Oh Nandos, I'm heartbroken. I'm a big lover of nandos and rarely have issues with them. Today however things didn't go well. I ordered a takeaway because I just wanted to grab some chips and run. I ordered a large chips, PERinase and PERI chicken gravy. I had 2 small children with me which is why I wanted to be really quick and kept my order basic. They asked my if I had an allergy, which I do. I explained I do have an allergy but as I was only getting chips I didn't think it was worth getting the manager to take my order. As that would delay things and I just wanted the order to go through quickly. Staff were polite and lovely however my order got lost and after 20min of trying to keep my small ones still I had to ask if my order was coming soon. Unfortunately, my order had been forgotten but the nice staff said they'd get it out right away. I understand sometimes things like this happen but i was getting frustrated. They gave me my order after 25min wait and I rushed out to pay for my parking ASAP. I was down to 3% phone battery at this point and was worried I'd be out of battery before the food got to me leaving me unable to pay to park. Mercifully I managed to pay to my parking and I high tailed it home to get stuck in my chip. To my dismay and utter heartache of my hungry tummy, when I got home and opened my order I realised they'd got it wrong. I ordered large chips but I got a large chips with PERI salt. Something that, to my knowledge, I'm allergic to. I must admit I've not checked the allergy menu recently to see if the PERI salt still has ingredients that I'm allergic too. But I know that I used to be allergic to it, with a dead phone battery and no charger I wasn't able to check this again. So in the bin my chips went. And I have gone hungry. I'm starving and disappointed. The whole experience was very stressful from start to finish and I'm more that a little hangry now. All I wanted was some chips when I've had a rough day, the peri salt has tipped my sanity over the edge.

Food was dry suppose to get a call from nandos head office for my discount card it didn't happen I wasn't happy at all with the service I got and food as well very poor general management control service

Firstly, I must point out that I’m in my mid 70’s and my first visit to Nando’s. However, we eat out at least three times a week. So, we are not unaccustomed with restaurants both in the UK, Europe, mainly France, cruises and Africa. Although, I must admit we tend to eat a more traditional cuisine. The quality/proportions value is the worst I’ve experienced ever. The restaurant is poorly designed and I could her the kitchen area better than the family sitting opposite. The food as presented was ok in the main. However, the frozen oven fried chips were the poorest I’ve eaten. I understand that the only person who was within 40 years of my age, was the Just Eat delivery driver and I’m not the group’s target customer. It is just disappointing that younger customers accept poor value for money.

Arrived and had to wait 20 minutes for a table which was the only understandable thing about this visit. Half of the menu was unavailable which we where not told about. One of the servers dropped a tray on the floor, and proceeded to use it without washing it off. We ordered our food and when the first plates came out they reached across the table over people to pass out the plates rather than walking to the other side. The last 2 dishes came put after 50 minutes of waiting, and where cold. We asked for these to be remade, and took another 10 minutes to come out. Poor experience, would not reccomend.

Nice ambient place. Liked it overall. One of those few halal nandos. Must try the cheese cake. Finger licking good.

Lovely place halal for the family if your going pualtons park only 20 min drive depending where your hotel is. Lovely as always

The food at Nando's is always okay, I don't see why everyone loves it so much as it is on the pricey side for grilled chicken and something you can easily make at home. However the service in Nando's Fareham was exceptional

We had a great meal here before the cinema, the interior is tired and could be cleaner but our meals came out quick and were tasty.

Had to wait 20 minutes, due to being busy, but was worth the wait. Service was quick, we ordered on the App, the food was spot on, each of us [4], thought the standard of the food was excellent. Got to say the standard throughout the Nando's restaurants is always great. 👌

1/8/24- I've been to this branch a few time, but this time I felt very racially toned today. Went with my family and were sat around the corner at a table that no one could us from at all, completely covered, bare in mind the entire place was empty at the time we arrived. Our food came out later than people that arrived after us and not once were we asked if everything was OK, when again, others were. Usually they give out colouring for kids, which they did, for others...my child was overlooked. It baffles me, being the only halal branch close to us to have this sort of experience. Safe to say, we won't be returning again.

I had the pleasure of dining in Farehams Nandos for the first time. We were a big party of 18 a very last minute decision to head over to eat here. Staff quickly put together tables to seat us. We were served by a lovely gentleman by the name of Mason. He was very attentive and polite he made us feel at ease. We varied from adults to children and we all had delicious food cooked to perfection. Honestly, this was one of the nicest Nandos I've been to. Thank you Mason and crew for making this a pleasurable evening. We hope to visit soon!

