We were visiting Llandudno for the day and we’re looking for food. We were a bit late in the afternoon and all the hotels had stopped serving food to non guests. A quick Google search and Darcie’s popped up! Upon arrival we were stood outside weighing the place up and a couple came out. The lady said “go in it’s great in there” so we did. Great it was! We were initially greeted by two young ladies. We were very impressed with the warm welcome and their genuine engagement with us. So many times with young staff you feel as if you’re interrupting their chat or social media time but these two enjoyed their work and wanted us to have a great time. It was so refreshing. The food order was taken and it arrived not too long after. Delicious, tasty, nicely presented and appropriately priced. We are vegetarians and there was a good choice at Darcie’s. We can’t highly recommend it enough and we will be back for sure. Thank you all for a pleasant food experience

Lovely fish buttie, nice tearoom, great service. Definitely a good place to visit near the front. Seems a lot tidier than most of the dated cafes in the area

We stayed in Llandudno for a lovely long weekend, on the lunch time of leaving for a long drive back home, we were looking for a coffee & a bite to eat, we went to Seymours cafe, unfortunately they wanted to sit us next to a windy open front door on a table for two, when there was plenty room for us to sit inside elsewhere, we asked to be moved but they didn't want to move us as we couldn't sit at another table as there were just two of us, you have to ask, how does that work??!! We left, walked a few yards and found this little treasure Darcie's tea rooms, so clean, so pretty, excellent service , with a lovely menu.

Lovely freshly cooked food with a large choice of items. Good variety of drinks - loved the mismatched china. Cakes looked fabulous but didn't have room to try one. Very friendly staff

A lovely cafe with tasty vegan lunch options. We have been here 3 times already on our holiday, and will probably go again before we leave. The staff are friendly, and the food is delicious. Vegan options include a vegan ham and cheese sandwich, toastie, or panini, a vegan fishless finger sandwich with vegan mayo, falafel and houmous with salad, or houmous, chilli oil, pitta bread and olives.

My wife, 11 year old daughter and I went for an afternoon tea. We were welcomed at the door by a friendly waitress and taken to our seats. We had a lovely view of the Great Orme, pier and beach. We had the afternoon tea which was amazing and our daughter had a fish finger sandwich with chips which she loved. There was a really nice atmosphere, food was excellent and the service was fantastic. This is somewhere we will definitely visit again. Thank you for a great experience.

Enjoyed lunch on a small terrace outside hotel. Excellent service, all light bites and sandwiches well presented and tasty. Coffee had a good flavour and tea served in some beautifully miss matched china tea pot, cups and saucers.

We got 10% discount here for being residents at Beachside where the tea room is based. We would highly recommend a visit here.
