Great pub I go back years with this one used to play darts and skittles for them...owners have spent a lot of money on it lately very nice....2 big tvs and a projector so it's all good

My old local... haven't been in there for a while but used to be a chilled out atmosphere and friendly regulars... ohh and good prices Updated review: called in tonight for a quiet pint. Sarah (bar maid) was very professional and welcoming. Even with my broken ankle she fetched my drink to my table. Will 💯 be back again! Many thanks 😊

We booked a table for 13:50. Arrived waitress took our order fine. Within minutes the couple that ordered 2 minutes before us had their food. Another couple arrived 10 minutes after we placed our order. After 20 minutes of our ordering waitress asks cook, when our food will be ready. Cook answered who! Order been lost. Then the waitress takes food to the family that ordered after us. Stated can you wait for my partner to come back in. Waitress then brings that plate of food to us asking what meat we ordered? Told her., there you go that’s yours. Asked her when the other meal will be ready? Reply I don’t know! Said can you please take it back I’ll eat with my husband. Total blank look, took food back. Enough was enough told them cancel our food order, got up walked out not even an apology from anyone. If the place was full you could say Ok. But only 5 people to serve. Others were ordering desserts. Terrible service Mind you we were recommended this place Don’t do it Food did not look good. Mash potato from what I seen was served with an ice cream scoop I will not even mention the drink issue Last st

Great Locals pub. Has a bar and seperate lounge and dining area. Sunday food is great. There is a pool table in the bar. If you want a chat in the bar though and the juke box is on youll have to shout or go up to the lounge.

Food is typically tepid when it reaches your table, meaning its averageness is very apparent.

There is a nice friendly atmosphere here and friendly staff.

A good 'proper' pub. Bar, lounge, dining area and function room. Doesn't do food every day but has Steak and Cake nights on a Thursday and does a lovely Sunday lunch. Booking required for both. Friendly staff and locals. Quiz on Sunday evening's.

Lovely sunday much. Home cooked but they do come plated up. They will bring round extra vegetables and gravy. Good prices both on the food and the drinks

Food was top notch, not been here in years I will definitely be coming back sooner rather than later.

Food was a good standard, I had roast beef and my wife roast pork. We followed the lunch with Baileys cheesecake. We had a bottle of merlot with our lunch which was not overpriced. I'm writing this having just booked again for next Sunday.

You really do get good home cooked Sunday lunch here. You need to book because it gets quite busy. Please try the crumble whatever fruit it's made with it's always delicious with lashings of custard yum yum. We also had a meal last night (Saturday) with the new chef cooking. Our steak was cooked to perfection everything was absolutely great, I don't know the chef's name but thank you so much. The pub is a good meeting place for the locals and has karaoke, and a quiz on Sundays.

We go here every Sunday for our Sunday lunch which is delicious. The staff are very friendly, Rachel, Samantha serve you and Maria serves behind the bar and they always serve you with a cheery smile .Pam cooks the food and it's proper home cooking, try her crumbles they are delicious with lashings of custard Mmmmmm yummy. There is a lot going on at the Napes as it's known, Karaoke, skittles, darts, and live shows. Mandy and Tony are the owners and will do anything they can to be of service. We held my mums wake there and they were wonderful and the buffet was really great. Thank you guys very much. Do pay them a visit and be pleasantly surprised but you have to book because they get very busy and their prices are reasonable. They also do Saturday evening meals.

Restaurant doesn't open on Saturday til 5pm. Bit strange.

Newly taken over, landlord is very welcoming & nothing is too much trouble. They got new chef for restaurant & only doing sunday lunch until new year. Lots of things going on; pool, darts & skittle teams, also got artists on weekends. Top pub!! You must visit it.
