Not great, always very busy and the shop layout isn't good

Not a great fan of Tesco,however the staff are very nice. Yesterday I went on a shop and went to pay. I used the till at the far end of the store and was served by a flame haired tall chap. He was a joy to meet and even helped me pack my shopping. What a star and Welsh through and through. Well done employing him.

Visited recently needed help at the self service till girl barely civil.

Good parking staff are friendly

Cafe was fine but shop was a disaster. Tried to buy 2 boxes of paracetamol and 2 boxes of Ibuprofen. Jobsworth working the self service till wouldn’t let me buy them as they only let you buy 2 boxes of medications? Weren’t bothered you can take ibuprofen with paracetamol. Made no mention about the 6 tins of soup and 6 tins of beans. No ‘Sorry madam only allowed to sell 2 tins at a time’. Anyone needing a huge amount of pills for a night in is best going to Aldi.

Brilliant little store staff are lovely but parking is a nightmare Especially The disabled parking bays with Inconsiderate people parking there without Badges that is why I dropped them a star

The Shops floor stinks staff are rude sell by dates are by far the worst even had items out of date and had to take back for refund. petrol station advertised as 24hr but always coned off after 9pm and always the most expensive in the area.

Cannot get through by phone to lodge a complaint! Tesco implementing too complex for their customers. Shall commence using other supermarkets locally as well now.

Oh dear. My Sausage Bap was so awful. The bread was, I think, a frozen item. When combined with sausage it became a strange dense mass. I politely sent it back. Nice response from the staff who gave me a refund. Not good Tesco sorry

Not the most glamorous supermarket but it's functional and works.

I went here on a Friday and I ordered the cheese and ham toastie ,it came within 5 minutes, it had melted cheese on top and an exquisite taste. I would highly recommended

No toilet paper in ladies or soap in gents toilets. After reporting this to customer services, found on returning to store 3 hours later, these had not been replenished. Area under Skimmed milk racks was dirty and smelly due to lots of dirty spilt milk on the floor. Young members of staff were standing chatting in groups in the aisle. The cashier on the till coughed over my goods whilst scanning them without covering her mouth. Haven’t been to Mold / this store for over 5 years but standards had certainly slipped!!

Large, clean store, lots of stock, very friendly, helpful staff.

Purchased a couple of Products in this store in the Evening of Monday 4th December 2023 and a Friendly staff menber called Mike on self service was Friendly and helpfuly i had a problem with something and mike tried to rectified the problem for me you don't get many lovely people like him 👍 Thank you

Just come back from tesc in Mold. Couldn't find what I was looking for . It was a spiced rum on offer for 2 more days. I asked a young boy who was putting some stock out in another part of the store, he was very pleasant and came to have a look. Couldn't find it but said they did have stock . He got a bottle from the the store in the back. I 'd just to say how pleasant and helpful he was, didn't get his name though. Lady on till very pleasant too. Thank you 😊

Declines on a weekly basis. Lack of fish counter and meat counter has reduced it to little more than a old Kwick Save store. Depressing.

Excellent store, and well stocked. Very friendly helpful staff nothing is too much trouble. I can always find someone to ask for help.

To many tills without staff working them so no interaction with real people just big queues all the time and prices going through the roof.

at the cafe in mold tesco. woman with grey hair was rude. arguing with a other staff member in front of customers. no hair nets being warn while working with food. how has food hygiene passed them on 5.

Saturday lunchtime cafe about half full, ordered food and was told 15 min wait. 30 mins later got our food. Very small basic portions, not great value. Customer on next table complained about the wait, and he was fobbed off and told they were very busy with a backlog of delivero orders. Some staff members found his complaint funny! Overall very disorganised and poor service all round. Perhaps they should prioritise customers in the cafe!

They have closed more tills with people making shopping experience awful as there are long ques on people tills. Why not take a survey first on what people of mold want not just force it onto a community

There has been a dramatic drop in the number of products stocked and it is now very difficult to complete a weekly shop here without having to go elsewhere as well.

Not liking the fact there are more and more self scan tills, if I wanted to scan shopping I'd apply for a job there, plus most of them are going card only, surely we should be able to choose if we want to become a cashless society instead of having it thrust upon us

Called whilst we were visiting Mold for a late lunch. The place was very quiet so our order was taken quickly. The staff very very friendly and welcoming but the menu was quite limited. There was a problem with the freezers so some things were off the menu, even though we were in. Supermarket to get supplies. The fish and chips were unavailable so we had scampi instead. the portion was ok but could have done with a few more chips for the money. The child’s meal hitch came free with an adult meal was good. All in all worth another visit if we were in the area.

