Lighthouse Pub & Diner in Flintshire

We visited this pub yesterday and we were made to feel so welcome the lady from the bar came straight over and brought our doggie a water bowl and a doggie treat and couldn't have been more friendly . The atmosphere was great lots of lovely people very friendly .there's plenty parking and a small fee for all day which is great ..we were told about the evenings entertainment and other functions and what great sense of humour from the staff (the moon walking was brilliant)....we throughly enjoyed our afternoon and what a difference it makes to be in good company thankyou very much we will all see you again soon . We can highly recommend this pub although we didn't eat this time the meals looked lovely all served with a smile ...Thankyou for your hospitality .

Not a bad place. Owner and staff very welcoming, beers good and cheap. Dog and family friendly. If you like a proper pub that does a decent pint… this is the one for you!

Hidden gem. Park on the carpark £10 per night or use the pub and its free (winter season) Staff and owner make you welcome and are friendly. The pub including toilets clean and tidy. Dog friendly. TV’s for any sport - just ask and they will oblige. Food was not available on my stay but for £3 we had a bowel of stew and bap which was available (filled the spot) Definitely a good spot to walk the beach even as as far as Prestatyn when tide out or use the footpath through the dunes👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺🍺

We arranged a gathering of motorhoming friends here, to walk on the beach, cycle to Prestatyn, and have a wild night in the pub. John, Graham and Melissa could not have made more effort or been more accommodating. You pay £10 to park overnight. This is returned to you, as credit over the bar. We had a blast. It was off season so the kitchen was closed but we ordered takeaway delivered to the pub. Even the weather was kind! Great weekend, will definitely be back :)

Part of visiting motorhome group. Out of season but absolutely perfect for our needs. Great location, staff were welcoming and provided excellent service. Definitely going back.

There were a number of us in motorhomes, there for2 nights, and we couldn't have been made more welcome. It is was out of season and food wasn't available, but we could buy food nearby.

Although out of season we received a warm welcome by the chef and bar staff. We were invited to help ourselves to a home made spicy chicken noodle soup with home made bread rolls which was excellent. Followed by a local dessert. Great way to set us up for a lovely walk on one of our favourite beaches. We called off again before we went home. The pub is clean and spacious, but above all friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Stumbled upon a real Gem. We met family in Talacre to go for a walk, we parked in the carpark and popped in to the pub to pay. I was greeted by Jon, who welcomed me like an old friend. He also informed me that we were welcome to pop in following our walk with our dog. If you return with your parking ticket, you get the £3 off your drinks and snacks. We spent a couple of hours in there, enjoying the atmosphere and warmth. Will definitely be popping in again.

Excellent parking a short walk from a fantastic beach to walk my dogs . As we had a meal we were able to park for free , although it’s only £3 to park. Food was excellent and there was no wait for drinks at the bar. Super friendly efficient staff. Highly recommended. Will visit again for sure

Needed to pick up parcel from Amazon drop off point. Spent inspected afternoon in this location. Lovely car park. Reasonable charge. Basic homemade lunches. Priced really family friendly. Community pub. Really felt welcome. Staff and patrons really thoughtful.

Had our caravan in the carpark for 2 nights. Brilliant weekend. great atmosphere in the pub. Lively and friendly. decent priced drinks. will definitely go again.

Went for food on 18th June 2023, had scampi, so fresh and hot, good portion, we took the dog, they have treats,beds and water for dogs. The heavens opened and we were dreading walking back to caravan, a lovely local young lady offered to take us back, thank god, she took us right to door. The warmth and friendliness of all in the pub was fantastic. Thankyou again. See you next year.

Parked in the car park and decided to have lunch before we went for a walk. We had Scampi chips and mushy peas and a home made vegetable curry with rice and naan bread. The thing that impressed us most was the warm welcome we received by the lady greeting us.We asked if we could sit outside and we sat at the back of the pub in a nice area in the sunshine. The food arrived soon afterwards and was very good and a bargain for the price we paid. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will be back.

