Grace's American Diner in Flintshire

Never heard of it but Google insists I went there, so 0 marks.

Took my children down for an ice cream and a hot dog, the hot dog was served on a bun that was cut in half and stale. so basically got a sausage. The waitress was just plain rude, and absolutely awful to the child that she had working with her, she didn’t listen to the customers snatched things out of the your girls hands and corrected the young girls maths 3 times, each time she was actually wrong as she hadn’t listened to the customer. won’t be going again, I disagree with serving crap and paying 12 year olds pittance to make a few quid!

After visiting the other I was happy to see that the COVID compliance was taken seriously and in place. The customer service was excellent. I was served by a young man who had apologised profusely to me due to the wait time of food which is understandable with the current circumstances. Whilst also asking if he could anymore of his services to me. The prices were reasonable and although there was a small wait time. The staff members worked efficiently to prepare the food. Also the young man should be proud of his work he did that day and I hope that the senior members of staff take note of his good work!

It's ok if you're in a rush and want quick food on the go.

Good tasty h otdogs and burgers and it's run by friendly staff. What more do you want from a fast food kiosk.

Cool for a quick bite and a little sit down.

My boyfriend ordered a portion of cheesy chips and a steak burger. The lady who served us was lovely; very friendly and polite, not just to us, I noticed that with her interactions with other customers too. I felt we waited a fairly long time for one burger and chips, they also came out at different times. The chips were undercooked and the cheese simply did not taste good - very underwhelming. My boyfriend also did not enjoy the burger, again, he said the cheese was not enjoyable and the meat and bun tasted cheap. Overall, we received lovely service but quite disappointing food.

Graces was the first place me and my girlfriend went to eat and we found ourselves going back every single day. The food was delicious, all freshly made in front of you. The owner of the stall was an absolute delight to talk to, lovely and genuine and really cared about you as a customer. Funny that you go a little bit down the road and get disgusting treatment from the Battered Fish with an owner who doesn’t care about you or what you want to buy. Which is the complete opposite at Graces Diner. Graces is the number one place to visit if you’re after burger and chips, or even the freshly made donuts which are amazing!!! 10/10 must visit!!

I was more than over the moon with the food here at this place. Family of 6 with obviously a massive order and everything was freshly made and just what we wanted! Food was a good price and a good portion size! Eveything was perfect! I'll be sure to visit again! Glad it's back open for the season!

On a visit into talacre we wanted to get a cone of chips for the kids. The chips are 1.50 for a cone which is a good price even if they are using aldis champions. But as I was waiting to be served the girl pulled out bags of buns with mould underneath. Yes she threw them in the bin but I don't think she should be doing this in front of customers surely things like this should be checked every close and every open.

The food here was wonderful. It wasn't greasy and it was all freshly made to order. It was so clean and the 2 ladies running it were very sweet and welcoming. The decor was a nice touch :)

Donuts tasted like old oil disgusting. Burgers and onions being cooked of at half 10 in morning when not even busy feel sorry for whoever was served those later on that day

First off the young girl who served us with coffee and doughnuts was not to blame for any of our experience. she was lovely and very polite. We ordered a coffee and a tea, as well as some doughnuts, the tea was fine but the coffee was mainly milk and water. However, the young girl serving quickly put more coffee in when told. The main issue is that I was expecting to have doughnuts and coffee together, what a mistake. We ordered at about 11.30, the tea and coffee arrived 10 minutes later but the doughnuts didn't put in an appearance until 12.30! If I'd been told that it was going to take so long I would have changed the order so my main complaint is lack of communication. After all that the doughnuts were just okay but not worth the wait. Lesson learned, next time I'll go to the nearby ASDA.

We had ice cream and pancakes . very nice indeed. They even had maple syrup. You get them in a packet

ordered some doughnuts from here the service was terrible we had to wait ages as they were just standing around talking

My partners family have a caravan on Presthaven and I generally stay with my partner a few times a year we stayed August with my partners sister and family and as usual made a return visit to Talacre and Graces diner food still nice and reasonably priced, pancakes take time to be made but are lovely.

