Amazing place to go for food and drinks. Staff are very welcoming. Can eat inside or out .beautiful decor Set in beautiful surroundings.

We stopped at the pump rooms for a drink and a cake with friends. We visited the pump room museum and looked at the art work displayed there too. We saw where the Spa waters were tapped but they were not operational.

Called in here for tea and cake after passing it many times. Can honestly say this is a real patisserie! We had the most amazing cheesecake which tasted how I remember a cheesecake should taste. Breads looked delicious too, as did the sausage rolls which looked totally melt in your mouth. So lovely to have in independent business to try inplace of the usual chains. We will be back.

Al visitar el Butterfly Park decidimos visitar Lotties para almorzar. El área interior estaba llena en ese momento, sin embargo, las cápsulas exteriores estaban todas vacías. Debido a que era un día muy frío elegimos la cápsula que estaba totalmente cerrada y calentada. Además, tenía la privacidad añadida para alimentar a nuestro bebé. Sin embargo, después de regresar de la zona de la cafetería para elegir lo que nos gustaría un miembro del personal nos aconsejó que no podíamos utilizar la cápsula, ya que no eran capaces de proporcionar una mesa interior a una familia que había reservado uno dentro. Debido a esto decidimos irnos.

He sido un gran fan de la cafetería. He ido regularmente desde que abrieron. Hoy, creo que será el último. La chica del mostrador que servía literalmente puso los ojos en blanco y me suspiró mucho tratando de hacer un pedido. Parecía como si le hubiera gustado haber estado haciendo cualquier cosa menos tener interacciones cara a cara con los clientes. También siempre he disfrutado de sus galletas ya que suelen ser suaves y masticables. Hoy me sirvieron dos galletas muy viejas. No es comestible. Ambos no fueron comidos y tirados a la papelera. ¿Qué le ha pasado a Kaffeteria? El personal era muy amable. Sé que la gente puede tener un día duro pero el servicio fue descaradamente grosero.

I first went to Mary Rowntrees & was impressed. When I visit Hartlepool, I’ll almost always have lunch there. The standard’s remained high, the ambiance is good, nice people go there & the price is good too. It’s warm too ! Whilst the rest of the hospitality industry is struggling & cheap heat-from-frozen food becomes more common, Mary Rowntrees remains head & shoulders above other cafés & eateries.

Un café de barrio donde el personal es amable - probablemente por eso siempre está lleno en el desayuno y el almuerzo. No, en realidad, la mayor razón es la elección de sabrosos sándwiches, delicioso café y servicio de primera. El personal hace todo lo posible por ayudar. Saca o siéntate y ponte cómodo. Merece la pena caminar desde el centro de la ciudad, si quieres probar el verdadero York. Disfruta!

My new favourite café. The gentleman at the till was so friendly and welcoming and even offered my dog a sausage. The coffee was lovely and the staff’s attitude really made my visit lovely.

Coffee & muffin enjoyable. Pity about the 2 rude staff members on the till. Discussing how they didn’t like a prefectly reasonable request from a customer within their ear shot - not too nice. FYI I visited at 11am on 16/2.

Lovely food and good service. Always enjoy our visit. Also child and dog friendly. Have been visiting regularly over the last few months and always consistently good food and service.

Went with a number of Women's Institute friends today for coffee and had my purse stolen out of my handbag. Nobody else anywhere near us except the waitress who smiled sweetly and shook her head when I asked her if she had seen my purse. My debit card was used within minutes of my losing the purse, in supermarkets in the immediate area (passed to an accomplice?). Impossible to get through to the café by phone. Not good enough.

The Vegetarian Nut Roast with Mashed Potatoes and selected vegetables (2) is scrumptious to the taste and I have had this a few times sometimes with petit pois and other times with carrots and cabbage. The sauce is just the right amount and very tasty. This dish is Mouth watering food with Gourmet Master Chef Presentation!

Well distanced inside, good food, good service, friendly staff, excellent breakfast with a great variation in types available, give it a go.

Gluten free options not good. Could not see signage for products containing Nuts. The seats and tables were not appropriate for Disabled Adults and Children. I witnessed a one-armed gentlemen try to move one of the chairs and a lady making numerous attempts to sit at a table in a motorised wheelchair.

Acabábamos de llegar a Holland Park y nuestro anfitrión recomendado la Academia para la cena. Llegamos temprano para la hora de la cena, así que no hay mucho de una multitud todavía. El servicio era muy bueno y nuestra cena en tiempo y forma. Yo tenía el pescado y patatas fritas, que era muy sabroso. Pudimos conversar con algunos de los otros comensales que eran locales, así como de los dueños. A un precio razonable. Un gran pub local. Volvería de nuevo.
