Food delivery via just eat. 2 hours for food to be delivered. Cold and very disappointing. Hardly any meat with food even though this cost me over £30

Usually come here a few times a month when need to get in some veg in the diet! Always enjoy

Food is always hot and fresh. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

Great place to eat. Food was good and it's a quite and comfortable atmosphere during the week days.

Had a breakfast here, was extremely ill with food poisoning. When emailing they asked for a stool sample 48 hours after which I was ok by then.

Quality of food was superb , it was clean and staff were all very friendly. Only thing I’d say could be looked at is that we stood at the waiting pod a while before anyone acknowledged us. So felt as if we wear meant to just find a seat ourselves for a while.

Our table service was good but bar staff were very ignorant. No soft drinks available on a Saturday. I ordered via the app and paid, waitress came to table while partner was in the loo and said that they have no soft drinks available so partner had to go to the bar to change his drink selection when he got back, the staff was very rude and told him to queue (which was out the door) so I ordered another drink via the app so he didn't have to be queuing up for ages and funnily enough it turned up within 5 minutes but I didn't get a refund on the original drink which wasn't available. And to top it off the carvery wasn't very nice and I waited 5 minutes for them to top up the gravy. It Was our first time visiting and it will be our last.

Ate here Sunday morning it was a lovley pub not been before but was recommended by our friend who goes regularly not sure how to order breakfast so felt a bit silly girl on till was nice asked if we wanted mushrooms they must have been very expensive as that came to over £24 on getting breakfast asked where cups were oh that's extra another £4 sum so £28 for breakfast was a bit steep lovley food bread was hard and stale so we toasted it.

I normally find carveries not that great but the roast potatoes were crispy & fluffy , the meat was tender and the gravy was really tasty ! Really enjoyed and would definitely recommend!

Been here a couple of times before and have caught the carvery at the correct time and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Called in here today and we decided to have burgers instead. Upon ordering were told food would be about 25 mins as the kitchen was busy although the premises itself wasn't but thought that's ok food be nice and fresh. 35 minutes later the food arrived and was disappointed to say the least. I will start with the chips. They were cold, dry and shrivelled. They were of the consistency of chilled chips you have from a takeaway, don't eat and try them the next morning and then wish you hadn't! The burger, one of the worst I've had in about 30 years. Appeared to be a grey/brown colour, perfectly round and thin, like the frozen ones you used to get in the 90's from a burger van. They were not at all juicy or enjoyable, everything appeared to have been cooked earlier and kept under a lamp which had dried everything out. Left the chips and most of the burger. Will I return, probably but will have the carvery again and certainly not a burger. Each to their own but certainly not to my taste

Loverly warm welcome staff work really hard and friendly nothing to much trouble for them even when really bizzy highly recommended and very reasonably priced good with familys and disabled also got easy access

Customer service at its very best as always, however it’s a shame the food didn’t hit the mark - roasties were like pebbles and inedible, Yorkshires you could easily break your teeth on, the yellow and orange carrot mix were like mush as was the cauliflower. Todays blessing was the meat and thick gravy 😳

The staff at the Fulling Mill have been very welcoming us into the restaurant. The staff on the bar served us really quickly. We both had carveries that were very enjoyable and was never a long wait to get our carvery either.

Meat was lovely. Nice and chilled place. Peas were a bit hard but all in all lovely

Very rude and dismissive staff member behind the bar. We had never been to a Stonehouse before, this was our first ever visit and also our last. We had booked a table and after standing at the bar being ignored for quite a while were told to just go sit wherever. When we returned to order we were berated for not using the QR code on the table. We had not been told that this was how we were supposed to order on our arrival, and there was no visible posters etc either, so the small tile on the table was easy to miss. My wife ordered a pint of brew dog. It was completely flat. I said this to to the server and she begrudgingly poured another, which was also flat, despite her swirling and shaking the glass in an unsuccessful attempt to get some sort of head on it before telling us that one was fine. My wife took it out of politeness. I however wanted to return it again as it was undrinkable and was left untouched, but my wife did not feel comfortable taking it back due to the already hostile nature of the bar lady who's day we seemed to ruin simply by turning up and not knowing how a Stonehouse apparently works. The food was OK, but there is no way we would return or suggest this establishment to anyone we remotely liked. It was an unpleasant experience to say the least.

Shocking carvery, I've been sick all afternoon. Service very slow, oooooh we don't do mash potatoes. Its not rocket science, mash them by hand

Well we arrived and stood by the pillar, ignored so approached the bar to see the bar tender and then be seated, in a whole pub/ restaurant they dumped us on a tiny table and with no menu and I had to walk around the restaurant looking for 1! Staff wasn't very helpful or friendly. Managed to download the app and ordered food and drink. Then had the audacity to ask about a tip but the staff did Nothing as of yet. Food arrived and £4 for a portion of loaded chips was tiny! Pizzas was OK but not the best for a place that's meant to be a pizza and carvery place

A very disappointing visit. The beef was super dry and fatty. The rest of the food was good, but you expect the meat to be a good quality.