Great little Nando’s. Usually very nice. On my last trip it seems liked no one knew what they were doing. Felt like the staff were super rushed even tho the place was not very busy. This was on a Thursday evening.

The best halal Nando’s in UK. Never disappoints! Amazing service and great food. Highly recommend Sunset burger and chicken wings and the new Soft Serve ice cream💯💯. I specifically travel to this Nando’s from Southampton. They also accept Blue Light cards/NHS discounts.

came in yesterday with my 2 friends, staff were amazing service and friendliness wise, really great quakity food too, gonna be a regular spot for me now :D

I’ve been here a few times and tried to give it a benefit of doubt as it’s the only halal Nando’s close to us… they’re busy, these things sometimes happen etc but today we waited 30 minutes due to lack of staff to be seated (this is what they told us as they had plenty of tables available) once we were in the food was ready for at least 20minutes under the hot waiting area (I could see!) but food was brought late. The chips were cold & stale. Chicken had hardened due to cold. Was disgusting. I won’t be coming back & definitely won’t be recommending to anyone else. Avoid like the plague, not worth your money!

Chicken was warm not hot, chips were cold, corn was cold, food in general looked of tasted reheated, but not hot,staff were nice just very disappointed with the food

If you like spicy stuff or less tangy Nando offers a good range of flavours. This branch is looking a bit tired decor wise but the foods the same good value good taste. Self ordering the food comes out fairly quickly and is really hot.

The only good thing was the £4 portuguese beer, and the waitresses. The chicken wrap was expensive, small and the chicken tasted out of date as always in these type of franchised restaurants. No really worthy for the price, it caused me diahrrea.

Some of the decor is looking a little tatty. Food times are good main area for sauces etc is generally well stocked and staff are generally good

Great food and staff, but long waiting times

My son loves it here, the restaurant is always clean and tidy, the staff are welcoming and the food is excellent.

Haven't actually eaten yet but drove up from about half an hour away and actually super worth the drive. Needed a table for four and got a smaller tighter table originally but after about 4 minutes they actually came over to offer me a booth! Great stuff nandos this is how you treat your customers well done!

Food was good as expected from Nandos but there was a very long wait. We went 1h before closure time. The restaurant wasn't that busy but it took over 30 mins to get the food. The staff were pleasant but disappointed about wait time.

Halal chain! Amazing! They also provided free dates during Ramadhan for Iftar.

For a long time now this has been our favourite Nando's . It is convenient the staff are friendly and the excellent food always arrives in a timely manner. Unfortunately I haven't been in for some time as I am now seriously ill,I was determined to go in today so in we went my son and i.Imagine my surprise when my son came back after ordering and said it was all free because the manager was pleased to see me back,What a marvellous generous gesture . Tthankyou i thought it was lovely.

Busy but swiftly seated and served. Food was excellent. Staff polite and helpful.

Very busy, only slight issue was the garlic bread was cold, all else was good. It was full, but a process was in place to take your number and give you a call when a table came free, it simply worked.

This is a very nice addition to Fareham town and is a nice place to go in if wanting some lunch or dinner. It is a great location located right next to the car park so it has easy access for parking and then the rest of the town for shopping. The times I have been (during lunch time) has generally been very quiet with maybe 2 or 3 other families or couples in there making it pretty peaceful inside. I can't speak for the evening time. The food is good quality and the service is quick as expected from Nandos. My only complaint of this Nandos is when it comes to delivery the food quality drastically lowers and can be very hit and miss but this is likely due to the transit time where the food is sat while waiting for a driver.

A very pleasant experience, chosen because I didn't want to go to the one at Gunwharf Quay knowing that it would be very busy for Saturday evening. Although Fareham was busy too it seemed like a lot of people were having a quick bite and then leaving. The place was very nice with a good atmosphere and the staff were very pleasant. A short drive from Portsmouth but well worth it.

Probably the only halal nados in south coast. Really friendly staffs, always there to help and amazing atmosphere.

Closing 8 pm but 6 pm they said finish Chicken and every single items can’t have anything such a bad service should say closing 6 pm not 8 pm

Best Nandos I've been to in ages!! Compared to our Exeter one, your almost michelin starred!! Great food, great service. We arrived really early lunch though... maybe that's the key at nandos

We walked in with no expectations, received a very welcoming greeting with the explanation of the house, even tho the waiter seemed to be working solo on the tables. Good food, with part self service on the sauces and drinks, which was a surprise and a nice change of pace from other restaurants.

Bought a wings roulette and the chicken was not prepared to standard due to being busy and was very disappointed. I hope they get it right next time.

