Loud echoes all around slow service cold coffee felt cold and uncomfortable toilets also dirty

Girls fab.could do with a make over and better toilets.

One of the staff members was very slap dash and not pleasant the young girl was very polite. The sausage sandwich was tasteless. We had 2 sausage sandwiches, a tea and an Americno coffee. The total cost was over £15.

The venue is good and outside space is good, the service is ok. All saying the coffee is great.

Usually catch up with freinds here. Fresh made baggetts are fabulous. Can get busy especially when weather is good seating also available outside.

Ordered for the first time. Ham and Cheese Panini. It was gorgeous and well cooked. Waiting is quite a long process, we’ll worth the wait!

I’m going to be honest - I LOVE this place. I get lunch from here a couple of times a week and the Mexican chicken is just SO GOOD. Super cheap, super friendly

Food potion was good, breakfast bap was £4.95. Had bacon eggs sausage and mushrooms. Very filling. Quiet environment. Decent.

Probably the worse place to go. Looks like a lovely French boulangerie, café but the quality is horrendous. Stay well away from any milk shakes or smoothies. Also outside furniture is an accident to happen as half of them damaged. What a waste of money

A nice little cafe with a great selection of food, hot and cold drinks. A good spaced outdoor area covid-19 compliance. The only complaint would be the extra £2 charge to eat in compared to having a takeaway meal. But would definitely eat there again.

Après avoir vu le nom de cet établissement, je suis allée prendre mon café matinal pendant les vacances au pays de Galles. La seule chose ' folle ' ici n'est pas le croissant ni la viennoiserie - c'est les prix fort bas ! Super endroit pour manger de la patisserie ici au Royaume-Uni, cela me fait penser à la boulangerie de ma ville de naissance. Vraiment top.

I would love to reccommend it because the staff are nice but they have 1 choice for vegans and even then you can't have butter or mayo dressing as they don't have a vegan option!!... All they would need to do is add houmus and a slightly more adventurous salad than lettuce cucumber and tomato, that coupled with their roasted veg you could make so many variations. I have tried in here 6 times now and being offered L C and T is not a good option really so I am afraid I am out . I will stick to Soul Spice for fresh tasty stunning food without compromise!!

Absolutely appalled by our visit today. To start with the young girl on the till had no customer service skills and was quite rude. We were told there were no jacket potatoes left at 1 oclock in the afternoon and so we ordered a tea cake and a pot of tea and were told to sit down on a table that had'nt been cleared and was filthy. After waiting 10 minutes i had to ask for the table to be cleared, i was expecting the lady to come back with a spray to wipe the table but unfortunately not. After waiting 25 minutes for the tea, we had to ask where the tea cake was which arrived 10 minutes later hardly toasted! One young girl had very long hair not tied back around food preperation area. Also dirty plates were being cleared and left where food was being prepared! Very suprised to see the 4 hygiene rating on the door when leaving! Rude staff with no apology! Very disappointed having to wait so long for a very simple order, glad i did not order food as i would of waited most of the day! Will not be going back!

I often enjoy a coffee at La Crazy Croissant.Al Fresco if the weather's nice.The staff are friendly and attentive if a little stretched if they are busy.Once or twice my order forgotten or mislaid..Crossed wires maybe. But overall ,a positive experience.

I love it here once a week for lunch I like to have a cheese and tomato paninni beautiful bread and presented in a sealed foil lined paper bag with a suviete. Staff always very friendly

Lovely baguettes and sandwich’s , freshly made in front of you , their hot chocolate is delicious , only downside if you eat outside there are some smokers

Absolute shambles, visited twice recently, new young blonde girl working there has no idea what is going on, smashed 2 coffee mugs today whilst waiting a ridiculous amount of time for my order. Previous visit she tried to take my receipt from me despite it stating ‘customer copy’. So many members of staff standing around chatting, and then others working their socks off (short girl with dark hair smashing the coffee’s out) ... new system needed ASAP, SERIOUS STAFF TRAINING NEEDED TOO! Total shame really because food is good, but waiting times are ridiculous, majorly gone downhill... Won’t be back unfortunately!