Went there last Saturday in the morning for breakfast, my server was Jan, she was lovely and attentive and made sure we felt safe as possible during the Covid 19 pandemic, the food was lovely and would definitely recommend anyone go to this restaurant for top notch service and food.

Absolutely terrible from start to finish. Firstly I went there for my birthday as I really fancied a carvery to which I was told I couldn't have as there was no meat left then my son wanted finger lickin chicken which he couldn't have as there was none there,bearing in mind my son is a fussy eater and will only eat certain foods due to his autism. Then was told I couldn't have gammon as there was none. My daughter ordered grilled chicken burger which was burned underneath so couldn't eat it all. I had a 25 % off code on my app but it wouldn't work so I said that I'd use my blue light discount instead which is 20% but was told for some reason that they were only allowed to take off 10%

Used to visit here for years very happy but recently the chef who cuts the meat is very skilled in cutting the thinnest slice ive ever seen. Dont know if shes been told to do this or not.but its letting a good meal and experience down.

Outstanding services, the bar maid was so helpful, my son is gluten, wheat and dairy free she was amazing the service was exceptional. Our Waitress Jan was also so helpful and exceptional also. I can’t thank them enough, we don’t go many places as it’s so difficult but this lord tonypandy is just brilliant!

Food is always well cooked and tasty when visiting the fulling mill. We arrived very late and had the carvery. There wasn't much meat left as to be expected but there was enough and the sides were still being replenished until the very end. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Gone home with a full belly and a good mood. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

I had 3 pick up carverys they were very expensive I paid £35 for the 3 .I was very disappointed at the amount of meat on each carvery.also roasts were not good like rocks could not bite through them and a poor amount of vegetables. Also the stuffing was in bits instead of balls I would rate the carvery at a 2 star they need to pick up their A game.would not buy another carvery again.the burgers are nice though and pizza is not to bad but have had that on odd occasion burnt.sad really as it used to be a really nice place years ago and at a reasonable price.

First time here and we had a great experience. My baby has dietary requirements and the ladies behind the bar were amazing and so friendly and patient in accommodating to our needs. We will be back again

Very thin on meat serving, Food lukewarm. No indication of fresh food rotation. Serving counter not cleaned. Slandered hygiene and presentation missing . However. One good thing, nice and polite serving staff.

My experience today, food was lovely not to hot, but hot enough. Not as busy as other times I've been , so it was lovely to just be seated and watch the traffic pass by. Waitress welcoming and talkative. Nice

Absolutely dreadful visit yet again. We thought we would give it another chance after our previous visit was poor. This time using a Groupon voucher. To be told that we had to pay the difference from the voucher we had bought to what we ordered which was off the Groupon menu online. We added it up at the table, we saved Absolutely nothing paying full price after the difference we were charged at till. Staff didn't gave a clue how the voucher worked, I advised them it was an offer Stonehouse would of offered via Groupon hence the code we had which wasn't asked for at any point. I offered it and was told no didn't need it. Staff need to be trained on offers etc. I was told that everyone else who had Groupon vouchers had to pay the difference too. Surely by taking the code it would adjust the cost of the meal like we have had in several other food establishments. Food was very poor. I simply couldn't eat it. Burger was like cardboard. Cheap, nasty and fit for the bin. Toilets entering, doors were very dirty and sticky. No toilet roll whatsoever thankfully I always carry some around with me. The place was very quiet so no excuse as we were busy, I saw a good number of staff walking about but to be honest a good team meeting and some elbow grease and a lick of paint, decent food happy friendly knowledge staff this place could be worth visiting such a shame as the valley has limited places that can seat what this place can, a very poor experience from beginning to end. I certainly will not be returning soon unless this place has a major kick up the bum. Staff were lazy and eh oh last visit and no change on this visit. They literally had mo idea on what offers you have on, they thought it was in-house. Not a national offer.

The food there is delicious 😋. Me and my partner went last week. I had a carvery and my partner had a pizza. Staff are really friendly and helpful, we got served by a woman called Jan who was lovely. No complaints at all

pre-ordered a table for 4 in the conservatory. Upon arrival, we were told we couldn't have a table in the conservatory and were escorted to the 'new' area - which was through the conservatory with 5 empty tables - so wy couldn't we have our pre-booked preference? 4 adults - given 2 menus - from a drawer full of menus - what are we? kids in church sharing hymm books? VERY UNprofessional. Sat by an open door - to allow props for a private party to be brought in - and so froze, as did our food, as it was left open, despite it being the beginning of February - and no, its not the guests job to close doors or windows. out of 3 drinks ordered, 1 was incorrect - but swiftly corrected. This was my birthday lunch with some chums - although I didn't make mention of that when I booked it - VERY DISSAPOINTED - so didn't have pudding. Will we return - highly unlikey - and no, I DON't recommend you bother

Ordered a mac n cheese witch came out in a very small salad bowl. When I asked staff is this a joke for the price I was laughed at and said what do you expect. After the burgers arrived 1 of 4 burgers was very undercooked and same again I confronted staff witch they argued it was fine then the manager came along and then eaten the burger and agreed it was undercooked and it was pink stay well away from this joke of a place.
