This must be the best priced Michelin Star level food you can get, and it's that standard every day.

Do you want amazing food for incredible value? well the Roxy has got you covered. I always try and eat here whenever possible. the meals are incredible and are very reasonable. Everything you could want to eat is here, one of my favourites is the Lime & Coriander marinated sea bass, Crispy Kale with a creamy curry sauce. This place has it all! 10/10

Me encanta. Las fotografías no le hacen justicia!

Yesterday's masterpiece was griddled turbot with cepes, girolles and pureed potatoes. Absolutely fantastic, as another satisfied diner on their way out remarked as the head chef was grating a white truffle over my serving of the dish as a finishing touch. And all this for £3. The only way my meal could have been improved was if a similarly subsidised bottle of Chassagne Montrachet had been available to complement it. Today's offerings included roast grouse breast with wild duck and smoked buttered cabbage; griddled plaice with creamed leeks and prawns; pork escalope with tomato confit and Gruyere cheese; and lasagne with a herbed green salad. I could happily have eaten all of them (and some colleagues, looking at my waistline, may well believe that I did). But, craving top class comfort food, I confined myself to the lasagne. Which was great.

Lunch in the Roxy is the absolute highlight of my day. There is a brilliant choice of freshly prepared food, always including griddled fish, pasta and two other hot dishes, plus soup, an excellent salad bar and a sandwich counter. Oh, and free fresh fruit! Particularly memorable dishes include chateaubriand, halibut in lobster sauce, roast grouse, salmon fillet baked in puff pastry, marmalade baked ham and the reliable Friday treat of vodka battered cod with fat chips and mushy peas. The only possible criticisms of this brilliant establishment are that it won't allow me to book a table and doesn't offer a selection of fine wines to complement the superb food.

Been using this place for years now and it still my favourite place to eat. The menu changes weekly and each time it expands my experience of cuisine from around world. Talking to the staff they explain how all the ingredients are sourced locally from only the best suppliers. From fillet beef to monk fish, game to gammon, I've tried and enjoyed all sorts of meat and fish I never thought to try. Friendly staff to have banter with, 5 star food agency hygiene rating, a brilliant head chef. This is the place to expand your food experience and knowledge.