Great place for a quick snack or something perhaps off the specials menu. Whatever you want to eat they have plenty of choices. Highly recommend it if you're in Pontypridd

My favourite coffee!! Wish they did more veggie food and not just advertise they have options which are never available. It's the only thing that lets them down in my opinion

Nice little cafe. Staff super friendly. Not too much for veggies really. But they are trying to improve which is more than can be said for many of the cafes in the sunny town of Pontypridd!

Lovely summers day so thought I'd stop for a latte and cake. Staff friendly and enjoyed what I ordered but I had to ask staff to clean the table. Instead of wiping it clean with a cloth they took the bacon etc off with their hands and dropped it on the floor. Table was still dirty and in fact all the tables were dirty outside because I was trying to find a clean one to sit on. Would expect higher standards.

only been been for breakfasts but have been impressed every time. Low prices but still excellent quality food and generous portion sizes too! The breakfast was especially great value for money, a very generous amount of bacon!! Staff are always friendly and there is ample seating both inside and outside which is nice for those occasional sunny days!

Service I thought was sloppy (manager/owner on phone) coffee was good. Didn't have been anything to eat here. Just watched a lot.

It's a very pleasant place to call at for either morning coffee elevense or lunch. They have a wide range of items to eat and drink and the staff we find very friendly!

Stood and waited to be served while staff chatted to each other, wasn't busy but still had four staff, wasn't offered a glass for drink had to ask, food took a good 20 minutes and wasn't that cooked(PANINI), left table and staff just looked at us, to busy to even say thank you, will be trying the places inside the market next time that are thankful for your custom

Not bad prices for the area, portion sizes the same. Bacon,cheese, and black pudding muffin for 2.99, coffee ok. English breakfast 4.95 with optional black pudding and free tea or coffee before 11am. Service a bit slower than average but quality a bit better than average. I'd go back.

I called in here for a quick lunch on a business trip but I will not be returning. The staff are perfectly friendly but the service is far from perfect when a dish arrives with the knife and fork on the plate where they had slipped in to the sauce. We both had jacket potatoes and these had clearly been cooked in a microwave oven as the skin didn't have the texture of an oven cooked jacket potato. The salad element was fresh but the sauce that accompanied my chicken was clearly straight out of a jar or a tin. The final disappointment was the tea as the pot was so small that I barely manged one and a half small cups. I never understand why places do this as the cost of a bit more boiling water is so small compared to achieving real customer satisfaction.

Waited for some time to order and pay for coffee X 2. Not busy but waited for further ten minutes to be served. Overflowing cups with no paper napkins available. Obtained some kitchen roll and went up for replacement saucer. One sip of the coffee, if that was what it was, was enough and we up and left. On the way out we noticed that it has a three out of five official rating. We will not be going back.

My wife and I often pop in to this place for a light lunch. The food is always good.. Last time we had our usual Latte Cappuccino and open sandwich .. Very nice .. Recommended for lunch..

Excellent choice of lunch food. Service was fast. Avoid 1.00 to 2.00 because rather busy. Well worth the money.

Friendly staff. Good range of snacks available. Always clean in there.

Great place for coffee and a bite to eat in Pontypridd town centre

A lovely little coffee shop, independently run and not part of a franchise. The coffee is well made and not at all costly. The food is fresh, and very tasty.

Así que no se volver! Ni siquiera quería darle un círculo! Primero de todo no en 1 patatas chaqueta mediodía!! El servicio era terrible, mi sis pedimos pollo mayo baguette llegó, simple y pedimos Mayo un parecía ser un problema, ya que podíamos hablar de ellos aquí el contador nosotros preguntando por el mayo! Cuando la comida era llevado hasta el contador no había gracias nada, ni siquiera una sonrisa! Fue sólo hasta que descubrí una polilla en mi ensalada que una de las chicas hablaba un no podía hacer de repente lo suficiente! Incluso con este problema, el enfoque sobre la chica que me parecía de conejo en la polilla de los faros un no pidieron disculpas sólo empezaron a tirar la comida! Asumo el pesebre llegó un se disculpó una estaba bien, luego es una pena que ella era la que tenía un problema que pedimos Mayo! De las tres personal hemos visto trabajando allí hoy no uno de ellos tenía ningún servicio al cliente! Espantoso!! Veces como estos me gustaría comprador misterio jaja.

