Found this gem of a place whilst waiting for theatre I had mac cheese with pulled pork..gorgeous This place has more than 100 rums..I tried 2..brilliant My mrs had Mac cheese with haggis/ bacon Freshly done was fab Pub itself nice cosy, friendly atmosphere Has nice feel, screen for live sport, nice views of city street Landlord Adam total delight really friendly and chatty Highly recommend folks you won't be disappointed

Lovely venue in the local town square, friendly staff reflected in the atmosphere. Tables spaced out evenly had a great tasting beer. A little late on the meal coming out but attentive staff appeased the situation. Wow……the meal was worth the wait, absolutely delicious Sunday Roast meal. The equivalent veggie option was a nut roast with a selection of vegetables and Yorkshire pudding.

Very good food, very friendly service and a very well-kept space. Highly recommended.

I ordered the fish and chips, when it arrived I was surprised at the way it looked, I thought it would be the normal crispy large fish that you find in gastro pubs but was presented with what looked like a piece of supermarket oven fish. The batter was soft and it tasted quite strong. I put it down as just the way it was there, covered it in katchup which masked the taste, and ate it. Shortly after finishing I noticed other people being presented with magnificent crispy battered fish, making me realise I had been given something that was obviously inferior. Did they not have any fish ready for me so used a 'microwave back up' piece used for such times? We were fairly early in the lunch time. When I gave my feedback to the manager, politely and constructively, he showed little attention and just walked off, no apology, understanding or monkeys given. Obviously they couldn't care less about customer care. Very disappointing. The chips were nice.

The food and service at the Tilted Wig is faultless. The two lads behind the bar, Ruen and Frankie in particular are amazing with great customer service and charisma. Always enjoy coming in as it always has great vibes and staff as a whole are so friendly.

The tilted wig is a family favourite of ours. We enjoy going regularly and today did not disappoint. The food and service was to perfection! If you haven’t tried it yet, make sure you put it on your list!

Very friendly and comfortable bar with a good range of real beers that's open to non-residents in the town centre. Has a good reputation for bar food.

Food was really nice and our Waiter (Andrew/Andy) went above and beyond several times - explaining menu choices and sourcing a special dessert to share. Thank you!

First time visit to the tilted wig this afternoon, we chose one of the sharing platters, the food and service was very good, will definitely visit again.

Extremely welcoming, friendly staff.... happy to oblige even with last minute catering where possible...meal was good value, well cooked and tasty, very relaxed environment.

Very nice clean, cosy room. The pub has no fruit machines/pokies, it is just focused on people meeting socially around the fire or in the covered courtyard. Great selection of traditional beers. Located right in the heart of historic Warwick town, essy to walk around many of the sights. Breakfast included with the room rate was freshly made from the menu and really good quality. The value was excellent. Young staff were professional, friendly and helpful.

Went for family Christmas time meal.. we were put in bar area not restaurant.. very cramped. Food was good though and staff polite and friendly. Parking awful as very small limited time Pat and display behind the pub. Didn't stay at the hotel.

Did not stay over so cannot comment on that. Sunday roast was nice but nothing special. Pricey for what it was but very good. The pub did not have nice beers and was a bit cold but had a great atmosphere and decor.

My friend and I visited for a Christmas get together and lunch, a warm welcome and friendly helpful staff. Food was very good, generous portions we didn’t have to wait long. We had such a relaxing time, will definitely be back.

Nine of us out to celebrate Parents Diamond Wedding Anniversary. Even though the place was exceptionally busy the Food was Excellent and the service was Fabulous. Thankyou to Everyone for making a night to remember for my parents . I would have no hesitation in recommending the Tilted Wig to Family and Friends

Great food ,very helpful staff ,for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The staff worked very well and nothing was to much trouble for them .

Enjoyed a very good meal here last night. The sausage and mash was particularly good and the panko crusted chicken and chips were also good but could have done with some salad garnish. The decor and atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing and the location is convenient.

Had food and drinks here last Friday and enjoyed it that much went back Saturday for food and drinks . The food is amazing had tapas Friday and steak on Saturday absolutely loved it !

Basically everything that could go wrong ordering food did. First had to wait to a set time which was fine as only 15 mins. But then told the menu we'd been given was out of date and 75%wasnt on it anymore. Then when we did make alternatives, told the food delivery wasn't there so could only have a quarter of what we'd ordered so we left Could have said this prior to the drinks order which wasn't cheap for the area. Seemed a bit of a money making trap. Staff were friendly but the above showed a lack of training. The owner clearly likes a very attractive barmaid to attract custom which I'm not against. Venue itself is nice and inviting

Had a festive food menu dinner with 4 friends, as we cant always get together in one place. well it didnt dissappoint, The place was very very busy but we had reserved beforehand, the meal was delicious, 3 friends had the turkey, i had the beef and another had fish and chips. The beef melted in your mouth, the turkey was perfect ( not dry or over cooked) fish was cooked to perfection, Then we had desserts, Wow just mouth watering, tea and coffee too all this plus mince pies and pulling crackers, The staff were very busy, but very professional, polite and cheerful, so shout out to Chefs and staff for a lovely experience,Also a solo singer who was very very good, Will definitely be having another night there soon Thank you All at The Tilted Wig for making our evening from Sheila, Jackie,Michela, Liz and Christine

