Excellent hidden gem - the family room was very spacious and very comfortable. Service is on point all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Pool is a bit small but ok to dip in and for the little ones to enjoy

Quite disappointed, chicken was sort of hot and my chips were cold when they arrived. The Mac and cheese wasn't very nice.

Visited for a baby shower, there where 13 of us and had a lovely section in the conservatory by the garden. We were served by Ethan at the bar and then again at the table. He was very attentive, has a lovely professional attitude and friendly. He kept checking back if everything was ok and if we needed anything. The food was fabulous, lovely tasty burgers and fish and chips were popular choices with the party and all cooked and presented beautifully. Chunky chips were so fluffy inside. We had a great afternoon and have to say a massive thank you to Ethan who didn't stop smiling and nothing too much trouble for him and the chefs for the gorgeous food. Will definitely be visiting again.

Had a really lovely evening meal here. We hadn’t booked and it was very close to the kitchen closing, but the staff found us a table and made us very welcome. The food was delicious, the service great and prices reasonable. The back ground music was just right too. A great place to go.

Lovely visit here today. You can always find that unusual gift. Also a lovely little restaurant, very friendly staff and nice out door seating and children's playground.

Been here 2 weeks running, as it's one of the few places that do a variety of salads and ploughman's...old style salads...no fancy grains/ beans etc...just salad vegetables and coleslaw with ham or cheese etc...and they are very fresh, delicious. Very good service. Friendly staff. Lovely food. Great beers! What more could you need. Excellent!

Excellent food. Good menu range even on a Sunday - roast was generous and delicious, the local beer battered fish was cooked to perfection, and very good duck salad. Good choice of desserts. Range of beers amazing, as usual. All the staff were friendly and helpful, even at the end of a very busy Sunday. Very impressed with our visit, and would highly recommend.

First time visiting since it being under new management and can honestly say we definitely weren't disappointed. We had a table booked in the snug area as it was dog friendly. The food was outstanding and the staff are friendly and attentive. Pricing is very reasonable and their set menu is great value for money. We were a party of 3, all had mains and desserts with huge compliments all round. Will most certainly be back and also be highly recommending to others.
