Absolutely tremendous food! Don't normally leave reviews, but me and my boyfriend were so blown away by the meal and the service I feel compelled! My steak was cooked just to my liking, The bbq glaze on the chicken was out of this world, seasoned fries were to die for and the friendly staff couldn't do enough for us. Some very talented chefs at this place. Highly recommended, gorgeous little eaterie. We've already booked to go back! Thanks again for an epic meal out!

Food was bland and portions unreasonable small. I ordered BBQ pulled pork Quesadillas. Mine came out first and I'd ate the lot before they finished bringing everyones food out. Hardly any pulled pork in them at all and few peices of sweetcorn, what a joke. Mac and cheese side was served cold and mushy. Feel ripped off, won't be returning.

First time visiting here and very disappointed told after ordering that they had ran out of some of the items we had ordered , the actually quality and portion sizes of the dishes was very poor and overpriced, won’t be returning also the seating needs attention, ripped seating with tape on .

We had a very very nice dinner at Deadwood Mold this week. There were five of us, ordered starters which were amazing, then a mix of burgers and ribs followed by dessert. The food was amazing, and the service was great. This was our first visit since this restaurant opened years ago but we will be definitely going back asap!!

Amazing..pre-booked a table which was ready at the time, great waitress took drinks order and food order at the same time, as we knew what we wanted. Food was fantastic, i had the beef long rib and my wife had rump steak, both were tasty and cooked to absolute perfection, even the chips were spot on. Everything was seasoned to perfection, we told the waitress we found the food exceptional, she informed us that they have a new chef, who is only 16. Well he certainly has a great future ahead of him, that was the best meal we have had for a long time. We will definitely be going back.

Great atmosphere and music. Waitresses were lovely and attentive. Chef clearly had very high standards as the food was amazing. Even got some in house entertainment with another table eating the death sauce wings which gave us a good laugh. If we’re ever in this part of the uk we’ll definitely revisit.

Food is really nice will definitely come back to try other things on the menu staff are polite and welcoming

Delicious food, amazing fries... Lots of choices. Got abit of my order mixed up but it's wasn't a problem. Sadly they don't do the milkshakes no more they told me. The restaurant is small but cosy. I was happy to see a sanitary basket in the women's bathroom with essentials in.

2 stars - Great food, but if you are not a white British you can expect poor service I visited Deadwood Smokehouse Mold yesterday with my wife, and we paid £76 for both of us. While the food was awesome and the kitchen staff really tried their best, the service was disappointing. 1) Despite having made a reservation, we were not greeted upon arrival - blonde lady from service seen us, but ignored us with stone cold look. After uncomfortable waiting for some time, we decided to seat ourselves. 2) We did not receive menus and had to ask for them. 3) When our food arrived, we realized we had not been given forks. We tried to get the attention of the service staff, but they ignored us for several minutes. Eventually, a member of the kitchen staff noticed us waving and helped us get forks, but by then, our dishes were no longer hot. 4) The staff asked the white British guests _a few times_ if they were happy with their meals but ignored us and did not ask if we were satisfied, which made us feel unwelcome. 5) I thought that perhaps the staff was overworked and not intentionally ignoring us, so I wanted to leave a tip. Usually, I receive the bill so I can leave a tip. However, I was not given a bill; instead, a gentleman simply brought the payment machine and not showed how much I should pay. I asked him to show me the amount first and asked for a bill. Gentleman said he would print it out, but he only gave me the credit card receipt. I explained that I wanted an itemized bill. He hadn't had a clue what I am talking about. I patently explained that a itemized bill is a piece of paper with the price for each item and the total sum, not just the credit card receipt. He seemed confused about my request, but I eventually received the itemized bill. It's also worth noting that the staff smiled and offered further assistance to the British guests around us, while we were met with somber faces, as if someone had died minutes ago. Nobody asked if we needed anything else, and at that point, I didn't bother asking for more drinks, even though I had wanted to purchase them. This was our third visit to Deadwood Smokehouse Mold. The food has always been good (the kitchen staff really tries hard!), but since the staff changed, it may not be the best place if you're not white british. They will make you feel unwelcome, even if you will spend a significant amount.

My husband and myself went here last night .we have been a few times before and never had any problems but last night was different .we arrived at 7 25 our table was booked for 7 30 told be asked could we come back in 20 mins as they were busy .so we did when we got back we were told there was no steaks available. Which is what we wanted .the menu was very limited .I ordered the chicken burger and my husband ordered chicken and ribs with ( death sauce ) very very hot .when our food came I started eating mine which came with a pot of sauce put a chip in it and ate it not realizing it was the death sauce. I couldn't taste any food after that my mouth was on fire such a let down .my husband said his ribs tasted like cardboard .the waitresses were amazing very apologetic ( not their fault) offered me lemon and water and ice cream to sore my on fire mouth. But from start to finish it was very poor

Visited Mold first time today. Popped in for the lunch. Absolutely great atmosphere. Food delicious. We haven’t waited for ages which was nice! The team is young but seems very on top of everything. Would definitely come back if we were around!

