Nandos Brewery 1/4 in Cardiff

La comida estaba bien, no tan bueno como cualquier otro Nando que he estado en. Sin embargo, había moscas por todas partes constantemente tratando de entrar en la comida o bebidas. El segundo miembro del personal que le contamos se ofreció a movernos a una mesa cerca de la puerta y postres gratis, sin embargo 2 / 3 de nosotros había terminado nuestra comida. No es lo suficientemente bueno para un Nando más nuevo.

Ir a este nandos bastante a menudo ir en esta ocasión me dejó fuera, , , puedo entender wen es ocupado persona parecía que no nos quería allí no hay razón por la cual y sirve nuestra comida horriblemente también nuestro pedido fue compartido en 2 plato que pagué completo por 2 absolutamente discutido

Yo digo que fue el almuerzo, convertido en cena porque la comida tomó mucho tiempo! Esperábamos 45 minutos por un poco de pollo, absolutamente trágico. Cuando salió, estábamos extremadamente abrumados - y nuestro camarero sirvió nuestra comida tardía con un lado de sarcasmo. Ella estaba vestida más inteligentemente y no en uniforme, así que suponemos un gerente; tanto más trágico. Además, no tienen pajitas. Mi esposa necesitaba una pajita y esta mujer me dijo groseramente que no tenían ninguna, pobre experiencia de Nando 3 / 10. Es difícil chapucear un Nando’s, pero lo hicieron expertamente aquí 🗑️

Look, if you enjoy a Nandos then there's not much else to say, it is in a cool setting being in Cardiffs old brewery quarter, it wasn't too busy, quickly seated and we ordered, food came quickly and tasted as a Nandos should, place was clean and tidy, the only criticism I have is that the Macho peas should now be called Friendly peas, I make a much better version at home!

Myself and my partner visited this Nando’s on Valentine’s Day at around 3:30pm and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were treated by a lovely young lady (sounded as though she was from Birmingham so she can be recognised by the store!). The lady informed us that there would be a 5 minute wait but we were seated almost immediately which was lovely. She then showed us to our table, and couldn’t have been nicer telling us how to order etc. unfortunately they had run out of chicken thighs, so we were unable to have our go to order (fino pitta 10/10!!). I then asked another young lady with blonde hair if we could have the fino pitta, with chicken breast instead of thigh. She asked her manager and couldn’t have been more accommodating, as they were able to do this for us! Both ladies checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay and we were enjoying our meal! To the two lovely ladies, who were working in the downstairs area of the restaurant at 3:30pm. Thank you for your kind hospitality and I hope your branch see this and reward you suitably for your hard work!! Xx

My partner and I popped in around 20:00 before going out for drinks in town.The restaurant was not very busy but had plenty of staff. Food was lovely delivered hot and quickly to the table. Despite being 2 o'clock on a bank holiday Monday it was relatively empty with almost noone upstairs. Toilets were upstairs and there the concerns started with broken sanitary bins and large toilet paper rolls located on the floor. Maintenance cupboards were left open and seemed untidy and dirty. Simply closing the door would have hidden all of this and stopped any transference of germs.

Ob ein Tisch frei oder besetzt ist, sieht man an dem Nandu, der in der Halterung für Speisekarte und Tischnummer steckt. Steckt der Vogel, ist der Tisch besetzt. Das Essen wird dann von der Kellnerin gebracht.Softdrinks konnten gratis nachgefüllt werden.Die Tischreinigung mit Spray und Lappen während die Gäste schon sitzen ist etwas ungewohnt - und übrigens auch nicht sehr gründlich.

My work mate and I ate here last week and there isn't much to say really, it's a Nandos. they are all pretty much the same up and down the country(Accept the one in stratford , east London) this one is in a nice courtyard of bars and serves chicken with spicy sauces.

We had a last minute change of plan for our hen do and came across Nando's in brewery quarter. There were 10 of us with no booking (not possible saturdays) but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Having frequented Nando's in Southampton and Portsmouth we knew what we were in for. Rhys was our guy, it was his first day and dealt with his first hen party like a star. He was game for a laugh, good natured and showed us to our table quickly. We ordered, food came quickly and we left satisfied. Can't really say much more. The restaurant was clean, tidy and we enjoyed our first Nando's in Cardiff :) if we're in the area agai we'd definitely go there again!

Nando's is always our favorite restaurant, delicious food, we love chicken with tender sauce and creamy mashed potato is brilliant. Our favorite restaurant is the one in st. Mary, near central library, it provides halal chicken.