Charged different amounts each round. Even when we accounted for peanuts or lemonade in a round, should not be over £2 difference! Seems to be a local thing to do. Not the 1st place round here this has happened.

Been going to North Wales for 20 odd years with the family and every time we go to talacre to go on the beach to see the light house You can't go without having a drink in the lighthouse pub always so friendly staff brilliant

We regularly visit the Lighthouse as we have a static caravan in Talacre. The pub is decorated lovely inside and is very welcoming. There is a lovely children's area in a safe environment at the rear of the building, totally enclosed. You can relax, watch sport, play pool or take in some of the great entertainment that's put on in the evenings. The staff are super friendly and there is lots of choice in terms of drinks. A great pub, well worth a visit.

Me and partner visit Talacre on a regular basis, we absolutely love going in the lighthouse, we enjoy playing pool and watching the karaoke on the weekends, it’s good to see so many people joining in the karaoke fun, everyone is friendly, brilliant atmosphere, the staff are welcoming and nothing is to much trouble, we will definitely be returning again soon.

Absolute brilliant pub, amazing friendly bar staff , great DJ and singers , Elvis and Ryan were amazing ❤️ and the lads behind the bar are so hard to find today ,Ben and Josh and thanks to management Cheryl, Margaret and Graham for all the lovely little touches like FREE sweets on all the tables and FREE cup cakes !!! Very kind and not like the club house at Talacre Beach charging kids £5 to go to a Halloween disco, shocking !!! My son had a great night for his 22 Nd Birthday and all our friends as we couldn't celebrate his 21 st last October due to lock down , fab pub xxx

My husband and I came here last night for the Halloween party. What a great atmosphere! There was a mix of live music, karaoke and music to dance to from Ryan, a really good mix which kept everybody happy. We tried the “Venom” cocktail which was a great hit, well done Ben and Josh - so busy but you both did a great job!Lots of people had come in fancy dress but plenty didn’t - it really didn’t matter. Such good fun we’re going back tonight!Thanks everybody for a great night, highly recommended.

A fabulous night at The Lighthouse, always welcoming & friendly. Brilliant entertainment last night. The two brothers who work behind the bar are exceptional & work so hard, people like this are hard to come & they are kind, genuine & sincere. Ryan who hosts the entertainment is a fantastic singer & loved by all. Love our local pub when we go to stay at our caravan up the road.

Found this place as we were staying at the caravan park nearby. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to going back the next time we are in Talacre. Very dog friendly in all parts of the pub.

We as a family have been coming to the lighthouse Inn since 1998, never again I've given exellent reviews in the past as was two fab staff members and the owners (Graham and cheryl) pat and Heather, was our main reason for coming here. This place has had its fair share of trouble in regards to a very loud mouth vicious old thing verbally abusing young customers, the vile language from the so called recovering alcoholic is diabolical. Personally the person I'm talking about could do with a mental health evaluation as her behaviour is not normal for a 75 year old. We will never return.

Awful. They have the cheek to charge £3 (then increased to £5) for parking in the carpark. They should be ashamed of themselves,

After a lovely day at the beach with my sister, friend and our two young boys. We decided to have a quick drink. We sat outside, however didn’t realise we were 3 meters away from the local idiots, who apparently think they own the place ( according to the bar staff). A young group of lads filed passed us. A younger lad maybe 15/16 moved a traffic cone. Possible 3 or 4 inches on the road and was yelled and abused at by one of these obviously intoxicated fools. Long story short the 2 old idiots bullied and got the boys expelled from the premises and then began to try and entice and bully the ladsInto a fight to which they were not interested in the silly old pissed up idiots. Do not go here. It’s like the hills have eyes haha. Not cheap and like being in backward town.

Absolutely horrified by the way the owner of this pub has acted towards children. DO NOT go to this pub if you want to be safe with your children… he’s a drunk mess and so are the staff.

