Service is great, food is great i have a 1 year old and he enjoys the atmosphere i’ve been coming here for best part of 14 years and this places has grown i wish the staff and the owner the best in the future.

This is our favourite cafe in Camber. An essential stop off on every visit. Prices are reasonable, food fresh, and staff very pleasant.

Delicious food. Really fast service despite it being busy. Highly recommend the jacket potatoes, they were massive with loads of toppings and a lovely fresh salad on the side. I’ve Been going to camber for over 25 years and this is the first time I’ve been in here but will definitely be back next year. Staff were polite and friendly despite it being a nasty day weather wise.

A good selection of Cornish Ice Cream, convenient indoor seating area to enjoy your ice cream if the weather isn't being kind.

Absolutely awful food at extortionate prices! Kids burger and chips same portion size as a regular burger and chips. Chips were so over done they were hard and taste like they’d been cooked in old oil so they weren’t eaten, and burgers were the frozen budget type tasteless and fatty! The other dish order breakfast 4 not any better egg undercooked, hash browns overcooked in old oil and to top it all was given not cutlery. Do not recommend any cooked food by the standard we were served today

Everyone seems to be very lovely and very understanding kids

Terrible management. They need training for customer service. Food was even worse. They have posters for freshly baked pizzas but were heating up frozen pizzas. Terrible. Unfortunately people visiting the beach will have less options and be stuck with this.

Management seemed rude and useless. Food was also awful and overpriced. Wouldn’t even recommend this to the hungry seagulls lurking on the seafront.

Great location and great jacket pots. Service very good, clean tidy establishment. Staff work so hard and always accommodating, makes all the difference to us having a really enjoyable holiday, great selection of ice creams too. Food menu caters for all.

Absolutely a must of a cafe to visit when at Camber Beach. Been coming here for years now and never had any problems at all with the food. In fact I have only praise for the staff who work extremely hard with so many customers in high season. Love their jacket potatoes with various fillings and ice creams. The toilets are very clean and modern. This place has been established for 80+ years. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. I had a cheese burger and my daughter chicken nuggets and chips. Burger was juicy and very tasty and bun was super fresh. The nuggets actually looked like chicken on the inside and were also super tasty. Initially I was a bit hesitant to buy from here as the prices were a little bit steep, but well worth the purchase as the quality for a beach restaurant was arguably better than any other around the British coast line!

The staff are nice and the ambience is great. Nice toilets too. Ordered a cheeseburger and it was just okay (but I won’t recommend the burger). Bland, cold bun and just plain patty and greens at a very pricey rate. Still good to drop by if you fancy ice cream or drinks. 👌🏻

The young lady serving us was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely recommend to everyone and will be returning.

Located on the beach at Camber. Dine in or sit outside and enjoy the views. Got and cold food and a selection of drinks and snacks are available along with ice cream and lollies. I had nachos with added chilli, it was a huge portion,very tasty too . I couldn't eat it all!

I loved the staff and place, amazing breakfast and had a lovely pims in afternoon! Only down side is seagulls lol they stole my toast but staff were very good and willing to give me more. Love the fact you have the cafe, shop and bar on the beach.

During our week break , we visited this cafe 4 times, they were the only place open for food and drinks . The coffee was very niceand the staff were very friendly . The cafe was very clean with clean child freindly toilets. Food was a bit hit and miss, we had some very good. some not as good . We mainly brought chips for our grandson and they were served nicely but needed to be cooked a little more. Had a great pizza. and a great muffin. scampi and chips not so good also needed more cooking

A cafe in a great location overbooking the beach. The ambiance totally spoil by a crappy commercial radio station being played too loud over the speaker system. It couldn't be turned down or off as the controls are in the manager's office and he's not here. No need for it at all.

Food really isn’t that great but it’s a nice place to sit and have a drink when the weather is good

Such a lovely cafe, the staff are fantastic, the food is lovely and the view is beautiful. We always come here. It's a lovely location 😊 can't wait to visit again in the summer.

Nice easy location on a lovely beach but the food was inedible and expensive to boot. The food was basic - sausage & chips for kids and bacon sandwiches for adults but was disgusting. Avoid eating food here.

The food wasn't value for money and I did feel a bit over charged. However the view compensated for it so I am not going to complain this one bit. Overlooks the sandy beach, on a sunny day this place would be heaven!

Fabulous spot on the beach at Camber Sands. Clean facilities, good quality food and friendly helpful staff. Would highly recommend it. I had a scrummy fish finger sandwich and bought a small bag of treats for my dog. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely view.

