Nice hotel. My room was upgraded by hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpfull. Some of the best food I've had in a hotel. Highly recommend the sea bass.

I’ve never been here before, in fact I’ve lived in Cardiff most of my life and to be honest I’d never noticed this pub before, but I was really surprised. I really liked the decor, the staff were very friendly and I’ll definitely be popping in here for a pint next time I’m out in Cardiff

WOW ! A fantastic meal at the Cambrian again, our fourth visit and great to see Robin and Hannah are doing so well, with meals like we have had we wouldn’t expect any different. Highly recommend and we will be back in June 👌 Ian & Sal (Rallyschool)

I love the Old White Horse, we come here regularly, usually for birthday celebrations and have never left disappointed. Was great to see my old pal Aaron behind the bar. The food, the drink, the staff... It's just the best around 👍

Lovely location with ample parking on site. The room was OK, warm and welcoming, but the mold in the bathroom really needs addressing. Breakfast was great and they cater for gluten free which is always a huge plus for me. Great for a quick stop over for work.

Great view, service sucks, they advertise hot chocolate drinks, they're luke warm chocolate drinks.

We visited on a Sunday night while we were staying in the area. Good choice of drinks. Staff and locals very welcoming to us and our dog. Would definitely return if in the area again.

I'll never use this when women in there,the one today lunch time fri 4th, does not look up and starts conservation with, what do you want. If you don't want to be there, leave.

Indian opposite plus Chinese and chip shop close good pint good atmosphere.

We visited whilst on our way down to Builth Wells. A family of 8. Food was fabulous very tasty. Staff extremely friendly and worked very fast to serve our Sunday lunch. Very large portions and a huge bowl of cauliflower cheese unfortunately only one of our party liked that so a lot went to waste. We would definitely recommend! Diolch yn fawr/thank you very much

Great pub in Newport City Centre, friendly atmosphere, great staff and they do a very good cooked dinner on Sundays choice of meats and a healthy portion of veg, gravy boats are served with each dinner well worth a visit and very reasonably priced

Yet another fabulous Christmas day spent here. Not overly busy no q's at the bar or carvery. Friendly efficient service, good festive atmosphere. Food was top notch. Hot and tasty. As a family we had a great time thankyou all