Easy access, has all the usual stuff.

Stopped off for afew essentials Store was busy . Had a very friendly check out assistant Karen D who was chatty and asked if we had got all we needed. 😊

2022 March: Great variety of vegan products. However I'm disappointed that you still sell Russian products (Dove, Rexona, Lynx, etc. cosmetics) 2022 Jan: I had vegan English breakfast. Very delicious.

I've been to other Tesco cafes and thought I would try this one for the first time. Not much organisation at all. Stood by the till for at least 5 minutes without any staff making eye contact, too busy shuffling about making coffees. When I did grab someone's attention I ordered a simple breakfast (3 items) and was handed a table number. Almost all of the tables had dirty plates and mugs on them, so I cleared my table myself. The lady serving the food was lovely, it came quickly and was hot. The staff are trying their best. I just think they could use one more pair of hands to make things run smoothly. Food was alright - hash browns were very oily and a bit soggy, Mushrooms were quite overdone and the bacon was just about cooked - it was unsmoked but incredibly salty, so much so that I had to ask for a glass of water. Only ate half of it and looking around the cafe I noticed barely anyone eating, everyone was having tea and coffee. The pictures on the walls of lovely sausage and mash or fish and chips look great, but it's all style and no substance. Probably best to give it a miss, unless you fancy a tea.

Top marks for Tesco's staff. So kind and helpful. I'd done a huge load of shopping this morning as I try to cut down on visits to supermarkets due to Covid 19. I had an enormous pack of cat food cans weighing almost 5Kilos. Even the weigh scales at the self checkout baulked when I first dropped it on. I looked at the pile of shopping and remarked "I'm going to be here for a while" To my surprise the young assistant proceeded to pack the lot for me. Thank you Tesco's

Not a bad experience however I noticed a strong stench of urine near the deli counter.

Very good Tesco supermarket in Mold with a cafe, toilets and cash machine. It's got a large free carpark and is close to the town.

Staff are always helpful and friendly, easy to find stuff.

Been trying Tesco again and still so disappointed with the vegetable situation! What on earth happening, can we get fresh veg around here!! Everything moldy after a day or two in the fridge or outside! Potatoes carrots peppers etc...mr Tesco you can do better than that!! Morrison down the road can!

Surely 2 prices for products is illegal? One price for clubcard holders anothrr price for others major difference in some prices. Wrong just wrong custom lost

It's very clean.. The staff are very helpful and I feel safe shopping in there.. Face masks and hand sanitiser as you walk in..

Bit disappointed with the system there now under new regulations. Still no one way system and multiple people (family) crowding the isles. Morrisons now operates 1 person 1 trolly system at the moment..

Had a lovely lunch outside as that was all permitted in our circumstances. Would highly recommend.

Visited recently and organization was great, though queuing it wasnt a long wait. Got everything i wanted and was reassured before attending regarding worry over any problems i may have. Staff amazingly helpful.

Yesterday had cause to visit Tesco Mold, though Front Store closed off, guided via staff n markings to Cafe at Back, where given (if needed) Sanitised Trolleys. Put in a Line, 2m apart, & eventually into Store within 10minute only wait quicker than thought!! Guided via other staff members in what to do around the Store! All complete within 1/2Hr to 40mins! All Staff, Female & Male, Smiling & Polite, not rude or anything, deserve Bonus!!

Most food ie breakfast items, baked potatoes look like they’ve been there for hours and taste the same. Whilst they are not the most expensive cafe in town they are expensive for what you get and the quality.

Called in for a breakfast, on a Friday at 9.30.. it was empty...never a good sign so should have left then, sadly I never. No staff about but an array of buffet breakfast items were on show...which looked like they has been thee all week...should have left then, sadly I never. Eventually got served and opted for the breakfast, 1 item of each and managed to point at the items I wanted hoping for a fresh item, there were none. The fried egg was good though! Toast came cold with no butter and paid £6. Terrible food and service...never again.

Went for breakfast. Empty cafe. Ordered a cooked breakfast. Each breakfast item a £1.00 each !!!!! Not even decent food. Cheap frozen sausage, thin salty bacon, small greasy hash browns. I cancelled my order on principle. If I'd had a coffee and toast too it would have been nearly £10 for a greasy spoon breakfast. Miserable staff too. No wonder the cafe is always empty. Never again. Come on tesco, you must have to take some responsibility for this dire cafe.

