Had lunch here a few days ago with friends. We were given a lovely warm welcome, coats taken and shown to our table. Great choice of food, with full explanations of all dishes given if required. I can not fault any part of this experience, the young trainees worked very hard to make sure everything went well. The staff were all very professional and it would have been easy believe you were in a āproperā restaurant. In fact I have had much worse food and service in many restaurants! Very generous portions of food, very well presented and good service. Excellent value when full price but we were lucky to go when a 2 for 1 offer was on. I can definitely recommend and will without doubt visit again soon. Thank you and well done to the youngsters.

Lovely little cafe with wholesome tasty homemade food and treats and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Nice plant and gift shop next door too.

Never know if it's open or not. If it was we would use the bar often as I'm sure mist from the local caravan site would. Missing a trick here.

We had a 4 day stay, visiting the lovely beach at Conwy Morfa, the mountains nearby, the lovely village of Rowan and a gig at the stadium in Colwyn Bay. The small hotel is beautiful and full of character. The eating space, lounge and bedroom were excellent with a bar where you can help yourself if the hosts arenāt around - just write down what you had! The jewel is the extensive garden where you can relax amidst beautiful countryside surroundings. The nearby village has one pub which serves good food and there are numerous enchanting local walks in the north Wales countryside or mountains within easy reach. The hosts are. Chris and Sandra who will be only to pleased to look after you and engage in a good conversation should you wish. Thereās a terrace where you can enjoy your drink and the breakfasts are extensive and varied and cater for vegetarian and gluten free options. In all a delightful stay.

We were visiting Llandudno for the day and weāre looking for food. We were a bit late in the afternoon and all the hotels had stopped serving food to non guests. A quick Google search and Darcieās popped up! Upon arrival we were stood outside weighing the place up and a couple came out. The lady said āgo in itās great in thereā so we did. Great it was! We were initially greeted by two young ladies. We were very impressed with the warm welcome and their genuine engagement with us. So many times with young staff you feel as if youāre interrupting their chat or social media time but these two enjoyed their work and wanted us to have a great time. It was so refreshing. The food order was taken and it arrived not too long after. Delicious, tasty, nicely presented and appropriately priced. We are vegetarians and there was a good choice at Darcieās. We canāt highly recommend it enough and we will be back for sure. Thank you all for a pleasant food experience

Staying at the Celtic Royal again we decided to treat ourselves! Slightly put off by seemingly expensive menu but the portions were amazing and food cooked to a really high standard. And then, the puddings! Amazing choice and absolutely delicious! Weāll be back - I hope!

I found this place while looking on tripadvisor before going to Porthmadog. It's tucked in just off the main street, to the left, just passed the Post Office. A nice welcoming place, lovely decor. Clear price lists and all the fresh produce on display in front of you. I ordered egg salad sandwiches ( made to order while you wait ), and they were huge, very thick bread. Absolutely delicious. I even went back later for tea and cake to take away, the victoria sponge was amazing and was put in a small box ( not just chucked in a paper bag ). Staff were friendly and helpful, they were busy, but it was still a nice, calm environment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