After visiting Warwick Castle, we stopped by Tilted Wig for a meal. It might just be the cutest spot in town! We were a bit indecisive about what to order, as the menu was undergoing changes, so we asked the staff for recommendations. They suggested the seabass, and wow—it was incredible! The presentation, flavor, and portion size were all spot on. Our second choice was a burger, but unfortunately, the patty was a bit bland and lacked seasoning. However, both dishes arrived piping hot, which was a plus. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but the cozy decor, friendly staff, and excellent service made it worth it.

We had an amazing meal and the staff were so very kind and helpful, highly recommend The Tilted Wig for their food , beer and fantastic 1st class service ! Very reasonable prices on menu too! All in all a wonderful experience!

It is a fantastic place to spend a few hours with a loverly ambience and a great choice of beverages. It has very comfortable surroundings, the food is excellent and good value with good portion sizes. All the staff were brilliant and so helpful, a very enjoyable evening from start to finish xx

We had a lovely 2 course meal here. The young lady answered all our questions and when I wanted extra Worcester sauce in my tomato juice she happily got some from the kitchen. No pub has ever done that for me. Choice of food was good and my partner is quite fussy! Lovely pub, lovely people.

A nice place for a drink if you can get served. The bar staff are more interested in prioritising their mates rather than observing who’s next.

Lovely meal, lots of choice on menu and daily specials at reasonable prices. Excellent service from all staff but shout out to Michael who was friendly, had a good sense of humour and attentive without being overbearing. Good ambience and mixed age group clientele. Recommend booking a table at busy times.

Excellent food friendly staff. Parking for a limited number of cars. This is a very central pub so you would expect noise as the day starts. We enjoyed our two days very much and there was live music on the Friday night Which was a bonus.

Great pub right in the middle of town and only a few steps from our hotel . We had a nice big table in the bar area next to the window. They had a man playing in the bar who was really good . Food was lovely , there was 4 of us and total bill with 4 mains & 4 bottles of wine £168. Definitely visit again if in the area .

Staff came to our table to take drinks order. They were pleasant and welcoming. Nice atmosphere. We did order food later. It arrived quickly and was tasty and well priced. We had to queue for ages to pay our bill. But a member of staff did notice and apologised and took per payment.

The Tilted Wig in Warwick is the best place I’ve found in Warwick for all the right reasons. It is great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with great quality and well presented food. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the service is great.

Nice venue and service at the bar was okay but needs improving. They’re lots of dirty tables outside, and the waiter put down a dirty ashtray on table of non smokers.

We went there for a Sunday roast last weekend. Not familiar with the area so just ringing round for dog friendly pubs. It was really busy but cosy and friendly and the roast dinners were huge and really good quality.

I had the peri chicken kebab and it was phenomenal!! best food i’ve eaten for a while, would highly recommend coming here. the staff were all really polite and the food came quickly and tasted lovely. such a nice atmosphere.

Visited last minute on a road trip after looking for somewhere on Trip Advisor. Wasn’t disappointed, delicious food and friendly welcoming staff. Fantastic outdoor space and great steaks !

Extremely slow food service with the restaurant almost empty. We felt like leaving several times before the food arrived. It is not understood. A shame because it's nice, good music and very friendly staff. It must be said that what we ordered was 2 fish and chips, a plate of children's chicken strips and a kebab wrap (no grilled meats or anything that takes time to prepare) The food was good.

Great location. Awful pints. Awful staff. Would recommend avoiding this place. Much better pubs to choose from in Warwick. Try the old coffee tavern or the rose and crown!

Not bad. Struggling to see the reason for mainly 5☆ reviews though. The food is ok, nothing special. Fish and chips. You can't really mess that up. The burger my wife had, however was overcooked. Crispy bun! Crispy bacon is good. But bacon you can't cut isn't. Onion rings you can't bite? The haggis scotch egg was like cutting into a rock. Staff friendly enough. Lovely location.

Phenomenal breakfast: Good service, great quality ingredients and possibly the best cooked Full English I've had. Even my partner's poached eggs were done perfectly, and she described the bacon as "how bacon used to taste".

Appears a great dog friendly venue in centre of Market Square and very popular for morning coffee and breakfasts. Substantial outside seating in Market Square and heated covered courtyard at rear abutting off street car park. Very efficient friendly staff only matched by the very amicable ales and food.

Recommended by the receptionist at the hotel and really didn’t disappoint. We had the sharing tomahawk steak for two and it was amazing. There was a really happy atmosphere and all the staff couldn’t do enough for you. We will be back!

Place was rammed but I can see why, food was super fresh, salad was nice and crisp, prawns were as big as my wife's fist and steak was cooked to perfection. Craft IPA is expensive but it's the town centre so to be expected and was well worth the money. Defo beats the crap local spoons and chain brands. Try the British sharing board, really good value as well. Just wish this place was closer to home.

