If you’re in and around the Connahs quay, you should check out this lovely community cafe. Reasonable priced and the service is fab. I had an all day breakfast it was delicious. I have been a few times now and would definitely recommend it.

1. I go every Monday for my fresh ''home cooked'' dinner and pudding with different vegetables in season. As I do not cook for myself this is the only fresh food I have in the week. It lasts me 2 days so I get my essential proteins, vitamins etc. The rest of the week is the alternative frozen meals Libby's Cafe is the only place known to me where fresh wholesome food is cooked on the spot and'Steaming' hot. Yummy! Yummy! 2. The cafe is a lively community cafe with different activities going on including the NWREN Happy Choir weekly rehearsals ,art group, etc. 3. It is handy also for to clients visiting Flintshire Citizen's Advice next door to get refreshments.

Took the family for a meal last weekend and we were all impressed. The log fire in the inglenook fireplace was very welcoming. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Two of our party had whitebait for starters and said they were the best they've ever tasted. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Well done to you all at the Cross Foxes.

A fantastic little coffee stop in the heart of Shotton. You are sure to receive a lovely welcome from Pat. She makes a fantastic latte and even provides a biscuit on the side, all for £1.30. So why would you not want to call in for a beverage. So good I had two today!! Why not browse the stationary and cards for sale while there. As they have a good selection of quality merchandise to purchase too. A great little place.

Went to a games night with the nephews, great vibe, played table tennis, did a jigsaw, and throw throw burrito! Homemade cake was incredible, especially the gluten free brownie! Would highly recommend it, we will be going again!

Always love our family trips to Spavens. We have been going for 8+ years and our children are now teenagers and they never get bored of going. You can decorate and fill sweets jars, paint pottery, eat pancakes and ice cream, drink hot chocolate and milkshakes. You can do it all or just some. Staff are incredible and we always get a warm welcome. They go above and beyond to accommodate every single need. We would definitely recommend a visit, followed by a walk in the beautiful countryside. Car park, very close by and cheap to park too.