Went today for some lunch with my family. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They adjusted to my family’s food requirements with no trouble which is rare to experience. Cafe was very clean considering it’s on the beach. To top of the great food and service the scenery is beautiful. Will definitely be returning soon.

We went here for lunch and it was the worst meal we have had for over a decade! Shame as location is lovely. We ordered bacon sandwiches and the kids had sausage and chips but it was basically inedible. And cost £35! Terrible food. Expensive. Poor service (long wait & grumpy staff) AVOID EATING HERE

Yes the famous KitKat cafe, lovely location, beautiful views of the beech and sea from the outside terrace, dog friendly too, dogs allowed inside, good coffee, you could actually taste the coffee, Rocky road is yummy

Terrible service I ordered breakfasts which got delivered to the wrong table to people who had just ordered their breakfast. To add insult to injury when I went in to ask about our food they told me there was no order for my table. Then I noticed the couple that had been behind me in the queue had been served also. 6 staff on duty there were only half a dozen tables with customers dreadful £28 for 2 tasteless breakfasts and 2 coffees...absolute rip-off. The other reviews I read here are also accurate regarding poor service Will be returning to the beautiful beach but NOT to Kit Cat Cafe!

Loved the food and polite service

Just love this place and what they stand for! Not only are they offering a great place to just be, enjoying a beautiful presented coffee (which can mean a lot to some) and a spot of cake, but they're also (and more importantly) giving people and rescue cats the chance to connect so they might give each other a wonderful life together.

Massively overpriced. Cheap food, bad service, only saving grace was the location but I don’t think I’d even pay £5.50 for beans on toast on the moon to be honest.

Avoid like wild fire !!!! Horrible food, soggy fries. The cheapest Ingredients for every meal. Hot dogs are disgusting. Ridiculous prices for cheap food. You can see they want to make quick money over the season. Luckily there are other places with honest owners. Shame on you.

We went to the cafe and had burger and chips, the chips tasted frozen and dry and the burger was ok but not very fresh. Overall it was edible but not great so I would not recommend.

Generous breakfasts and good bacon sandwiches. Everything seems freshly cooked but usual boring burger and chips style fayre or synthetic cakes. Fresh made sandwiches though. Really friendly efficient staff. Atmosphere should be 5 stars due to great position on beach but only giving 3stars because of terrible radio station music and ads from early breakfast onwards. Please can we have some peace at least in the morning and low key music rest of time that’s not off the radio.

Tables were not wiped clean. We had sausage rolls and chips for 3 people ... with tea coffee and coke 30 odd pounds? We were hungry so ate. Cheap chewy and probably microwaved. Not meaning to sounds harsh My mum had a hair in hers we didn't complain as didn't want to cause a fuss. The ice creams very overpriced. We feel this place has a monopoly as right near the beach. Packed lunch for us next time!

Food is expensive but expected for a tourist hotspot. Unfortunately the only redeeming feature of this cafe is the younger members of staff. The older man and woman have a serious attitude problem. The food took a long time to come out, and there was no soap in the toilet soap dispensers (at 11:30am). Cannot recommend this place unfortunately and if you do go, I hope you don’t have to experience the older two.

Overpriced food cheap ingredients at the sea-front

I visited your café yesterday with my class. (year 9) we had ice cream, drinks and chips we found your customer service to be polite and understanding, we have been comparing food price in local business and we found yours to be a little high. 1 student found the chips to be a tad over cooked, over all nice a experience

Nice place on the beach very busy

Food was lovely for a tiny place. Perfect location on the beach, just below sand dunes. Yummy ice-creams and lollies to try.

Stopped here for a cider with the family they had slushies, icecream and donuts so all were happy. Full licenced bar, gift shop and food.

Slow service. Spent 30 mins waiting for toast. The sand dunes are littered with the large Pepsi cups they serve in. Rubbish all around the cafe.

Had a great day, grandkids loved it as did granddad & grandma 😊 Will be going back to the Kit Kat Cafe for sure. Top marks to all who work there. 😊

Portions are disgusting, food is tasteless and severely overpriced

Cheesy chips plus drinks=£13.25You're paying for the view/locations if you accept that you can swallow cost! The staff are interesting, large personalities which you have to embrace or do one! All in all it's worth every penny for the location watching the sunset within the golden environment.Horses may be enhancing the experience

Great views, right on the beach, lovely for a cup of tea & portion of chips. Dogs allowed inside which was fab for us. Would recommend.

