Had an excellent light lunch here and very reasonably priced. Had a cherry and feta cheese tart, which came warm, and a box of salad with dressing for £6.50. Also tried the ham and gruyere cheese tart, again served warm with lovely crumbly pastry. Staff were on the ball and quite pleasant. Stayed and had a coffee and a custard filo tart with raspberry on top. This is a really good value for money place in very pleasant surroundings. Would definitely recommend.

I visited The Lader cafe, i told the person serving me what i wanted to order on three separate occasions. I explained my order again. It appeared that the person failed to pay to attention as to what i wanted. The owner behind the counter accused me of projecting my voice, which i was entirely oblivious to. I spoke to another staff member and explained that the projection of my voice might have been inadvertently caused by the medication prescribed for my epilepsy. Whilst sat with my coffee and food, The owner approached me, i presumed she came to apologies for her behaviour. However. she did not change her attitude she continued to be rude. . She said, as an individual with epilepsy, I should wear a T-shirt to declare my epilepsy. I explained this was not the case. She intruded my personal space. She spoke to me in a vary loud manner, she divulged my medical condition to those in close proximity. She said that i was not welcome in her cafe, hence i left my drink and food and vacated the cafe.

We visited yesterday, and were very pleasantly surprised by this attractive eatery in the old Pump Rooms, once a medical spa and swimming pool. It is decorated with lots of greenery, and offers homemade cakes and light savouries - we chose a scone with jam, butter and cream, and very nice it was too. The staff are friendly and attentive, and we were quickly served before having a look around the adjoining museum and art gallery (which I also recommend visiting) The tables are set refectory style, which can make it a little awkward getting past other customers (or maybe I should lay off the scones :-), but don't let that deter you from paying a visit - it's a really nice little place.

Pleasant enough cafe. Sausage rolls looked delicious. Pity the spa baths are no longer operating (since 1990’s apparently). Museum is helpful. No dogs; great news!

I came today for lunch and wanted some hot food. I waited by the hot food for a few minutes. Although the staff were not busy I was totally ignored. When I complained the member of staff I spoke to was very rude and unhelpful. I cannot recommend dining here.

This is a large no-nonsense cafe with a good reputation so I chose this as the venue when I arranged to meet 13 relatives who live nearby from 1.00 onwards on a busy Saturday. Clearly a cafe like this needs its customers to move on fairly promptly so new arrivals can find a seat. So I wasn't surprised to find they don't reserve tables. We arrived an hour early to try to knab an entire table for our large party, and it helped that several friends found their way here too, either because they fancied a break after the shops, or came into the Tourist Information Office and decided to have a coffee. All our drinks and nibbles were served promptly and everyone thought the food was decent value. The first of our family group began to arrive at 1.00 including my 90-year-old aunt who walks with a stick. She decided where she wanted to sit, so the rest of the family moved over to her table, and after a little confusion we all had seats and drinks, including my cousin's 1-year-old boy. Several people fancied a cake or a sandwich, and all the food was delicious, as was the coffee. Several of us, replete with caffeine, bought a soft drink from the varied selection. We had a delightful two hours at the Pump Room and could not fault any aspect of their service. I was particularly impressed by their tiny sweet pastries. A lovely component of a celebratory weekend.

We were looking for somewhere to have a late breakfast and found this wonderful cafe. We had their breakfast brioche buns. Filled with bacon, omelette, tomato purée and cheese, these buns were delicious. Thoroughly recommend. The staff were so helpful, they even wrapped up a bun for us to take back for our son. Beautiful surroundings to enjoy a drink or a meal. Hope to be back.

Lovely little cafe attached to a good small art gallery. One of the staff recommended us the small quiches which he said were made by his sister in law. They were really delicious, crunchy pastry and tasty fillings. Cakes also very good. But the star for me was the green salad, it had a really varied selection of greens including lots of fresh herbs, with a delicious herby dressing. Honestly the best Green salad I have had in a restaurant ever. We were only in Leamington Spa a few hours but we went to this cafe twice.

Refreshingly imaginative, yet affordable, lunch options (especially for vegans and vegetarians) with delicious, beautifully decorated cakes. Great kids lunch bag with a lovely touch of a little sticker on it. Really lovely, helpful and friendly staff. Environmentally friendly containers. Clean and airy in a lovely building and location adjacent to beautiful Jepherson gardens. We will definitely return!

Beautiful spot in leamington straight across from Jephson and the the band stand. Food was on the HIGH Priced and coffe could be a bit biger in volume also i would expect some engagement with the customers. As i was waiting there was chit chat to customers that were picked out and i was totaly left feeling i did not matter !! Customers service is for all your customers not people you know or fit in. It makes me so sad that this happens. Surgestion....... Spirit to Serve or change job !!

I cannot fault the service, I have frequented here many times over the years and have always classed it as a treat when working in leamington. My previous visit was disappointing so I thought that today I’d give it a second chance as I’d always had excellent food in the past. However today I was further more disappointed by my baguette which was sparsely filled and my slice of bread pudding lacked fruit and pretty much unsweetened. It is unfortunate that now I feel the produce is over priced and underwhelming and regret that I shall now avoid this place rather than look forward to visiting. 🙁

Have no complaint re coffee but put off by surly attitude of staff. Guy who served me was abrupt and almost aggressive when I asked him to repeat something . Ironically he wore a T-shirt that had ' Barista of the Year 2024 ' on the back ! Don't think so, mate.