I came with my partner for our anniversary lunch. The staff were lovely, polite the food was amazing. We booked our table for 2:30 pm but we arrived an hour earlier than expected but they were nice enough to let us in. I would recommend coming here if you want to experience a quiet place to eat in the afternoon or trying some exciting foods with friends. The only problem I had was the female bathroom door was next to another door and when the other door is open the female bathroom door doesn’t open all the way when you’re trying to get out.

A bit of a hidden gem. Had no idea it existed and stumbled upon it by chance. It's actually fairly local to me too. But it is excellent all round. Great great food! Will certainly visit again.

Staff are spot on. Not rigid like some places but still professional. Food is amazing, tried almost everything with the platter and it was all good.

What can I say, with a hygiene rating of 5 and the welcoming staff, how could this place get any better.... Let me tell you! The food is absolutely delicious... 2 for 1 cocktails on a Thursday to accompany the melt in your mouth beef, unforgettable flavours... Highly recommended. Staying in herons lakes and stumbled across this tonight and wow so glad we did. Absolutely gorgeous food, drinks and service! Got the platter absolutely gorgeous food and such good amount for the price

Delicious food and excellent atmosphere. Friendly staff, good music, relaxed but buzzy. Our nacho starter was the best nachos we have ever had. Both main meals were perfectly cooked, lots of flavour.

We had a fab night, I had the ribs and they just melted in the mouth. Highly recommended

We have been keen to go here for sometime, booking is essential to avoid disappointment. We enquired and initially could not get time We wanted but staff are very accomadating and helpful, thank you Seren for your help. When we arrived we were greeted by staff who are very warm and welcoming. We were certainly not rushed but we did not need to wait for drinks or to order....lovely menu that makes you realise a few visits are needed....the food is very special and certainly everyone in out party were more than pleased...portion size is more than enough. We usually don't have desserts but this place offers some nice choices...the Smores are a must !!! We will definitely be going back...thank-you to alk the staff who made ot a lovely experience....

Food has really gone down hill. We usually do take out and this time the food was so bland. The onion rings soggy with no seasoning. They looked under cooked, we had two and the rest straight in the bin. Seasoned fries with no seasoning. Ribs with no flavour. Such a shame, not sure what's changed but won't be going back!

Amazing food great service and value

Went 28/01/24. Very busy and food looked amazing. End of the good part, burger patties were dry and hard, 4 on mine 2 on partners. Onion rings dripping in oil, Halloumi was so so salty, all the brisket was dry. Will not be going again. Save your money.

We have been coming here for a long time always been great food...... not this time. Ribs hard on the outside couldn't even cut, full of fat inside mine and my friends. Chicken was the best thing. My husband had the quesadillas said full of cheese on description which they were not and meat inside full of fat. Our friends husband had the same and left all of his.......had cheese cake for his dessert as his favourite......big piece missing. A place we loved to go unfortunately not now as put off. 😔

Love the ambiance in this place and music was spot on. The mocktail was tasty! Great menu, went for the beef brisket. The gravy was divine, I had extra! The fries were tasty and hot, brisket could have done with being warmer as it wasn't as hot coming out as we would have liked it to be. Other than that we would visit again. Reasonably priced. Great staff :)

The menu is great, good prices and lots to choose from.The desserts were also very good. Sadly that was our only positive. My steak was freezing cold, fries were hot so that was a bonus. The whole place was freezing, we all ate with our coats on. We received the bill and noticed the 20% discount for January hadn't been applied. When we raised this he said "well you didn't ask for it" and he then applied it begrudgingly. Their Facebook posts advertising the deal make no mention of needing to mention the discount, check your bills before paying!!!

Great service as usual. Had rump steak and chips. Bit disappointed doesn't come with any side ie grilled tom/flat mushroom. Only one lager available Coors. Expensive for area!

The staff were absolutely spot on and the food brilliant. We had the deadwood platter which I’d definitely recommend to anyone, just make sure you’ve got the appetite to tackle it, and whoever sets up the background music, can’t beat a bit of rock with your food, full marks all round.

