This wholesome little cafe is our favourite spot to eat after a long walk out in the countryside. The owners are so friendly and make us feel very welcome every time! The food is lovely and always hits the spot (especially the chips!) The cafe itself is right in the centre of Mold and only a short drive away from the picturesque Moel Famau and today we drove from Alyn Waters in Gwersyllt which only took around 15/20 minutes too. Plenty of parking around. 100% recommend a visit here! Thanks again both, we will see you again soon! Naomi & Jack x

Visited with 7 adults and one child - absolutely fantastic little gem. The only thing I was disappointed with is that I have not visited sooner. Some members has the roast dinner some steaks and some burgers and everyone really enjoyed the meal. Hosts are very friendly exceptional value and will definitely be returning soon.

What a fantastic little cafe this is!! Such a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were lovely. Felt very covid safe with sanitiser stations around, masks, visors and socially distanced tables. The breakfast was gorgeous and the coffee delicious. We will definitely go back. Thank you!!

Took the family for a meal last weekend and we were all impressed. The log fire in the inglenook fireplace was very welcoming. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Two of our party had whitebait for starters and said they were the best they've ever tasted. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Well done to you all at the Cross Foxes.

A lovely garden centre. Not a massive selection but have really good quality and gave my husband and I some great ideas. Will be going back with at least a trailer next visit. The plants and pots are really reasonably priced. The coffee shop is quaint and lovely selection of cakes yum yum. Along with a lovely hot coffee. Just hit the spot. Will definately be going again and recommend anyone to visit.

Prices are Conveniently not Transparent as displayed. Hot chocolate £2.00.. Cream extra 50p Nothing displayed and you are not told Another extra for Tiniest marshmallows. They ask if you want marshmallows like they included. (They are Not included) There was no miscommunication at all. No other price lists to be seen saying extra charges.. When you come to pay you definitely feellike you been hijacked !!

Had an amazing breakfast the "big" one. It was perfection! I would highly recommend a visit. The staff were very welcoming too. We had latte coffees that were hot all the way to the bottom of the cup (just the way we like it). Parking around the cafe can be busy so get there early.

We went for lunch and we had for starters smoked salmon with apples, radish and cabbage coleslaw the corn fed chicken, mashed potatoes, picked onions and cherries tomatoes in a delicious jus , fish with potatoes, vegetable goulash for mains and for pudding: creme brule with coconut biscuit and raspberries and almond tart with cream and berries. Good service and excellent value for money too. £ 8.50 for 2 courses or £10 for a 3 course 👍

What a gastronomic delight to the tastebuds we had, when popping in for lunch with friends today. Unsure of the offerings available for (two of us) being vegetarian, the menu and meal certainly did not disappoint. From the first mouthful it was impressively wonderful. Three empty plates from three friends and a promise to return very soon. A hidden gem of an eatery in the town of Mold. Thank you!

Having heard some positive comments from friends decided to book a table to try the Sunday Special (Sunday 3rd March). On arriving was made very welcoming by the attentive staff and the restaurant itself was very well lit and spotlessly clean. The food was fantastic, well presented and well worth the money. Just a note for anyone wishing to book a table as it doesn't have a liquor licence, its therefore a "Brink Your Own" (BYO) for any alcoholic drinks, which from eating at other BYO restaraunts in the past would expect a small corkage charge to be levied. Will put "East Meets West" on my to revisit list.