I ordered online for a 5.30pm pick up. When I arrived at 5.30pm I was told that the order was delayed but should be ready soon. After 20mins of waiting, I asked the lady at reception if she could find out what was going on with my food. She seemed a bit annoyed that I had interrupted her paper folding, went up to the counter and returned with my order. So, I don't know how long it had been up there, but when I got it home 5 mins later chips and garlic bread were stone cold. The chicken was ok, but over cooked and very dry once into the meat. I will go again to get my free chilli meal, hopefully things will improve.

Food quality was excellent. Service was very slow and they seemed very understaffed. Many mistakes in what was brought to the table.

Always a lovely eating experience in nandos we come back alot however the just eat / takeaway orders ruin the dine in experience with a 45 minute + wait for food and a busy / crowded area for people waiting for orders, nevertheless waiter was great and food was lovely.

Went here a few years back and wasn't up to standard, visited 3 days ago and it was definitely up there. Well done for improving nandos fareham. Service was fast, food was good, even with the restaurant being full.

Dry bun and chicken won't recommend

Not going to lie had a late lunch at Nando’s today and it was one of the best ever everything was cooked to perfection. Not going to lie have one last week wasn’t that great but Today, everything was just perfect

As good as I remember from previous visits to Nandos elsewhere in the country. Little dearer though but still reasonable value for money.

This is the reason why i don't go nandos nor recommend any1 despite i love their food, rude staff very very slow service and untrained incharge..ordered our food @16:38 was not ready till 17:00 & told waiter to pack it because gonna miss our bus wasn't ready till 17:10 and we were requesting to hurry up lady incharge of orders was so rude some how grabbed it and ran away eventually found out our coleslaw was missing..someone please tell her customer service doesn't mean working lips lot rather than working your hands enough in a fast pace outlets..Every one is busy might be very very busy and very hungry enough but has to catch up more important and critical stuff than 28quid food but has got no choice🙁

I like this nandos, one of my preferred branches. Usual nandos fare.

The table was sticky. Service wasn’t the best. The Froyo wasn’t nice. Overall the food was good but it wasn’t the best.

We were seated very quickly, staff were very friendly and professional. Plenty of seating available. The food was really good, arrived quite quickly, and oreder is via qr code, so there is plenty of time to pick and choose. Children were very excited so didn't get a chance to take a pic. Thank you Nando's for a great evening and a great last treat of the summer 😁 we will definitely return soon 🍽🍗🍟🥦🌽🍽

Great for dinner, menu had lots of choice and service was quick.

Went for lunch with the family and the food was perfect as per usual and what made the experience great was a meal was missed( our fault) and the manager made sure it was replaced within minutes with no hassle and couldn’t do enough to support us. Great customer service given and I’ve been here 5-6 times and never had a bad meal or a bad experience in the fareham restaurant! Keep up the good work guys.

Honestly as Muslim I really enjoy coming here. It’s halal and it feels like rather eating take out with the family or friends. You’re going to a sort of fancier place to eat. Chicken is always solid but tbh at times when it’s busy the food may be colder compared to normal, but that’s understandable. The staff absolutely carry the business as they’re friendly and asking if everything is ok which makes you feel cared for which who doesn’t like that sort of hospitality. I even cut my finger miraculously from the water glass bottle and they gave me a plaster within under a minute. Moving onto the atmosphere. With the seating space it’s quite enjoy full. You feel like you have your own space at the restaurant making you ignore the surroundings tbh. So good job on that. Even parking outside the restaurant is handy. After 6pm it’s free too. Honestly love you Nandos fareham. You guys are awesome.

Absolutely disgusting came in for a meal with my girlfriend and the place was like a bomb had hit it, on top of that the chef was in baggy jeans and a T-shirt ( not hygenic at all ) it is a shame as I will not ever be coming back here again and I will be recommending to all my friends and family not to come here. Food was average at best, chairs where sticky and so was the floor, as for the tables were sticky and food all over the chairs 🤢🤮

I had food poisoning from this place 5/6 years ago which was really BAD and didn't really want to come back. It's halal so we have come here every now and then since and service is always amazing , this time the sunset burger buns were crispy rather than hard, and all the food was spot on. Can't go wrong

Exceptionally happy with the managers Jay helpfulness and professionalism. Had some issues with a salad and he potely helped and sorted out the problem that I was having. He has exceptional customer service skills which is a rare find these days . Thank you very much for making our linch enjoyable.