I have never been so disgusted in all my life watching grown men and women led by the owner in a drunken state attaack a single woman and her children. They should all be ashamed of themeselves, a child will be seriously hurt by these very strange scruffy alcoholics who drink here. The video footage taken by other shocked onlookers is just as sickening. Reading the reviews it’s not the first time and won’t be the last. Stay away people, the place is vulgar!!!!

Staff ran after a lady and her children and was very verbally abusive and vulgar. Then he retreated into the bar to grab some more vile creatures. Every person said they had done nothing wrong and the level of abuse captured on video has no words to describe it. I really hope the lady goes to the police. The owners and staff need to be trained in dealing with the public instead of swigging pints and being so awful. This lady and kids were visibly shaken it was awful to witness. Hopefully they manage to enjoy the rest.of their holiday.

Nice place cheap drinks needs a clean toilet was clean floor covered in toilet roll remnant for 2 days hadnt been cleaned lino on floor by sink sticks up very dangerous fell over it into sink Owners sit outside drinking all day very disgraceful for people to see other staff are friendly and helpful

This place is a bit rough around the edges and needs some TLC, there is outside seating but it all needs a good clean to make it pleasant to use. Staff were nice and there was good pizza being served from a trailer outside which our group really enjoyed.I’d go back, I just wouldn’t rush to do so.

A great pub, friendly staff, called every day on way back to caravan, plenty of seating , including a bear garden with play area for the kids. Ignore the reserved signs on tables, apparently that's for when they play bingo

My family and I adore the lighthouse Inn, the staff are very welcoming and helpful polite. The Sunday lunches are out of this world, the service is so good. Nothing is to much trouble and staff very accommodating. Credit to cheryl graham, marg, pat heather and guiness John, you all made our memories happy. Thank you.

We called in for a meal out of necessity and convenience after a day at the beach with our two dogs. We had no expectations and the bakery and chip shop close by had already closed ridiculously early. We were all made welcome, including the dogs and the service was very good, despite it being very busy. The staff were all very efficient and we did not have to wait long for our meal or drinks.The beer battered cod and chips with mushy peas was superb. A large piece of golden brown battered cod of very high quality and a good sized portion of chunky chips accompanied by a decent helping of quality mushy peas. Not cheap at £12 a throw, but great value in terms of quality and quantity and just about the best I have sampled anywhere in quite a while.

We're called in this pub twice during our stay at talacre beach... Very friendly staff and customers... We also was able to take our dog in as well... For a pint 😂😂 will definitely pop in again next time we're in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Reading the reviews it seems like it was the lady who was awful to me. The staff all seem drunk. The pub is dirty and although stating a family pub they clearly hate children.We went in Sunday for a drink on the way home. There was a woman being extremely rude towards me and the man who was with her shouting at my partner because me 3 year old touched the bar. Glasses are filthy.Don't bother going its vile

Came here for a drink abit reserved with the reviews based on landlady.very surprised to find a great lady behind bar who was very welcoming and warmed to right of way.she explained why they wasn't serving food at the moment as covid but great place near to the beach car park too at side.great friendly place to wach football and have game of pool.great too in the day if you want to have a tea or coffee. Baileys coffee with cream and marshmallows great for price.good selection of beers definitely a place to go and have a social drink.thanks for making our visits a memorable one.

Called in on the way back from the beach for a drink. The lady let the children out the back where they have a large area for children to play. Drinks were good price. No food was being served until next year due to covid. Hand sanitizer readily available and one way system in place. Pleasant couple of hours .

Visited here while walking my dog. Very pleasant and good choice of pub grub at reasonable prices. Will be visiting again soon

Landlady is off her head, don’t know how she gets away with it. She needs to leave the sauce alone I think.

Not family friendly at all. The Landlady is down right rude and wouldn't give hot water so babys food could be warmed up. Avoid.

