Popped in mid morning for a coffee, ended up with a delicious almond croissant to go with a latte! Really nice place to drop into, lots of delicious food and snacks to tempt you. Friendly staff, well decorated, clean and a nice ambience. Will drop in again.

We have visited this branch a few times over the last year or so. Never greeted when you walk in. The staff seem like they don’t want to be there. Everything is very slow. The food is amazing, although my sausage roll that I asked to be heated up was cold. I’ve asked for oat milk for my drinks previously and been given dairy milk. It could be so much better if it was run better and had staff that are a bit more attentive and clear tables before another person sits down and staff that actually want to be there. Just not the right standard of service for the food that is served and the price you are charged.

We only ended up as not familiar with Ferndown eateries and have eaten before in other Petite Princes. First of all no greeting, although not that busy when we went in the table hadn't been cleared. Also it was cold as the door was open so kept our coats on. It was warmer towards the back of the premises but dark. If we hadn't been desperate to eat wouldn't of stayed. We got are own menus. Went back upto order one of the dishes was off the menu. I ended up with soups. Well it was a hot broth with onions. Mum's quiche was better. The service from the till was mediocre at best. Wouldn't return to this particular Petite Prince.

Arrived here Saturday morning Found table Order 2 rounds of toast butter & jam 2 coffees, not a big order. Coffee arrived fine Then toast well warm bread which it looked like , we asked the young lady if this could be toasted a little longer the look we got from her said it all, seemed to be big ask but she did take it. Toast arrived back to us, which looked like toast. Now, this was the next issue a little lump of butter. This only covers 2 halfs of toast, still to 2 more slices to cover. We asked twice for extra butter again. This was an effort, but after asking again, 3rd time, it was slamed on our table. They started getting busy, and customers were complaining that all tables had dirty plates & cups left on them around 7 tables & outside. Again, when the customer asked if the table could be cleaned, an older lady was very rude to the customer. 2 staff for a very busy coffee shop is madness. Also, if you can't be polite to your customer who keeps you in a job, I would quite more interested in herself how she looked

The kids love to hit the playground before heading out for a walk across the heath. The café is worth a visit. Plenty of parking (pay on exit). Loos. Recommended.

Cantina is now under the new management of Janine, and she is providing a larger range of delicious breakfasts and lunches in this charming and well run cafe. There is outside seating if you prefer and a lovely welcoming atmosphere.

The coffee and food is great here but as an autistic person it can get too busy for me and is overwhelming when it is busy though that isn't the companies fault