My husband has raved about this restaurant in other cities so when we went down the alley tonight and saw it we popped in. £19.95 for a whole chicken, 2 sides and unlimited soft drinks. The chicken was tender and just right. We got the lime/mango and so flavorful. Our waitress and all the staff very friendly. A nice dinner on a fun Friday evening in a very vibrant downtown area!!

The restaurant is decorated typically as per the chain, and is a peasant but unremarkable place to eat.FOODI ordered a vegetarian 'beanie' burger, along with peri-salted chips and macho peas. Visited here with my family, we were told there was a 20 minute wait which was fine as we was glad to get a table somewhere. We was told we could have a drink while we wait and she walked off. We were not told where the waiting area was or that we had to order our own drinks. We would not of known this as none of us had ever been to a Nando's before. We were taken to our table within 10 minutes anyway. Again, not told we had to order at the bar or had to get our own cutlery and sauces. Food was good but nothing special, no side salad. The staff were miserable and did not ask if the food was ok. Would not return or recommend Nando's unfortunately.

We decided to try Nando's while visiting Cardiff and Xmas shopping. There are plenty of dining options close by but we went for Nando's.It was quite busy but we had a table fairly quickly. The queue to order the food was quite long, and only one till open for most of the time.The girl who took our order was friendly and helpful, and we ordered with ease.The soft drinks are re-fillable but there were no glasses so we had to wait about 10 minutes for the glasses to be washed.The food turned up before too long and the food was quite good, apart from the chips being a bit on the lukewarm side. We decided to eat them as they weren't cold and we wanted to enjoy the meal.The food was tasty and we were pleased with our choices.Overall it was ok, but no wow factor.We will probably return if visiting Cardiff again.

Visited for my lunch and having waited over an hour I had to ask for a refund, I actually saw what I think was my food being taken to another table as I left. Terrible

Nice restaurant good food but slow service which did lead to a backup in the kitchen, when ordering our food I could see that food wasn’t leaving the kitchen as quickly as it should, there were loads of plates waiting to be delivered to tables and I wasn’t surprised that my chicken was lukewarm when it was finally delivered. It was still nice though and would try this place again.

We are not Nando's fans usually but being somewhere away from home we thought we'd give it a go.We didn't think they would be a table for 5 available as we had come out of the Cinema after 7pm on a Saturday night.A pleasant young chap welcomed us at the front door and got us a table sorted within five minutes- excellent start!Upstairs we were unfortunately between two tables full of teenage kids and three of their parents/carers who despite our efforts couldn't seem to put a stop to their play fighting and throwing of chips!The food was overpriced and came in very small portions, the waitress spilled a drink all over my husband (who spent his meal time perched on the end of the table to avoid sitting in the wet!) and the customer service had a lot to live up to.Waitress Leah was friendly and talkative at the end of the night, she seemed to have some oomph and I wonder if we had been served by her earlier would he have had a better experience overall?

Today was the Cardiff half marathon, decided to lunch at Nando's St Davids centre. The wait was only 5 mins, considering how busy it was. Food arrived quickly, the staff were pleasant and very approachable. When we needed to upgrade our seating from 2 to 4 people the staff obliged. Overall a very nice lunch visit.

They got some real peri peri dishes but the portions were too small for the price , waiter or the menu never mentioned the size of the portions until yourself !

I have visited this Nandos several times before and it has been outstanding each time. But on my most recent visit, I went along with my partner.Upon our arrival, the customer service we received was great. However, after waiting 25 minutes for our food, which was brought to us by an extremely rude waitress who dropped half of my partners chips over the table and laughed about it, then walked away without offering a replacement, this visit was just a major letdown. To top the whole experience off, there were bones on the windowsill, yes bones! I assume a previous customer may have thrown them there and they have gone unnoticed by the staff but it is no way sanitary and completely off putting. Overall, if I was to make a visit to Nando's, I will take my custom to St David's 2.

A very nicely laid out branch. Staff were a bit rushed at the time but really food was good.Had to wait a while for forks, and when informed the manager who had obviously been asked already numerous times, she answered with a snappy 'They're coming' Still waited ten minutes after that.But the food was good as per.

Everyone knows what to expect when they go into a Nando's and this restaurant provides exactly that. The staff were friendly, the new Churrasco burger was really tasty and the restaurant.

We timed it just right for a quick no frills good value meal on the way to a rugby match at the Cardiff Arms park. The service was good and the warm food arrived quickly. The restaurant was not very busy when we arrived but it did fill up not long after. If you enjoy chicken then this is the place for you. There are a choice of sauces available, we prefer the taste and flavour of the lemon and herb. Some of the sauces can be a bit livelier for those who like a spicy or hot alternative. We are regular visitors it is what it is and we have never been disappointed.