What an awful place! Apart from being grubby, sticky, and unwelcoming. I am shocked by some of the other reviews. Not allowing mother’s to breastfeed, swearing at customers, and even violence. This place should not be allowed to trade and as far as the landlord and landlady, they should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. You couldn’t pay me to go here!! There are plenty of lovely local pubs where the staff and owners know how to treat their customers.

I usually walk my dog up from Presthaven a 20 minute walk then stop here for a few drinks before either getting picked up or walking back! I’m usually alone. Today my partner was picking me up & she’s just had a baby. He is now 12 weeks & still breastfeeding. When my partner arrived she asked for some hot water for a bottle but was refused due to health & safety (which I understand). Myself then asked is it ok if she breastfed & was told NO it’s disgusting & if she wants to feed my son that way she can go in to the ladies toilets to do it. She then began to say to gentleman at the bar it’s disgusting how she wants to get her t*ts out in public. As we’re standing there listening. My son was screaming starving & we had to walk out. Needless to say I won’t be drinking here again as in this day & age I thought this wasn’t allowed to happen anymore. #DiscustingBehaviour

After walking along Talacre beach with our very sandy dogs, we came across this lovely pub. The bar staff were very friendly. There is a kids play area out back again dog friendly. Very clean pub and toilets. Bonus you can pay on card, and get cash back. Reasonable prices to. Definitely recommend a visit here. Thank you light house staff you are doing a fantastic job

Found this little pub set back just off main road leading to Talacre beach...really family friendly, have a beautiful space in rear of pub including a playground for children to play, benches to sit at, which is beautifully decorated. They have live entertainment most nights and allow children and dogs to stay all night in side room right next to stage, allowing prime view of acts. All staff are super friendly and welcoming. After the first night you feel part of their family! The managing staff are amazing and the whole place made my holiday really enjoyable. Cant rave about the place enough! Will definitely be coming back! Thank you for making my holiday memorable. Xx

Didn’t even want to give this 1 star! Pub clearly states ‘families welcome’ inside the pub there are signs stating that after 9pm children were only aloud in the family room (fair enough) Popped in for a few drinks around 7:30pm, my 2 year old daughter was enjoying dancing around on the dance floor, listening to the karaoke singers, bare in mind the dance floor was completely empty! Most of the punters were coming up saying how cute she is and smiling at her, whilst the landlord was just giving her awful looks and asking where her mummy was and that she shouldn’t be dancing, I was sat right next to her! 8:20pm comes and landlady comes over ‘not being funny but kids aren’t aloud on the dance floor at this time’ it was still 40 mins until she had to be in the family room and she was doing no harm at all! Landlord and landlady both clearly pissed as a fart and extremely rude. Sour faced t***ts clearly hate kids! Dirty tables and chairs and kids no older than 16 serving behind the bar! Awful place, needs shutting down!!

Sorry for being a snob but just as I walked in the Duo's music struck up and one of them started to "sing". Exit Benidorm! Not the environment for sharing a meal with our young grand daughters.

Visited yesterday for lunch. Excellent food and first rate staff/service. If you don’t like children, great banter, great people or dogs then not the place for you. I will be back

Went to this pub last evening, OMG no staff. There where 3 young men with additional needs helping out behind the bar, who could not use the till. I do not think these men would be insured to work behind this bar. We waited many times to be served whilst the manager was smoking and drinking outside. Think next time we will drink else where.

We have been calling into this pub with various generations of the family for the past 30 years. Happy memories of the pool outback, sadly now gone. VERY welcoming, children, dogs and even the mother in law ( joke) have been warmly welcomed. Great food, ( Sunday lunch) , entertainment and beers ! Keep going !

Took my wife and children in for a drink as I needed the toilet .the landlady walked past and kicked off because we had a bag of cakes on the table which the kids were not eating .she made my daughter cry .

Literally did not even get to order. Walked in to what can only be described as something from the twilight zone. You know those films where everyone goes quiet, puts down their drinks and stares?? yep.. that! Very off putting and uncomfortable, turned around and walked out. Not a smile or a welcome in sight.