Went during ramadan, and the customer service was amazing, the best I've had. They were very accommdating to people that couldn't eat until a certain time and made you feel welcome. The food came out 1 minute before we broke our fast, which was honestly perfect. I've been to other restaurants and they would not cater to you like that. Nando's is literally my go-to, and this experience has put them in my top 3. I hope they carry on like this every year during ramadan as a lot of muslims would be very grateful.

Went to Nandos Fareham with my partner as she had never been to a Nandos restaurant before. The whole experience wasn't great. An hour for food to show up after it was left on the counter, no cutlery and had to ask for some twice. It seemed to us that the staff were more concerned with getting Just Eat food orders completed or looking on their phones. The food when it did arrive was luke warm. Expected better from a well established company. We won't be visiting again.

Tiny tiny tiny chicken thighs. Tiny tiny tiny portion of fries. Totally underwhelming and disappointing. Poor lighting, couldn't read the menu properly or see too eat, it mite of been easyer if the food was Larger target portion. Won't be going back!

Family dinner out. I ordered the boneless chicken platter for two (as I was starving) and I made sure I asked for the skin to be removed. Platter came out fairly quick but I noticed that the skin was not removed. Called one of the staff over and showed her the skin on the chicken breast by pulling the skin off. She took the plate away to correct it. A minute later she came back with the same platter saying that because I have touched the food she can't take it back or redo the order! I was quite upset as she asked for confirmation regarding the skin, I have not taken a bite out of the food either! She turned around and left. Very poor customer service. I'm not a complainer but this was clearly a mistake on nandos side and I expected to be corrected. I won't return any time soon. Shame....

Was feeling the urge for some spicy chicken and was satisfied. Not a fan of the burger buns as they seem to go a bit hard. Overall the options for food are great, staff excellent and the drinks were unlimited.

Patience at Nando's Out recent visit to Nando's proved to be quite the test of patience. Upon arrival, the wait time for a table was significantly longer than I expected at 35 minutes. Once we were finally seated, we faced a 45-50 minute wait for our food. This extended waiting time was disappointing. On a positive note, the food - when it finally arrived - was delicious and flavorful, consistent with the high quality that Nando's is known for. However, the service timing could definitely be improved. I hope that Nando's takes this feedback into consideration and works towards ensuring a smoother dining experience for all customers specially on special occasions. Despite these setbacks, I look forward to returning in the future, with the hope that these issues will be addressed.

Great service especially Jim, came in when the first opened service was amazing great work

This was our first ever time at a Nando’s so we weren’t sure how everything worked, however we were soon asked if we knew the process and were rapidly brought up to speed. What I was also very impressed with was that we were asked if we had any allergies on arrival which I did as I’m severely allergic to peanuts, so I was given a tablet computer to look through before placing my order. Care was then taken to ensure my food was safe for me and I felt reassured and in good hands. We really enjoyed our meal and it was even better than we expected. I’d say some things on the menu are a little pricy but we opted for something that felt reasonable. We asked for our deserts to be brought out which took a little while and we received an apology from the waitress but we really didn’t mind as we weren’t in a rush anyway. The chocolate cake was to die for! We already can’t wait to return!

Chicken was very dry and tough,told the waiter but he just said ok and walked away,not impressed will never go back very over rated.

A very popular place to eat and the only Nando’s in the area to be halal. We ordered the family platter which tasted great. The staff were very helpful and made sure we were happy with everything.

First time at this branch of Nando's but not my first Nando's! Went as a family as a last minute dinner after a busy day. Was sat at a wobbly table right in the window. The restaurant itself needs a lot of TLC paint work was badly chipped and chunks of wall missing... Being big fans of Nando's we were looking forward to our meal as it is one of our favourite places to eat however when the food came it was barley warm and the chicken was very dry. The side salad had seen better days looking rather brown and soggy and the glasses were dirty. We picked at what we could and left. Upon gathering everyone outside I noticed a very inconspicuous sign in the window stating that the chicken was halal. It is great that Nando's caters for this type of meat however had we known prior to visiting we would of driven further on to Whiteley where it is not halal. I understand for some this isn't an issue at all but I do think You need to make it clearer that this branch is halal so that people can make an informed choice - I believe you are deliberately misleading people

I’m not a chicken fan (prefer beef) but the chicken wraps are delicious! Packed full of flavour. If you’re like me and don’t like it spicy hot, I go for the lemon.. Mmm

Never dine in here again. Very bad customer service manager is disrespectful never encounter anyone like her. I don't think she know what/ how customer service is. You need a proper training woman!!!! Food is great but few staff are awful. I am writing a review base my own experienced.