Depends on what you are expecting but for a quick lunch and drink with an amazing location this spot is hard to beat. Simple menu friendly staff. I loved stepping off the deck and straight back onto the sand

I came in here to get something to eat and drink. 3 staff were behind the counter, but completely ignored me waiting to be served, after 5 minutes I had to walk out as no one was serving me, even though they were staring straight at me.

Really friendly staff and well priced considering their position of prominence on the beach. Great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Would rather go hungry than eat here. Rude staff. A lovely elderly couple sat near us having jacket potatoes they both had walking sticks and clearly limited mobility, they left them to attempt carrying hot drinks out which my dad spotted the guy coming so ran to help him. When I took my daughter to the bathroom the gentleman had walked all the way back up to ask for cutlery which they hadn't bothered to bring out, she dismissively told him was near the tv, he was stood looking confused for a minute so I went and got it for him. Zero courtesy. I hope they get to experience the same when they are in that stage of life.

Good place to eat especially being on the beach so didn't have to pack up everything just to eat. Reasonably priced and more importantly food was really nice. They used proper beef in the burgers and proper cheese (not mcd's cheese). The chips were decent and a decent portion as well. we had what was pictured and it came to 41 pound. We waited no longer than 10 minutes to be served the food once ordered which is very good. I have given 5 stars due to food quality and all round service.

Still one of the best shops/cafe on a beach

We ate here (lunch) early August and it was very nice. We both had tuna mayo jacket potatoes with a side salad and it was tasty and the portions were generous. It was a beautiful day and the beach was busy, so we had a little wait, but you could tell the plate had not been thrown together, it looked attractive.

We stayed in camber for 12 nights had about 7 beach days and spent them here.. great facilities with young kids, food, bar, ice cream and trampolines. Service was impeccable and friendly special thanks to Gerry (bar), Courtney and summer (cafe) and Graham (trampolines). They made our stay fantastic coming from Australia to visit family .. the weather also helped a little too ☀️, would highly recommend

Stayed here in their apartment on the beach. What an amazingly eautiful place to wake up. You could be anywhere in the world. Beautiful golden Sand, literally on the beach . Inside the apartment is beautifully decorated with a balcony for early morning tea. Will definitely be back for another stay. The Callaghan Clan.

Incredibly rude - seemed racist. Made loads of unnecessary and rude remarks because we went to use the toilet with my young sick child despite being paid customers. Rudely told my friend not to use their bins to throw the rubbish - could have been polite about it

Great place to hang out on the beach, enjoy food n beer, staff and service is lovely aswell. And found out they have couple of apartments to rent on the first floor too.

First time coming here, unfortunately I found the lady with brown hair that initially served me to be really rude and I was consciously polite as I know they must have been under a lot of pressure. Thankfully, the other lady who gave me my food was really lovely.

Polite and friendly staff in even though they were rushed off their feet lovely place to sir on the beach for dining or just for drinks looking forward to afternoon cocktails thete highly recommend this venue

I can't understand why this cafe doesn't have a higher score. Great breakfast and friendly staff, despite it being super busy (and there's probably a reason why it's busy!) I'd definitely come back again. But watch out for those pesky seagulls ;)

Very friendly people. Coffee's, ice cream, cake, beers etc. Exactly what's needed on a hot beach day. Plenty of seats with shades.

Had a great breakfast here during our weekend at this great place. Nice food, reasonably priced too. Can eat inddors or outside and with the addition of the beach bar (not used by us) its a great location for refreshments right on the beach 😀

Lovely place to have a drink on the beach

Great little cafe. It is clean, staff are friendly and the food is lovely, as well as there being a beautiful view of the beach. Was the highlight of our stay at Pontins; would love to return to the cafe!

Stuff are lovely if u can find them at times at the beach bar shop Both bars are linked. Food is very nice, girls are fantastic, very helpful x Welcoming and ready to help. Can't fault it, these guys are good!! Really nice place x

If you're happy with less than average food that's overpriced then this is the place to be!!! The staff are far from friendly. Customer service means nothing and the owner is as rude as they come. The only plus was the absolutely stunning view of the beach!

Stunning views from the outside deck, but inside seating is very basic, with no views of the sea Menu is small and unimaginative. Soft drimks are mainly from a gun. No cans and a few bottles. Proper plates and cups for food and hot drinks...

Fresh cooked full English! Definitely recommend this place if you are in the locality.
