Coffee shop located inside Tescos. Seems to suffer problems with its dishwasher they have an official sign printed to state it’s out of order. Staff seemed more interested in preventing people sitting down from 1 O’clock on a Sunday. Did have the misfortune to go there for a coffee once and find due to a problem with their machine no coffee was available. Shame I never knew before my 2 mile walk to get there.

Tom an his dark haired female colleague are the reason il never return to costa anywhere ever again what a joke and a bad example of costa!! outrageous disgusting behaviour from two grown adults, Made my order with my mother received our drinks went to leave, I turned round to catch the pair of them mocking us making faces at us,… for what reason is this needed ? I suffer with mental health and have disabilities why on earth are your staff mocking people making customers feel this way I want to know why ! It’s absolutely appalling that humans in customer service can be this rude and cruel to people for no reason what so ever as if I had a costa coffee maker making faces and mocking me on there own cctv it’s just laughable il be taking this further as who on earth are they to treat unfortunate people that way

The 2 male operatives (we used it around 2.15 on 1.1.24)are most professional and efficient.I also bought Costa card as well as coffee,older man(dark,handsome,bearded)explained use really well Younger man was cleaning tables between rushes. Well done those lads. n

Costa cannot make sandwiches! Last 6 months always been M&S Sandwiches, this week I bought a BLT which was just filled with White FAT & SOGGY Lettuce, my friend a Prawn sandwich and she said the bread tasted wet and stuck to the top of her mouth. Just Awful. Brink Back M&S

Typical Costa, decent coffee and a sandwich/cake selection which is available in all shops. Service was with a smile - the barista had a sense of humour - and again, you know what you are getting.

We were an extended family of ten.We are regulars as we live nearby and in the past have generally been satisfied but unfortunately things did not go well today. We ordered drinks but they took half an hour to arrive. The meal choices had been given some time previously giving the names of who was ordering what but clearly the staff were totally unaware.They arrived with two starters but didn’t know who they were for.We had to struggle to remember what we had chosen weeks ago.Then another two arrived.Eventually there were still two starters outstanding but the time they arrived everyone else had finished.Exactly the same happened with the main courses and the wine that was supposed to go with the mains was so late in coming that we rejected it as no longer required.My main of salmon was very poor as it was fishy,overcooked and dry.This service shambles was repeated with the desserts. We complained to the manager who cancelled the service charge on the bill and reduced the drinks prices by 50% but this did not compensate for the disappointment on a special occasion. We like to come to this hotel but the quality of the food and service has to improve and they must recognise that patrons on the same table must all receive their food at the same time.This is fundamental restaurant procedure. We have already previously booked for New Year’s Eve so this is going to be make or break as to whether we and all our friends and acquaintances maintain their custom at this hotel.

I don't want to give a bad review to a family owned restaurant. But there was so much wrong with this place that is easily fixed. The staff were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving and while we were there there were 2 tables full of dirty plates and cups that stayed that way the entire time while the staff enjoyed chatting. If I am eating in with sandwiches and a salad I don't really want to eat out of takeaway containers, the least that can be done is to put it on or give us plates. The food offering is mediocre at best and nothing of any substance that is hot. It is like no real thought has been put into what is being offered, for example soggy croutons with salad, basic would not be difficult to offer soups etc. Overall pretty poor TBH