In der Innenstadt kann man den großen Wocheneinkauf auf einem Schlag unter einem Dach erledigen. Am Ende wie wäre es mit einer Kaffeepause oder englisches Frühstück. Hier alles gut und günstig gedeckt.

Well what can you say expect very bad the breakfasts cold had no coffee, the black pudding was like coal rock hard staff not very helpful. for such a big company you would think it would have someone who knows how to cook hot plates would help

I am absolutely appalled with Tesco Mold. Me and my friends purchase food at least twice a week from there. I have had no issues with the staff from the main store but as for the cafe staff I have to go against that. We bought food from the store and ate it in the cafe and we were told if we wanted to sit there at least one of us had to buy something. So each time we did. We still got comments like “you are taking the mick being here” “you’re just using the WiFi ect” (although we are never on our phones. It’s ridiculous when I’ve never had problems sitting in there in the past. It’s often older man with glasses but mainly a small lady with hair in a bun who works there. As somebody who works in retail I know what good customer service is and when this lady stares us Down and talks about us virtually right next to us to other emoployees it makes us feel very victimised and is shocking service. Today was the worst when nobody told us to buy anything so we just sat down. We were about to leave when the lady came over and said once again “you’re taking the mick” which in my opinion isn’t appropriate to say to customers and also said that this is the last time we were allowed in the cafe as we always sit there which isn’t actually true. It’s not as if we are taking up tables as there are always about 7 tables free. We told her usually we buy something and she just said “well you should of thought about that today”. It gave me a lot of anxiety and stress which as a Tesco paying customer I don’t appreciate. I do not recommend that cafe. Even when I went up to buy something she was never smiling and always looked down at me. Made me feel awful. I won’t be returning. Tesco has lost a customer today

Cafe is always clean, staff work hard. It's good value for money, I always fill in my survey on my receipt to get extra club card points.

I ordered a tomato and mushroom omelette the last time I went there and both came from a tin. I would have sworn the eggs were pre-mixed as even that tasted terrible. Never again

Great for a quick snack although not a grape at ranged menu. Usually wuiet so always served quickly. More like a school cafeteria really.

I’ve previous put a review on this cafe and i think I was generous with my comments but not this time I’m afraid. In my opinion the cafe has gone from bad to worse. I was there this morning with my grandson .we had tea and toast which was fine until i went for the cutlery.to say it was dirty was an understatement. There was hard food stuck to a lot of the knives and the rest were stained like they had just been rinsed under the tap.Come on Tesco pull your socks up If you want to run a cafe successfully at least keep it clean

Lovely, genuinely friendly staff. Really nice people. Had Brunch in the cafe and staff were lovely and food was lovely. An elderly gentleman came in and staff couldn't do enough for him, helping him with cutlery and condiments which they did not need to do and he didn't need to ask. Well done to you all

It's just a average Tesco shop and cafe. Cafe is a bit annoying as I bought food in Tesco and I just want to sit down to eat in the cafe bit they wouldn't let me.

Un amigo y yo comimos aquí y fue realmente horrible. Pedimos patatas asadas y vinieron con ensalada. También elegimos una taza de queso rallado y una taza de atún mayonesa ir en ellos. Toda la comida era tan seco como para ser apenas comestible. Las patatas estaban obviamente pre-cocinados (esperan que cuando pides una papa al horno), pero sería ser generoso decir que sabía a que había sido estar allí un par de días. El atún estaba seco, cómo mayo nada que viene en una salsa puede probar en seco es más allá de mí.

Llamado aquí para café y tostadas esta mañana. El café con leche que pedí estaba también la vía láctea casi ningún café. El pan era casi preparado y muy pastoso. Nos dijeron por dos porciones de mermelada me dijeron que era de 1 porción por 2 piezas de pan tostado. No volveremos.

Como en la tienda. Como el café. Su problema es que están cortos de personal. pero hacen su mejor. Yo voy mucho para tomar un café y un pastel. El personal es bastante agradable, teniendo en cuenta principalmente hay sólo dos trabajando a la vez. Tienen que cocinar, limpia y servir. El único punto negativo que le dan es que necesitan nueva vajilla

Very basic supermarket cafe. Had a coffee and Childs drink with biscuit. Clean and staff were very chatty and pleasant.