Very disappointing. Bacon cheeseburger was small for the price at £13! Because we hadn't been there before we didn't know what the portion sizes were like.still feeling hungry after the burger.i had half roast chicken and fries which were OK. £37 for 2 meals and 2 drinks.not the cheapest. We were offered free dessert and 20%off vouchers but didn't want dessert just a decent burger (not puck size)! You shouldn't be feeling hungry after a meal out

Rather small, tables very close to each other, The girl I took felt very claustrophobic. But on the positive side the food was excellent. But we did not stay very long.

Lovely place but so tiny I couldn’t rest my arms on the table. Literally everything is tiny, even the served food. The food tastes amazing, lovely people serve you and you get your order lightning fast, but in my opinion this place is not suited for a restaurant. I don’t like to share my personal conversation with the people sitting at the next table literally inches away from you.

Amazing food and warm atmosphere. We were greeted by Seren who was very friendly and attentive. Rich was very knowledgeable and was great for recommending dishes. Would deffinatly recommend Deadwood and look forward to going again soon!

Well night started off a bit noisy due to a table of 2older men and 3 young adults being absolutely obnoxious so drunk dropping a glass and so loud . I do no the young girl likes chicken and chicken yes thats right she likes...

Great food, the platter, extra wings, burnt ends, opinion rings, sweet potato fries and extra Mac an cheese, was just enough for 3 very big appetites. 2extra cheese cakes to finish off. Best thing on the platter was the chicken, cooked beautifully. New manager was lovely, very attentive and helpful. Get her a coffee machine🤣

We loved this restaurant until we visited on the unlimited wings night; we were served two lots of wings and a drink, to be told that the wings had ran out mid meal (£15 for 8 wings and a pint isn’t exactly a mid week...

After looking forward to unlimited wings (which they do on Tuesdays only), we were told they were sold out after bringing over the 2nd portion of 4. So these are sold as unlimited wings! I asked if they would offer anything else and was told...

Ordered cheese grill, got burnt toast with brown stuff on it. Ordered chicken goujons, burnt Chips were soggy, also burnt my tongue as to much black pepper on it. Mac cheese cold Chicken wrap wet J2o was nice though All in all 48 quid went in bin and I had to cook. I would never order again. All 4 of us were disappointed 😞

Wow...tiny word with big meaning, we ordered the platter to share and it was simply amazing. Normally with this kind of thing you get a lot of stuff that doesn't taste of anything but not here. Everything tasted freshly cooked and stunning. We were very very impressed with everything and can't wait to come back. Thanks all. Great spot for tasty food. As a meat avoider, I'd have liked a few more non meat options and a bigger difference in price between vegetable and smoked meat. But the service was fantastic and I will definitely go back.

Everything was really good, I had burnt ends, Philly cheese steak and fries with the deadwood deadly sauce, It’s really hot and tasty but creeps up on you. Lunch time on a Monday we also got 25% of the main menu and the lunchtime specials looked like a bargain.

Such a lovely atmosphere and all staff were very kind and hard working. Food tasted brilliant, will definitely go again.

It would be great if they have all what is on the menu without fail everytime we go there they always seem to run out of food. That's the only downfall 😪

The food was to die for!!! We were in the area for a wedding and fancied a meal out. Could not rate the place enough. I had the smoked long rib beef and it was cooked to perfection. We are contemplating driving all the way back one weekend just to come and eat again. The service was outstanding and very reasonably priced.

The chicken was a little dry but did have a brilliant crunchy coating with great flavour. The added pulled pork was dry and wasn't noticeable really. I was glad I had slaw to give some moisture to the burger because it was lacking a sauce. More importantly I loved every bite of the beef rib! Beautifully smoked hunk of meat with a fantastic sweet bbq sauce. The waiter was a pleasure and made good conversation. There was also a good vibe with varied music. Definitely not my last visit to Deadwood but I'll be having a Monster burger again next time!

Stunning platter fair play to them. Much better than that other smokehouse themed chain that's popping up everywhere. Lovely staff. Great service. Struggled to drive the 60 miles home after it. Booking is recommended, as the venue isn't very big. Shame really, if they had a bigger place they'd be raking it in. Will definitely be back soon. Cheers guys

Worst bbq experience I've ever had. Walked in and not a whiff of smoke which I said to the other half was a bad sign and we should have turned around then. Ribs were thin, grey, and had never been near a smoker in a million years. Service was friendly and quick but food was awful. Not an experience I would ever repeat!