As many, many MANY others reviews have said - avoid due to the disgracefully rude landlady. She has been vile to me on multiple occasions for absolutely no reason bar perhaps she didn’t like her husband giving me a welcome drink.

Delightful atmospheric rambling entertaining haven by the seaside for all ages. Singing, bingo, games for children, pool tables, sheltered from sea winds outside covered from rain area particularly appreciated by someone who loves sitting outside come rain or shine with my dogs to hear the gulls calling and the wind and rain and the fresh air. i always judge a place by its toilets, and these are exemplary even if hot air hand dryers I find unnecessary noisy items anywhere and avoid them like the plague lol. Snugly set back off the main road I thought I had wandered into Narnia or some secret garden with scented orchids and ladies dressed like flowers also everywhere ! i was asked my favorite songs and suddenly poof ! harry potter tablet turned some on ! now my only slight regret is the VEGAN FOOD is not served ALL DAY ALL NIGHT of course....FALAFEL PIZZAS RULE OK but one cannot get 24/7 opening and food yet in most places in Britain hence my 4 not 5 star rating of this "Jamaica Inn" reminiscent inn not at Bodmin Moor which is actually ruined by over modernised kitsch UNLIKE this Inn.

Please read previous reviews before visiting this pub. It certainly is not family family, the landlady was rude and obnoxious when we ordered drinks. The pub needs a deep clean, the “children’s play area” is filthy and dangerous - glass, litter, food on the floor. Just avoid! Go to nearby pub the point that’s good.

Gave this place a miss before even getting through the front door. Having meant to visit a couple of years ago but not getting round to it, we wanted to go this time. Big signs advertising family friend etc, not very friendly for a three YO when there's bevvied up yobs out the front at 4 o clock on a Wednesday afternoon, shouting, swearing and bring general morons.

So me and my friends walk past here on our way home to the caravan as we were staying close by. We attempted to pop in here for a drink, the bar was open and full of people singing on the karaoke etc so it clearly wasn’t shut. The manager came straight over telling us we weren’t welcome (clearly because we were a group of girls) it was like they had never seen a group of girls before! He then went on to say get out now, pushing pulling and tugging at us demanding us to get out. We were trying to give them business, they gave us abuse as soon as we got in there for no reason at all. There was 100% a cult he had going for him, everyone in the bar was acting the same way towards us they were clearly locals. The biggest bully I have ever seen in my life who needs to understand how people are being treated! PURE EVIL. He also grabbed my friend and dragged her out leaving a huge red mark on her arm. The police were called and they told us this seems to be a regular occcurance at this awful pub. This landlord and his hag of a wife need to be stopped!!!!!!!

Me and my friends headed to this pub for a drink, when we entered we went straight to the bar to order a drink and was shouted at by an aggressive drunk dumpy lady sat at the side of the bar.

Do not go here!!! Me & my friends (group of 6 young girls) thought to stop in here for one drink whilst walking back to the caravan park close by where we were staying on a weekend break. As soon as we walked in we felt very unwelcomed and victimised by the bar staff and locals. My friend ordered a drink at the bar to be shouted at by the lady serving “f*ck off ur not ordering a drink” to be then grabbed on the arm by which must of been the landlord and dragged out of the bar.. all because apparently theres a sign outside which says “no entrance after 11.30pm” which clearly isn’t big enough as we didn’t see it.. regardless of there being a sign or not the way we were treated was disgusting and as all young girls in our 20s we felt scared and was very shaken up by this. Everybody inside the pub including woman all stood by the very aggressive man and didn’t help or try and stick up for any of us. It seems like a very small close net cult like group that obviously go in there regularly and dont like visitors or holiday makers drinking at their local. After a brilliant weekend away with the girls this was now how we wanted our Saturday night to end. All of us including myself went back to the caravan park where we staying very upset and confused to what had just happened. Please be advised especially woman to not go here. We have called the police and made a statement as this behaviour is not ok and something needs to be done!!!