I regularly visit another cafe in town. As it was full I decided to try your cafe. The staff were very rude. And the food was cheap and awful quality for the price. Also no hot water in toilets.

Práctico pero ruidoso - no es el lugar para ponerse al día. Bien lo contrario. Evidentemente popular. Abajo Loo. El personal es agradable.

Beautiful baguettes provided to feed our swimming officials at the R.C.T Grand Prix third round run by R.C.T performance swimming club. Baguettes where beautifully fresh with a generous amount of filling and at a reasonable price would highly recommend

Visited this cafe approximately once a week for about five years and never did we even get a smile or any sign of recognition, even though we always tried to be friendly. Unbelievable! Only went there as it was the best coffee in Pontypridd at the time. We were very pleased when Costa opened.

Really poor service, we was told they didn't have hardly any food left by a very loud and bossy woman behind the counter. Which is more than likely the owner or manager. Food was expensive, but we reserved judgment intill we received it. The food was ok, but not worth what we paid.

Pop in for coffee once or twice a week when I'm working in the area. The coffee is fresh ground and lovely. The paninis are the biggest I've ever seen and really tasty. Always worth a visit!

We found the menu was quite expensive. Ordered a muffin which was very small and not worth the money paid. Good selection of hot drinks.

Can't help but think the owners want to make Cardiff prices living in Pontypridd. I'm not a coffee lover by far but can tell the coffee is far from a superior standard. The girls working here are amazing though . Think they need to rethink menus and decor

The kids pasta was over cooked (microwaved) to the point it was crunchy, and my omlette wasnt great to be honest. The prices were good, the staff friendly and chocolate cake was nice. But I wouldnt rush back for warm food.

By choice I go here, rather than one of the big chains, as it sells nicer coffee.I visited today, service was friendly and quick. It has recently had a fresh new look and paint, but it still is basic, although one of the better coffee bars/cafes in Pontypridd. From experience they make up all sandwiches and baguettes fresh on each order, so there sometimes is a small delay in busy times, but nothing to complain about.

When we go to ponty we usually go there nice place clean and price is okay.and really good staff .Smilely face,lol

I've visited Le Crazy Croissant a few times over the years and regret to say that I have never had a good experience. The service is poor, there is one waitress in particular (she may even be the manager) who refuses to smile and acts as though she would prefer for you not to be there. The food is of very average quality. The coffee is instant yet you get charged premium prices. I no longer visit La Crazy Croissant and would not recommend it either.

Called in today for a bite of lunch Ordered two meals : jacket potato and baguette, pot of tea and can of pop.. Came to £12.00 to eat in which I thought for Pontypridd was on the more expensive side.Not disappointed with the food at all, lovely taste and fresh side salad.Staff very friendly and welcoming and lively clean surroundings Would recommend and revisit just wish it was a bit cheaper

Nothing wrong with this place but expect basic baguettes with a packet of crisps and instant coffee and the like served by nice enough shop staff. There are literally a hundred places like this in any bigger city, this one is perfectly pleasant but unspectacular.I'm dignifying it too much by reviewing it as a "restaurant".Decent, clean, cheap.

We've been coming here for over 15 years and it continues to be a popular place for lunch or just coffee and a cake. There's always a warm welcome from the staff, wide choice on the menu and daily specials, including veggie options, and children are well-catered for. A lovely local, independent café :-)

Regular visitor, the girls are fab, the service great, the new winter soups are so good, they are not the usual catering soups, these are home made, if they have the spicy parsnip on, its so good.

We visited this cafe recently and were very impressed. The food is freshly prepared upon order. We had a bagette filled with grapes and brie cheese. There was a choice of white or brown and the staff also checked whether it should be buttered. The staff were friendly and the food and drinks ordered were quickly brought to out table. There was a varied menu on offer including jacket potatoes, wraps and light bites. The tables were clean. We felt the prices were very reasonable and the fillings not stinted.

A good meeting place. Modern decor, food okay.