Never tried Nando's before. Wish I hadn't. Mean portions, bland food, cold chips, one male member of staff disinterested; others fine. Wouldn't go again.

I'm a fan on the Nandos concept. My children love they can help themselves to iced water and then have bottomless frozen yoghurt. Good branch, friendly staff.

We like Nandos wherever we are. Our visit today was the first time we had been to Nandos Cardiff. My husband was chatting with our waitress and she advised coleslaw to help with very spicy food. Top tip! Restaurant very clean. Lift for less abled people / pushchairs to get upstairs. Great friendly staff.

Ate here as needed somewhere quick befit heading out into the cardiff nightlife. We'd been at the cricket all day so needed fast good. Nandos is always a good choice. I always go with the same and the food didn't disappoint. Only problem was the beer was very warm. Either fridges not turned up high enough or they had only just put some in.

They literally couldn't care less about the quality anymore at Nandos. Waited ages - the person in front of us in the queue had eaten and LEFT before we had even had our meals plated before us. My partner had the prego steak roll and it was cold, so was his creamy mash and garlic bread. The server apologised to him and said he forgot to bring it out...while I still sat there for another 5 minutes without any food in front of me. We ordered together and paid together - not separately. I had to ask to see when my food was coming I was waiting that long. My partner finished way before me as a result. My meal was so obviously rushed and it was such a waste of money. I have attached a picture of my garlic bread. Bearing in mind every other time it has had a sort of chargrilled effect, I was dubious when I first saw it on my plate. After biting into it it was cold and moist. It was gross. My pitta had no mayo in as usual and the chicken was drenched in sauce. My pitta was broken too, it had torn underneath and was a nightmare to eat. It wasn't busy. It was a Monday night at 8 pm and they were only using downstairs tables. No idea why the service and quality was so underwhelming. Never going back to any Nandos again soooo disappointed.

First time for Roulette Chicken Wings and it didnt disappoint. Extremely tasty and just enough heat in the sauce. Coupled this with a lovel meditarranean salad and it was perfect.

Que a mile long. Overpriced. Small portions . Food is ok . More meat on a budgie .you do need loads of sides. Good range of sauce. Refills are good option . If you got money to burn and want to feel apart of the in croud feel free to go.

Usual Nandos high standard of food and customer service. Didn't have to wait long for a table or for the food to be served. Piping hot and delicious! :) Still a firm favourite of mine.

I always order chicken with creamy mash and spicy rice. It's just my favourite from Nandos. I've never bothered ordering other dishes to be honest, but I do change the level of hotness of the chicken I want every single time depending on my mood.

My son loves nandos so to encourage him to walk around shopping I treated him The nandos experience was pretty average, I'm pleased to say the food was delivered to our table by a very polite young lady and it was all piping hot. Our table was clean and our lunch time meal was a stress free.

Visited this Nandos on the evening of 27th March 2016. Friendly staff. It was very quiet for a Nandos but it was Easter Sunday and not many places were open in Cardiff. . We were told the food would arrive quickly when we ordered and it did. Food was nice and fresh. The only bad experience we had was that it was extremely cold in the restaurant. The air conditioning was obviously on even though it was already a cold night. We put our coats back on after a while. We should have complained but didn't want to make a fuss.

My husband and I went to nandos while our eldest was at a concert we sat down and my husband went to order,we had a less then 5 minute wait for out butterfly burger and chips We were talking so just picking chips I then came to my burger cut through it to find pink chicken and a lovely pink ooze coming from it so I stopped my hubby eating his and got him to look his was the sameSo he took them back,To which point 2 ladies on a table next to us said are yours raw too... Being a regular customer to various nandos restaurants, I can clearly say this was the worst visit I have experienced! Customers who ordered after us received their food long before my wife and I. When we did eventually receive our chicken, it was burnt on the outside and very dry on the inside.No check back was offered either.Disappointed to say the least.

got a large group of 7 of us in quickly with no hassle after waiting 45 minutes plus at the one in st davids. the last time we went to the st davids one we had cold food and hair in the meal. the food at the brewry quarter was a lot nicer and came quickly although they always forget perinaises which you have to pay extra for.

First time at Nando's and I was not disappointed with the food as for the staff they were efficient and friendly. I paid around 10$ so honestly excellent value for money.

My daughter suggested we go to nandos, would not be my normal choice, but glad we did, efficient staff, plenty of nice food had by all, if your a chicken nut it seems the place to go, very busy but staff handled it all well, we did queue for a while to get in, but 10 minutes was worth the wait

Having been newly redecorated I thought a lot of previous issued would have been dealt with. I found the best thing about this branch of Nandos were the staff. The food was mediocre and table hygiene not brilliant. Will go to a different branch next time.