Great Sunday Lunch and a very good pub menu. Roasted sirloin still perfectly pink in the middle with veg, large yorkie and roasties for £18, yes please. Staff were a little rushed and inattentive but it was OK.

Went for breakfast, waited 50 minutes and half was luke warm. Clearly understaffed!

Lovely place .very welcoming bar staff. You do feel at ease there. Type of people family, age which more respectful to each other.

We visited on a Sunday as we were seeing Noel Gallagher at the Castle. We were told it was an hour wait for food which we agreed to. We waited 2 HOURS for our food to come which was then just OK and not served hot. No one came to explain the delay and when we complained they just said they were busy, no apology.

We were on a touristic visit to Warwick and we stopped to eat. The restaurant was almost empty, yet we had to wait 50 minutes for our food to come. Also, the spicy tuna poke bowl came with no spicy sauce, which meant it was incredibly dry and tasteless. We only had the day and had already wasted an hour before starting to eat so we didnt say anything as we were in a rush. We didnt even get an apology from the staff when they finally brought our food. Locals might be able to spend two hours eating lunch at a pub, but we do not recommend any tourist to go here!

A Sunday afternoon booked a table for 4pm. Time is 5:54 and still no food. We have complained and we have had a cash refund but we booked a table as we were going to a concert at the castle. It seems they take are taking too many orders for what they can cope with.

Stopped for a quick post shopping pint. Lovely greeting from Chris at the bar who is a gregarious chap and made us feel very welcome. Had just a portion of Calamari each with a second pint of Landlord. Both equally delicious. The floor staff bringing food equally lovely. Great pub, great staff, great food, great atmosphere.

We just visited the restaurant. Had been walking round Warwick all day, sightseeing. We decided to have a meal before going back to our hotel. Found this place in the square, it looked ok from the outside though fairly busy. No wonder! Food is fantastic, not just normal fantastic, but fantastic with bells and whistles. Look at the pictures and see for yourself. Then, go and eat. And, eat and eat.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location. Food disappointing though. Two of our meals (same dish) were awful - had to leave a lot of it. Did mention it to the team who gave us a portion of chips to share instead. Was a birthday lunch and I was really disappointed.

A good pub serving the centre of Warwick. A choice of 3 in the centre, this one may be more expensive than Weatherspoons next door, but then they do hate dogs!

Waited for over an hour to be served our lunch. Unfortunately not very good service. Food was not too bad when it finally arrived.

We didn't stay here but went there for dinner, we had a fantastic time, the food was great, I can thoroughly recommend the ribeye pork and chocolate brownie,my husband had the sausages and said they were some of the best he has eaten. The attention and service were excellent by both Chole and Kris,we were made to feel welcome from the moment we entered. If we had been staying longer in Warwick we would have definitely returned to eat again.

We stayed here at the weekend. A really lovely and popular hotel and restaurant. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed for breakfast which was also very nice with lots of. Variety. The room was good with a very comfortable bed had a good sleep. The only thing I'd like to mention is the room that we stayed in has two steps down into the bedroom, which can be quite a problem if someone misses the step during the night 🌙. I think a slope would be a good option in the future. Apart from that it's a beautiful place run by good attentive staff.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in February our room was fabulous and was absolutely spotless as was everywhere else. We had a amazing breakfast and had lunch and dinner on the Friday evening which was fabulous there sandwiches are huge so be warned. The staff are honestly probably the most friendliest that we have ever experienced and are an absolute credit to the owners ..its why we believe the pub is always busy. Its very central and within walking distance to the castle and city center there is a fabulous market just outside the pub its brilliant be warned there fruit n veg and bread sell out really fast. I think the only thing that could be improved is the parking they need to get the spaces marked it would be much easier when we arrived there was a van parked up so we parked where we could, a manager arrived and wanted us to move which was fine as we were eating lunch. Thank you everyone at the tilted wig for making our stay perfect we will defiantly return.

Booked a meal for 11 family members to have Mother's Day lunch a day early. We were all really impressed with our meals. The food was great, nice wine, good service and didn't feel rushed at all. We were given a nice spot by the window and all had a really great time. Thank you

In the area and stopped by for lunch. The staff were super attentive and friendly. Lunch was delicious and just what we were after.. a pint, some sandwiches and a bowl of chips. Very reasonably priced too. Pub is right in the middle of town aswell so enjoyed a browse round the market afterwards. Will definitely stop by again if we’re back that way.

Staff members were absolutely helpful when I requested vegan food. They really went for that "extra mile". Looked after us during our lunch. I definitely recommend the place 👌 Also the food was delicious and big portion too. All of us left with almost burst tummy....

We have eaten here a number of times now and I can honestly say that every single time we have been, staff have been so welcoming, so courteous and eager to please it has been an absolute pleasure to be there! Our food has always been lovely, slightly on the pricier side than other pubs in the area but 'you get what you pay for!' Service has been quick, we have received attention from staff, the pub itself is lovely with a great atmosphere, it's a cracking place!