We shop here every week on a Thursday night , we've been everywhere else shopping but always come back here , most of the time they stock everything we need & find the till staff are knowledgeable , friendly & helpful ( there is a super lady called Amanda ) from Cefn y Bedd ) who is such a credit to to the team .

Called this morning 1st had to get to restaurant by fighting though trolleys left around .ordered 2 sausage sandwiches. Got...

Popped in for morning coffee (around 9am). Till was down so there was a little queue whilst people waited to pay. My coffee cup was chipped so I asked the assistant to destroy. No refund/more coffee was offered. Disappointed.

The cafe here is awful. Hardly anyone there & yet asking for their advertised omelette seemed to throw them..after waiting while the man serving went to consult in the kitchen I was told it would take 15 minutes, despite the lack of customers, for a simple omelette!!. So my husband & I went for jacket potatoes kept warm under a cover. We were told we had to find pots of cheese & coleslaw back at the beginning of the aisle to put on them! Then, worst of all when placing my potatoe on a plate he used his bare hands to open up the slices in it, yuk!! What's more they were Luke warm & cost £3.95 each. Terrible service, poor quality & not hygienic. I'd expect more from a major chain like Tesco. I wonder if anyone reads these reviews in the company.....

Been left standing in the middle of the aisle twice in the past 7 days here. Requiring about an item and no communication from the staff not bothering to tell me where they were wandering off to or if there still dealing with me or not. Just basically left to stand in the aisle like a lemon not knowing what's happening minimal help considering there's staff everywhere. Second occasion going in there about 10pm for some shopping and went to buy cigarettes - No one on the cigarette counter, asked someone near who worked there "you'll need to see the lady down there" There was no lady there ?? I find someone they say"what there's no one on the counter" Then asks me to "come round here" Where is round here!?? The aisle? the self services checkout? the customer service desk?? By the way she walked off as well !Left standing there looking stupid twice.I buy my cigarettes in bulk (200 pack) so that and the other item I couldn't get due to the staff that's £132 you could of got that day but didn't ! It was not as if the staff were young/moody teenagers either. Focus on one customer at a time spend less time talking to other employees unless it's really necessary.

Food is horrible. I won't eat there again the staff just stand there looking right through you and there snobby and awful food is left for hours then sereved I asked for something on breakfast menus and they didn't even have it....?

i won't be visiting this place again, the food was cold (everything kept warm under lamps) bacon overcooked, egg was horrible, cold beans. i won't be eating here again. there are a lot better cafe's in mold town centre a short walk away.

Too large a store, too large a company, poor quality and over priced. Much better stores around today. Walk round the town and shop local.

Go here quite a lot to do my weekly shop do have some good offers however marks and spencer's has just opened and I prefer some of their bits. Helpful staff some over helpful such as flirty Greg! only bad experience I ever had was with a strange staff member Nathan who was quite spotty and around 19, he was very rude one day and slurred his words however I think he's left now!! Some very good looking staff there so its good if you're single!!! would recommend for a mingle and some Pringles!!!!

This is far and away the best Tesco in the area, for customer service and friendliness in particular. There are good deals available and the staff are always happy and willing to help. After completing a recent survey, an item that had previously been removed from the shelves was reinstated proving that the staff really listen to customer feedback.

You'll find everything you need for your weekly shopping trip, fresh fruit and veg, fresh meat and fish and everything in between. And now with the local car wash and valet service on hand it's a good place to visit.

Well lit. Good deals. Quality. Variety. Best customer service. Fresh food. Good for vegetarians and vegans. Cheap if you don't buy brands. Enjoyable shopping experience

Not sure what I expected, but I definitely got less. Really poor choice of pre packed sandwiches. Had to choose something I didn't really want as the chicken and bacon had to go to my wife who doesn't like cheese (it was that poor a selection). Ham and cheese toastie had a bit of an odd taste; like kitchen anti-bac. A drink each, sandwich, crisps and a biscuit for 4. £25. Really could have chosen somewhere better in mold. Paid for my own laziness. Do yourself a favour and walk into town.

You can tell these supermarkets are struggling , poor quality and over priced fresh foods, terrible service from staff that just want chat and gossip while you stand there waiting to be served. And why do tesco keep moving there goods to different aisles , I don't have the time to waste an extra 30 min looking for something that has been moved to another aisle since the week before. Sorry .... don't like tesco ... at all.

The build a breakfast is the best breakfast you can get for the money. It's always hot eggs and toast fresh to order how you like it and serves proper fried bread. It's no gourmet stuff but it's lovely.