A quick snack before we ventured into the arcade. Lovely doughnuts and quick service. Kids loved it.

Have been visiting this little diner since 2013 when we first started taking holidays at a nearby caravan park. The staff are always friendly and the food on offer is really good quality, I especially like the pancakes. My children and hubby always enjoy the meal dealing burgers and chips which are better value and better tasting than on our caravan site. Nice to see that the owners are expanding with the nearby Lola and Suggs (lovely cake and ice cream) and the upcoming opening Of The old smugglers bar look forward to trying it when it opens.

Had a burger whilst passing and it was lovely. Wish I'd have had the large one now! Nice lady served me and brought out some jalapeño sauce when I asked for something spicy. Lovely.

We grabbed a snack here the pancakes were really nice, but let down by the stale bread on the hot dogs and the burgers.

My partners family have a caravan at PrestHaven sands just down the road from Talacre so each time we go we visit Talacre and often find ourselves grabbing a bite to eat at Graces Diner whilst we also visit the arcade attached to it. Staff are nice and I can recommend the burgers which are part of a meal deal with chips and a drink also pancakes are nice. One negative is the coffee could be better.

Perfect little snack bar for a quick bite to eat and a cuppa when in Talacre and on the go! Food prepared freshly in front of you and all at a good price. Coffee not the best but ok. If you get lemon pancakes, make sure they don't get completely ruined with lashings, lashings and lashings of lemon juice. My last ones were spoilt in exactly this way. Usually spot on food though!

We grabbed 2 burgers from here to eat whilst walking to the beach. Cheap warmed up burgers that could've been reheated a bit more. Onions would've been better cooked a bit longer. Not bad for a quick bite, I suppose.

Hey guys this dîner is a godsend thank you to the owner and his wife for this dîner fab ideat good is cheap very reasonable very clean and friendlyness is out standing

We come to Talacre often and Graces is our eatery of choice. We love the staff they're friendly, helpful and always have a smile. There's seating both inside and outside of the diner which is great on those sunny days and very windy days equally. The food is fast food but it's cooked excellently well. There's a good range of choice at reasonable prices and the meal deals are especially good value for money. I love this place and I have to have my last rave about the crépes they are to die for! Wonderfully sweet great as a dessert but also filling enough on their own. Great flavour combos too. Hot drinks available also great for kids and adults alike.

Great little place my son loved the craps with chocolate and the burgers weren't bad ..good value for money not like the caravan park ?????

Snacks are very nice and a reasonable price. The area is very clean and staff are friendlyWould recommend the waffles and ice cream

Decent beach grub and clean and well presented, although they should tell their signwriter there is only one N in "diner" :-)You can tell that virtually all visitors here are exclusively from the north west, as I have a very mild north eastern accent and the poor lass couldn't even understand me asking for coffee. If you have kids its s good place for a cheap ice-cream

Well prepared fast food and first class coffee cheaper than most. Both the grandkids and we had a good choice. Tables under cover can tend to be monopolised by played out punters waiting for other s in their group.

Really nice food there very clean with a number 5 :-) doughnuts could of been cooked Bit more bit was happy with service :-)

Thid was a dinner attached to the SANDANCER it was very clean we all had lunch and it was lovely and the kids had candy floss they were excited

We visited today and where pleasantly surprised at the high standard of both the food and the surroundings.Set just inside the arcade, the seating was comfortable and very clean.Would definitely visit again.

Freindly quick service, nice food to take away. The burgers and chips taste great. Outdoor seating and next to the arcades and beach

Been here many times when visiting Talacre. Always good snacks at reasonable prices...for a snack bar attached to an arcades. Hot dogs are lovely and so are the pancakes. If you want a nice-cream however, visit the ice-cream parlour round the corner!
