Penceunant Isaf Tea Rooms

Llanberis, Gwynedd
28/11/2018: Honestly - this was exactly what we needed after a very satisfying yet exhausting hike up and down Mount Snowdon! My best friend and I got back a little later than most, but this place was still open, and felt like a huge hug! Stefan was as wonderful as the much-needed cake and tea! He and his friends (who had come round to have dinner with him) were incredibly friendly, chatty and engaging. Stefan definitely caters for all kinds of guest as well, so whatever your background, age, race, religion, etc, he has the necessary knowledge and facilities to accommodate! Oh, and the fire - well, it's just perfect.
20/11/2018: What a welcoming place for a beer after climbing Snowdon. Stefan is the host here. Really nice fella serving fab local ales. Highly recommended

Lovely place in church bay nothing else like it in the area, can’t wait to go back and to sit in the tea garden over looking the sea ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
01/11/2018: What a lovely find in a great setting in Church Bay. The homemade cakes were scrumptious and everything was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend a visit, especially if the weather is good (outside seating only).

02/12/2018: Attended on 30th November and experienced. Truly wonderful Christmas meal with my wife and two friends. Had the full 4 course meal and I can say it wAs the finest Christmas dinner I have every enjoyed outside my own home.
28/11/2018: We wanted to go last Monday for hubby’s birthday but it’s closed on Mondays so please note. So we went Wednesday. I had the prawn cocktail to started had I realised how large it was I would not have ordered a main course, it was WELL worth the money. Hubby had whitebait and half duck nd I had the chicken in white wine and mushrooms from the specials. We both struggled to eat everything. The staff were friendly and in fact one of the waiters family came from the next estate where we live. Bearing in mind we were on holiday from the Black Country.

Poachers Restaurant

Criccieth, Gwynedd, 30-45£
11/12/2018: So glad we reserved a table, especially December Christmas party time. It very quickly became obvious why Poachers is named Criccieth best restaurant. We found the service very good and the food excellent.

Myddelton Grill On The Square

Ruthin, Denbighshire
02/12/2018: Attended with family (30) for Sunday lunch to celebrate my Mum's 86th birthday. The whole experience could not be faulted. Food was excellent, very tasty and in plentiful. The service was brilliant. All meals were served hot and seamlessly at the same time. Staff were very tentative and polite. Would definitely recommend. Thank you. We'll be back.
01/12/2018: Had Christmas party there this afternoon portions not worth the money. Chef came out of kitchen started arguments with another member of staff in front of people in the restaurant will not be going there again definitely not acceptable

Gogarth, Conwy
16/12/2018: Went for a so called Christmas dinner, the portions were minute, tiny little trays for turkey, had to pay separately for vegetables and then it came with no potatoes. We were all still starving afterwards so had to order pizza. Expensive for what we got, should have gone elsewhere.
11/12/2018: Food was very tasty but portions were far too small for my liking.Expected more for £42 !!

Sosban and The Old Butchers Restaurant

Cadnant, Isle of Anglesey
27/11/2018: This was our 2nd visit to this marvellous restaurant. My first review three years ago said this............ "The food, oh my the food, we were served six different dishes for our meal and had no idea what each course was going to be. This is a brilliant concept for people who are open to trying any type of food". Well it's fair to say not much has changed except for the small matter of be awarded a Michelin Star. If you are thinking "WE JUST WANT TO GO OUT FOR A NICE MEAL" then go to any of your regular "NICE" meal restaurants ! If you fancy a sensory sensation and would like to be introduced to tastes and combinations that you may never have tried before, but which all taste and look amazing (in our opinion) then this restaurant will fulfil that requirement fully. My only small gripe is that the price had gone up from when we booked and were not made aware of this until being presented with the bill. To finish on a positive note, the wine list is not expensive and the service was excellent.
30/10/2018: I was so happy when I managed to book a table the day before our trip to Anglesey. Our break was to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary so I was very excited that we got a table last minute! This isn't my husbands type of thing!

Beau's Tea Rooms

Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey
29/10/2018: Popped in for a late lunch as we walked past this place in the summer and never got a chance of trying , definitely worth the wait! So many delicious food choices to choose from, really friendly staff, lovely design. Definitely would come back again to try more food, plus to try more tea, I went for a standard cuppa but they have 30 flavours of tea to choose from so loads of choice, something for every taste bud also I must try some cake the next time as it looked delicious!
20/10/2018: Popped in for a coffee this morning and I can honestly say it was the worst coffee I have ever had! It came from a machine and was tasteless apart from the dryness of powdered milk! Can’t comment on tea or the food but if the coffee is anything to go by steer clear.
