The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Wales

I arrived to find my husband and son already seated as I was joining them later. No one had acknowledged them in the ice-cream parlour. I asked a young girl how we order and she told us at the bar. Went round the maze to the bar area and served pretty quickly. I asked for a waffle and bacon but apparently, you can't have both as waffles are made in the parlour and bacon in the kitchen. Ok can't be helped so I ordered something else. The woman with bobbed grey hair was not rude but curt and did say thanks. Half way through eating my blood sugar were dropping rapidly and my husband had to go and order a juice. he was quite a while and so I got up to see where he was but he came back in empty handed, I drank my son's juice and my husband said he was standing there and the bobbed hair woman shouted at him that she was too busy to serve him. He came and sat down and I could tell he was angry, swallowing his food. He left soon after that and my son and I stayed. My son wanted a crepe to take-away and so he went to the bar to order. I went after 5 mins to find him and he. hadn't been served. Then, a young girl came over and took his order. Whilst, we were waiting we found it quite stressful in there as the woman with bobbed hair was making phone calls and there was a strange atmosphere from her, rushing about and taking up the bathroom and corridor. No one smiled or made you feel welcome and we found it cold, uninviting and a confusing place. My food was pretty good though.

waitresses were useless busybodies plenty of tables free, noone there to seat you so after we settled in on our own one of them got all uppity about it - if they were there in the 1st place doing her job that hassle would not have happened - we just left and will not return - same happened to friends of ours too

We had cheesy bean jacket spud and cheese caramelised onion toastie and creamy chicken soup - loved it washed down with a pot of tea and a coffee latte coffee 😋

Amazing X Mas dinner, best we've had for years. Great portions. Fresh ingredients and awesome gravy. Lovely staff.... diolch

I asked what the filling was on one of the sandwiches and the assistant said ‘hummus and mushroom ‘. I said yes please that would suit me fine ( I am vegetarian) . It cost just under £5. My husband chose a sandwich too and his too was just under £5. The assistant then thrust the card machine at us and asked if we wanted to give her a tip. Presumably for selling us the ready made sandwiches. When my husband hesitated she rudely asked our daughter , who was behind us in the queue, to explain to us what we needed to press ! We then walked to the beach to eat our sandwiches. Only to find my hummus and mushroom sandwich was in fact chicken and bacon ! I was left with no lunch !

Not a helpfull boss when you ask why the food cold and drinks got are like piss the toilets are not clean there's better pubs in Llanelli than rubbish rubbies

Unfortunately not impressed here at all. The lady who served us at the till us more interested in serving and chatting with another member of staff that she left me waiting for 5 minutes while my coffee and the milk she had begun to steam sat waiting, both getting cold. The food arrived relatively quickly but the bacon was undercooked and for the most part inedible. We left soon after because we didn’t enjoy our cold coffees, mediocre breakfast and despite choosing an unoccupied area to sit in, we were having having to sit listening to another member of staff who sat behind us, giggling at TikTok videos she was playing on her phone. Overall an awful experience and we won’t be returning.

Amazing breakfast and friendly staff will definitely be visiting again. Could do with a radio or something as very quiet in the cafe.

Obviously a locals pub . Went in for Sunday lunch and this could have been way better . Portions sizing was not great and although the separate vegetables were hot the rest of the meal was cold . Why do people serve hot food on to cold plates . More vegetables were needed as we looked around and we got nearly the same as a table of two we were 6 adults :( stunning views outside . Like I said could have been way better £11:95 for a Sunday roast …

Morgan is great!! The guy in m front of us was pretty rude and Morgan handled it with such grace and patience! He was so cheerful and happy and made us smile on a rainy day!

This place really doesn’t know what it wants to be, staff need to be retrained stood waiting 7 minutes to buy an overpriced card whilst some member of staff bellowed at the top of her voice to someone in the back who was laughing and giggling , to make a sandwich . Staff don’t even acknowledge customers very rude . If it wants to sell merchandise it should have a till available just for this and not assume people just want an overpriced slice of Costco cake. Very poor

I was waiting for a train and I saw this coffee shop a short distance away from the station in Porthmadog. It was virtualy empty appart from one other customer. I ordered a cappachino and waited for it to be made before sitting near thge window with a view of the Tesco store and carpark. The coffe wasa average although cheaper than most other cafes but it was too hot, almost boiling. As I had to wait longer than expected I only just caught my train!

Do not understand previous poor reviews about staff The staff on this morning were more than helpful the young lad carried our coffee to our table without being asked always have coffee here when my husband has to attend the Eye Clinic best coffee in town

As chains go, Costa Coffee isn't too bad (great choc brownies!) but they need hot chocolate-making lessons at this particular branch. My drink was pathetically weak and, ironically, not half as nice as the hot chocolate I later bought from one of their Costa Express dispensing machines - in Asda. The only time ever I've ever praised a hot drinks machine. Come on Costa! Make all the drinks properly.

Honestly Costa Coffee is one of my favourite but lately in Cardiff all Costa shops are very dirty it’s amazing how they staff don’t seem to care. Very sad.