Stayed at talacre beach recently and had a great little break away with my partner, have to mention the lighthouse pub just up the road which has a great and friendly atmosphere with things going on all the time, a special mention to Margaret who works in the kitchen on a Sunday providing one of the best Sunday lunches Iv ever had ( and I’ve tried a few ) great size portions with lashings of tasty gravy 10/10 in my opinion. Would definitely recommend and will almost certainly return.

Visited this pub with my family at the weekend two adults and two children. We had a couple of drinks and called in to watch the football. The bar was quite quiet considering the lovely weather. What we witnessed going on at the bar was a disgrace. A man who at first I thought was a customer drinking at the end of the bar with friends who was as far as I can make out the land lord had blocked a lady into a council car park that joins on to the pub. He was quite proud of this and was discussing with friends that he does this regularly to people who visit the beach. I went out and he had actually parked in a loading bay to block her in. His own loading bay for the pub. The lady had parked the other side of the loading bay and the signs said not to block the path which she hadn't and she had paid for a ticket in the car. He pretended the car wasn't his and then shouted in the pub while laughing pretending to ask who the car belonged to that was blocking her in. This lady went up to him and asked him politely to move his car. Again he pretended the car wasn't his. The lady must have managed to get her car out of the space but she was stuck for a long time and stood at the bar while he ignored her. Once the lady managed to get her car out she came back into this pub and when this man had realised that she had got her car out without him moving his he became very aggressive and was very close to the lady and shouting at her. This was quite distressing for my children when we were meant to be visiting a family friendly pub. He was shouting at her about not being a customer and I heard the lady say to him to call the member of staff over that had served them earlier but he would not. If he thinks it is okay to shout at someone like this then he is a disgrace. Trying to intimidate a woman who had visited his bar and joke about it with his friends. this is the worst case of customer service I have ever seen.

Called in at weekend .think we must of been aliens the looks we got.not welcome surly staff crap beer got out quick.wont be back there in a hurry.they need lessons in hospitality

We visited at the weekend despite knowing there is a newer, cleaner pub down the road (We don’t mind a dump if it’s welcoming). First we were greeted outside by HUGE signs screaming “toilets are for customers only” and “only consume food bought on premises”. Talk about chasing your customers away with hostility! Anyhow, we still entered - ordered four drinks and asked if they served food. No was the answer. So one of our teenage boys was finishing his crisps that he’d already started beforehand and the drunken landlord came over and slapped a sign on the table warning us not to eat such items in his pub (he said “if my wife sees you she’ll kick off”) We left the pub and will never return. Talking to locals afterwards we were told how that very same landlady can regularly be witnessed screaming at her customers. It’s a disgrace. Stay away!

Been here a few times over the years as I’ve been coming to Talacre since I was little, now as an adult I’m in the area a lot as my partners family now own a caravan at Presthaven so walk/drive into Talacre quite often when we’re in the area. Visited here last back in May 2017 with my partner for a quick drink sitting outside in the sun nice family pub with friendly staff worth a visit.

Lovely little pub very welcoming friendly staff and lovely customers especially Karen thank you really enjoyed our few times there. Lovely Christmas decorations has well. Best pub ever been to highly recommend a visit.

Popped in on a Sunday evening about 6pm in November. Lots of locals enjoying an early evening karaoke. Lots of good singers! We were made welcome.

The lighthouse is a nice family pub, I went on a Saturday night and the entertainment was good quality, a singer and karaoke, all the guests were up for a laugh so it’s a shame that the bar staff wasn’t.

One of two pubs close to each other on the stretch. This one like the other does not offer food. We were told it is out of season (13th September !) did not stop for adrink we had to find somewhere to eat.

Proper local friendly pub that most towns/villages don't have anymore. Lunch snacks very tasty and good value for money. Plenty...