We love Deadwood and have been coming for 4 years +. Unfortunately our dinner tonight was not what we were used to. We spend a total of 30 minutes in the restaurant (it takes us longer than this to drive there). Happy to have quick service, but our drinks and meal was at the table within 10 minutes of arriving. Doesn’t allow for time to enjoy dining out. Two girls serving were a bit unprofessional and just not as happy and polite as usual. Food was good but not as great as usual, never had a bad meal previously so was disappointed it didn’t blow us away as normal. The time spent here wasn’t by choice, we would have happily had a few drinks, browsed the menu more and probably had spend a lot more whilst there. But the £65 bill wasn’t worth the 30 minutes we spent there. Doesn’t feel like the hour + round trip is worth it like it used to be.

I really like this place for wings some of the best around full of flavour moist chicken and the blue cheese sauce is so good. However I wouldnt recommend the burgers, I had one on my most recent visit as they had no wings in...

Booked a table. Arrived 1.30 as arranged. Upon arrival was informed that they didn't have any chicken, lettuce, onion, sources, among other things. We ordered a bottle of shiraz off the menu, they didn't have any of that. Ordered the ribs but decided the whole experience was not good so canceled the order and left. Will not go back again. Still stressed now.

Visited this place while we were having a weekend break in Mold. We were not disappointed! The starters were lovely and good portion sizes and for main we had beef rib with glaze and the chicken waffle burger. Both were out of this world some...

After many visits tonight will be the final, went into the restaurant tonight at 5pm after being seated was presented the menu and then was shown the offers menu. Server came to take the order and was then told sorry offer finished at 5 however the Waiter (possibly the manager) tried to sort this and gave us a free drink. After the food had been ordered however this is when things started to go down hill. The chefs could be heard making inappropriate comments through the window in the kitchen, at one point one was banging his head against the back door. The food then arrived and two bits of plastic was found in the food mixed into the actual burger. This instantly put me off. Upon letting the waiter know I was told “this is just cling film that the meat is wrapped in”. If this had been in a child’s meal they could’ve choked. I was then offered a free dessert however no longer wanted to eat there based on the plastic and the inappropriate chefs. I have had nothing but praise for deadwood however will not go back again. In response to the so called manager, the fact you only respond to the bad reviews says it all, very professional. I missed out the bit where you dropped the Uber eats order all over the restaurant floor and just picked it up and delivered it anyway. The time we came in before that and you stated all your chefs had left because to quote “think they’re better than they actually are” the owners should look if you’re fit to carry out your job.

Found 3 hairs in burger, told the waitress she asked 'Have you pulled them out'!!! You could see the Chef did not have a hat/hair net on whilst cooking the food. Completely disgusting and put us off. Was offered 50% off the 1 burger as already ate some of it- to which this wasn't applied to the bill. Would not return nor recommend to anyone.

What a great find! Cosy welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was amazing… had that authentic hickory flavour to it, NOTHING was left on our plates! The cocktails were also freshly delicious and the whole experience was just lovely and good value for money....

The owners response to most of the negative reviews is unprofessional. As the owner you should take on board the negative reviews rather than getting cocky🤷‍♀️ Food was awful when we visited and the staff were inappropriate! Tables were sticky and the chairs were ripped. Wouldn’t recommend spending your money here.

Ordered a takeaway. Notes on the order not adhered to. Food could not be eaten. Management ignored complaint and blamed Uber. We will no longer order from here or frequent the restaurant again as we do ofen as a family. Disgusting treatment of customers. In reply to the owner. My son has an intolerance to onions that trigger ashma attacks. Highly unprofessional of you. I will be taking the matter further now due to your negligent reply.

We ended up in the Deadwood Smokehouse by pure chance after a dental appointment. We had driven an hour and a half for the appointment, hadn’t eaten beforehand, therefore, we were famished! What a good call our decision to walk in was. The front of house guy was very welcoming without being overly. Comprehensive menu with lots to chose from. The food was presented perfectly and was so tasty. I am renowned for over ordering when dining with my husband, this is the first time in years I demolished the whole lot! Couldn’t a fault it and neither could my husband. He has another follow up dental appointment in a month, I’ve made sure I’m on a day off so I can accompany him…literally for the food at the Deadwood Smokehouse. 😆

Went to celebrate our wedding anniversary (4th July 🇺🇸). Booking a table via the website was quick & easy, when we arrived we were shown to our table for the time the booking was made for. Food was lovely & service first class, would highly recommend.

Food was absolutely amazing and came out super quick. Meg was Brilliant especially with my lactose intolerance and the amount of food for the price was outstanding. My partner got the beacon cheese burger and I got the ribs with jd sause which was so sweet and gorgeous and a almoast choc cake with vegan ice cream to go. Definitely pre book as we were lucky to get a table (thanks again for squeezing us in). Overall an amazing experience and with all that plus 2 drinks coming to just over 50 quid I'm incredibly happy.
