The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Wales

We've been here a few times, went again yesterday, lovely again! Food is pub grub standard and cheap, no complaints from me! Had a few pints too & was very happy to find out when I ordered a Guinness & Guinness 0.0, that the non-alcoholic one was free as a deal in January! Nice little afternoon out without breaking the bank, thank you very much. See you again soon :)

Great traditional pub, with great food, the pizza's and roast dinners are especially nice! All staff are really friendly and it's overall just a great spot to drink,eat watch the football with friends and family. Karaoke aswell if you like that sort of thing😁

nice little privately run hotel. Has been beautifully renovated, very tasteful decor. Huge Breakfast, probably fill you for the whole day. Very nice, friendly service. Great restaurant in the evening

Perfect meals all round (4 adults) very polite happy staff great service and the food was piping hot and delicious. Even my elderly parents couldn’t complain which doesn’t happen often. Nice lunch, but a bit expensive. Guinness and beef pie with chips and peas. Lots of meat but had one of those puff pastry lids out of a freezer. Ordinary frozen peas and about 12 chips that wouldn’t fill your eye. Tasted good but not worth £15. That’s the trouble with posh towns like Crickhowell. Too many tourists with too much money. Worth £8 at a push and no more.

Had breakfast at Porkys in The new penny farthing. It was fantastic all quality products. The breakfast was great. Loved the door stop toast, bacon and sausage was very good. Service was excellent. People might say it’s expensive, but you have to pay for quality. Will definitely be back.

You must go here as it is a little out of the way, yet really nice food with nice attentive, helpful staff. Go along Station Road to get to it, or cross the bridge from the railway station.

Awful place, every time I visit tables are cluttered with dirty pots, the barista area is filthy and covered in coffee grounds and they were in my drink.no interaction between staff and customer, very poor customer skills

Ordered food at 12.30 no food at gone 1 ..chef ,/ proprietor came out 1.25 wafting till receipts saying his order till had not gone through to kitchen. Through out his time no apology for wait ..he rudely said food was ready 1 hour + later but he'd rather give us a refund than give us food and compensate for their mistake . We left without a meal ,fine mistakes happen but not spotting their only customers haven't been served and then being rude and abrupt won't get the place back on its feet . We are locals and could generate quite a bit of all year round business but will not go there again

Entramos el domingo por la noche alrededor de las 6 pm y notamos que no había nadie en el bar, en absoluto. Había alrededor de 7 personas allí bebiendo, un lugar agradable y relajado y muy tranquilo, así que pensamos que esto es genial después de viajar todo el día, una buena bebida tranquila era justo lo que queríamos. Esto hubiera sido genial si nos hubieran servido. Estuvimos en el bar durante 20 minutos esperando que alguien sirviera, pero no había nadie, y me refiero a nadie. No llegó ni un solo servidor al bar, así que al final le dije a mi compañero que es una pérdida de tiempo y los dos nos fuimos y fuimos a The Carlton, donde diré, 100% mejor. Gran servicio, personal amable y en realidad tenemos una bebida! Han perdido un cliente aquí donde habríamos gastado una buena cantidad de dinero, en cambio, fuimos al Carlton y les dimos el dinero, claramente lo merecían más que este lugar.

The food was delicious and portion size huge! The people were lovely, nothing top much trouble and atmosphere quiet and cozy. Well worth a visit!

Our family group of 4 had the BEST pizzas EVER (way way better than other more famous express chains). Fantastic mozarella garlic bread starters too. Excellent customer service - our lovely group leader wanted her fried egg (on the Fiorentina pizza) cooked in a very specific way, and the lady waiting our table (and the chef) duly obliged, with patience and a delightful sense of humour too. The food was hot, pizza toppings were fresher than fresh, and the customer service was faultless. Next time we're back in Bangor we will definitely come here again!!! Another reviewer called this place a "hidden gem" and that description is 100% spot-on!! We left a little heavier than when we entered but we were a very very happy group!!

Stayed there several times. Staff always very helpful and accommodating This was in the 1950s when it was called the Marina Hotel. Judging by the reviews it seems to have gone downhill a bit since then This review is dated December 2023 - that's not correct - but there were no earlier options