Después de pasar un par de horas la noche anterior en el pub con la familia, como estábamos de paso la última noche a las 12. 30. Miramos la carretera y vimos que la gente estaba fuera, y decidimos llamar a una de camino a casa! Fuimos dentro y estaba claramente sigue abierto, karaoke y la gente todavía sigue sirviendo así que quiso mirar lo que íbamos a beber! La casera nos acercó por detrás, realmente cross y sólo nos veían muchos empezaron con las manos! Mirando hacia su nariz! Un hombre preguntó donde habíamos estado y nos dijo que el pub a lo largo de la siguiente (que por cierto, tiene mucho mejor servicio y mejor personal! ! ) Ella continuó con su mano shoo y dijo que estaba cerrada. Es suficiente si que era, pero la gente aún sirve, y no podía haber dicho "las señoras lo siento de los pedidos ha ido 'ese lugar deben basarse en algunos turistas por su encargo y les tratan como perros o gatos- veían muchos! ! Ella era tan grosero! De hecho nos reímos de todo por un rato, ya que estábamos contrariado por su reacción - un simple comentario educado habrían estado bien! Nunca volveremos a poner un pie en ese lugar nunca más - y hemos estado muchas veces cuando visite talacre! No te molestes en lo que les da una apariencia de mantener y llegará a una mucho mejor, la familia, la grosería! menos pub - sólo de una estrella ya que no era una opción para ninguno! Unos cuantos comentarios en su su mala educación - que creo que tenía que tomar nota!

We called in for drinks only one lunchtime after walking down the coast to Talacre.Pub looked clean.Person who served us was pleasant enough and showed us the best place to sit to get the sun.Big area outside with a small area for children to play.However I would not want to take children in here.The language of the people at the bar was awful so not family friendly.I think they were regulars as we could clearly hear their conversation even though we sat outside.My wine was okay but my partner said his beer was not up to standard.shame as this would have been a good place for a drink after a walk.

called in while passing and staying on the caravan site over the road. nice and friendly staff and the most immense selection of crisps and snacks I have ever seen in a pub before - definitely somewhere everyone could get a packet and not complain!

I'm an Auntie who takes her nieces and nephews on holiday to their caravan a Talacre Beech along with my sister and NINE other relatives called in to ask what time they where serving tea , the woman who I believe is the owner was so unbelievably rude , I'm advising other people on the site to avoid this awful place.

Today we visited this establishment for something to eat ,2 adults 2children , outside were menu board's and specials on chalk boards , when we walked into the pub and asked "are you serving food ?" We were told " not till next Thursday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

Been in here loads of times whilst on holiday and every time when we come in and karaoke is on we never get a look in on it!! Lesley the woman who does the karaoke is just getting people up who she knows you never get a look in and the when u do or if u do she always sings with you??? Better off going to the point the new cub a few yards down the road, live band on great atmosphere!!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, we had a great timethey children enjoyed it too, defiantly reccomend

cheap & cheerful, clean, food smelled nice, but didn't purchase any, drinks average prices, water bowls out for dog walkers

Me my partner & 3 children came here for dinner before going to the beach, we had sandwiches and they were really nice I would visit again!

Good friendly pub where dogs are allowed . Good beer prices. 5☆food hygiene. Entertainment at night including bingo mid week.

Great prices too. We have most of our meals here and can highly recommend. not enough seating on the Station Road but this pub makes up for it.

Excellent Sunday Roast opened from 12pm. Pleasant surroundings not far from where we were staying. Friendly staff.

We visited this place 4-5 times during our long weekend break and each time it was great. Well kept, lovely staff, fun for the kids and the food was great too.

The lighthouse pub is in talacre it is a nice pub that does a beautiful Sunday lunch it's alone a minute from the beach

We had Sunday lunch which was tasty. The staff friendly. Children's play area good and safe. Pity at this time they only do Sunday lunches, would have been great if did cooked evening meals.
