lady that served us was exceptional and should be commended only sorry I didn't get her name.

Somehow they managed to make a panini soggy. And the price of coffee is ridiculous considering the amount of profit Costa make

Drinks were basically poured out of a ready made bottle, added ice - tasted grim and ignored by the a manager on entrance as she delegated jobs to a junior member of the place. Only popped in to use my free coffee coupon - glad I didn’t spend money here. LOTS of great independent coffee shops in Chesham loads better.

Local lunchtime coffee stop. Can get busy at lunch so order and collect on the app. Staff very pleasant.

Costa does not consider people who is lactose intolerance as we have to pay extras for alternatives, eg, soya milk. Which it is free in other coffee shops like nero

Nice coffee but I still think all coffee shops are too pricey so I rarely visit. I had a coffee & as it was a catch-up with old friends, I then had a green tea. It was the worst one I've ever had - the bag was awful - better bags from Sainsbury's for pennies.

I have never met such a rude member of staff in my entire life. I visited this Costa today and tried to use a gift card that I believe had a small amount of money left on it. As the staff member (who I believe was the manager) swiped the card, her till froze and broke. She somehow blamed me for this, and after multiple times of throwing her hands up in the air in annoyance proceeded to bin my gift card and storm off. Throughout this entire interaction she didn't say a single word to me, but merely communicated through a sequence of angry hand gestures and grunts. I am genuinely speechless at such poor service. If you ever visit this Costa, make sure you don't use a gift card as you may be held responsible for the broken till!

I have used the Chesham Costa a few times. Most staff are nice and there has been a good atmosphere in the past when you could sit inside. Last week was a good experience (takeaway). One staff member is rude sometimes though not seen her recently.

We popped into Costa in Chesham on 23/11/20 around 4pm. The service was terrible. I honestly wished we hadn’t bothered. She clearly didn’t want us there, she questioned our drink order, questioned my method of payment and then slammed our drinks down once she had made them. My drink was lovely but my boyfriend wasn’t impressed (I think it was more the experience than the actual drink). We won’t be returning when there are much friendlier places to visit in the town.

Great size Costa. Staff lovely here too - well, except for the large lady with the short hair and tattoos. A visit to charm school is much needed for her. I felt bad for interrupting her paperwork, despite her standing in front of the till. However, she's the only downside... would've been 5 stars otherwise.

No too packed with people, tried their new honey comb falvour latte which was quite nice.

The Barista Who served me and my friends were rude us. She gave us dirty looks and spoke to us in a rude manor. She questioned my order choice which really isn’t her place at all. I’m very disappointed I love it here normally, not impressed with the staff. Customer service should have been friendly and welcoming, however I did not receive this service. We were here on the 19th of August 2020 so if you know who was working that day at around 2:30 they were extremely rude.

This is a lovely coffee shop with a nice atmosphere - very peaceful and a great place to stop off to relax after a stroll or shopping. The staff were friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our visit here. Good coffee and cake selection.

Went into Costa today and at 830 am it was nice and quiet. A good place to relax and unwind. Breakfast was good. I had a breakfast wrap which was filling and it looked like all food was available in the fridges. Latte was good too. Staff friendly and service was quick.

Usually room enough to sit privately, service is prompt and staff cheerful. Happy to return if passing.

Unlike usual Costas this place was very spacious - good for prams. Friendly staff, warm and clean inside.

I was so happy with chesham costa, I have recently moved here from South Africa! And the ladies who were working. We’re so friendly. I remember one of the girls kiley I think her name was she told me her favourite food so I brought it! And it was the best. The music was so peaceful :) everyone was so friendly. Thankyou costa chesham. Will be coming back in soon :)

Popped in for a quick cortado on the way to work. I fail to understand how supposedly trained staff can get a coffee so wrong. I should have had an instant coffee, it certainly would have tasted better than this attempt!

Disappointed with porridge. Very sugary. High on points if you are doing Weightwatchers. Staff always friendly.
